    Small Greek Salad

Ever since my boyfriend and I found this place it's been our lunch date go to! The staff is so friendly, outside seating is so nice to have, they have a pretty large drink selection alcohol and non. The food is phenomenal, Between the Greek salad and the eclipse pizza with no mushrooms we absolutely love the brick oven crust. It is delicious, affordable and super filling for 2 people. 10/10 would recommend.

Yummm!! What a perfect Friday night meal! The seating outside is a nice feature as well. We got the large half pep talk and half lumberjack. Also tried the Kona calzone. Everything was amazing! Staff was very friendly and nice. Try some locally made Tahoe Treats Candy and freeze-dried ice cream while you're there! We will be back!

11/26/2025 tried for first time. Large eclipse combo. Got a thin crust, not greasy, good undercarriage. Ranch was a little watery but thickened up once put in the fridge. I loved the way it tasted the next day cold. Pretty good and would try a

I recently learned that they offer cauliflower and gluten free crusts in addition to their regular crust. Had the Grecian with cauliflower crust. Wish the crust got crisper but just glad they offer it. It was very good and the salad was fresh, crisp and delicious. My husband loved his combo pizza. We ordered to go since the indoor seating area is small and it was raining but on a nice day the patio is enjoyable.

Finally getting around to reviewing this place after many years of loving it. To be honest you would think there's not much that pizza spots can do that set them apart, but yet Eclipse is highly different than all of the rest. They have a wonderful selection of pizzas. Between their regular menu, secret menu, and build your own, you literally can't go wrong. They have a fantastic array of toppings to choose from- I fancy most of them. My favorite lately is the mascött pizza- sundried tomato, red bell pepper, artichoke hearts and more. I'm usually not much of a salad person, but their apple goat cheese salad is incredible. It is a must every time I come here. Their pizza is heavy on the toppings just like I prefer, and I don't feel awful and full of grease afterwards like most pizza places. One of the main downsides is that the wait times here can get pretty long, especially during common hours. It's a popular spot. There is also limited seating, so we almost always take it to go. Best pizza place in Reno.

Great neighborhood pizza restaurant! They have a good menu selection, with a nice variety of specialty pizzas. For this visit, we ordered a large pepperoni and a dozen wings for takeout, which took about 45 minutes on a Saturday evening. The pizza was good, with a nice thin crust. The wings could be a little crispier, but they had good flavor overall. The service was great, and the staff was very friendly. The restaurant itself is tiny. There are three tables on the bottom floor and a few on the second floor. However, they have a great outdoor patio with plenty of seating. The overall cost was good, not too expensive. Would recommend it you are in the neighborhood.

We ordered takeout from Eclipse and it satisfied our pizza and wings craving! My husband and I couldn't decide on a pizza flavor, so we ended up getting two different kinds. We got a small Mascott (chicken, artichoke hearts, spinach) and medium Eclipse Combination (pepperoni, sausage, mushroom). I couldn't find anywhere online what the different sizes are like or how many people they feed. I'd say the small can feed 1-2 people and a medium can feed 2-3 people. The small plus medium pizza was enough for both of us with a few leftover slices! I liked the Combination pizza better because I prefer those toppings. There was a good amount of cheese and toppings, crust is thin but not too crispy, and slices are on the smaller side. Both pizzas were good but nothing super special in our opinion. We got an order of buffalo wings as well, they were a nice addition to the pizza and had plenty of buffalo sauce on them. I wish they were a little bit more breaded though. I've had some amazing wings in town, so these weren't my favorite but still tasted good. Be sure to get sides of ranch! We got a lot of food for under $50 and were satisfied with everything we had. Glad we tried out another local business in NW Remo!

The ambiance is pretty nice if you can sit outside. They share the same outdoor seating with Walden's too or at least many people were using that area. People can bring their dogs outside too which is nice and it is a nice area. The inside is quite small but they have a decent selection of drinks in their fridges too: including a good amount of bottled/canned beer and a few beers on tap. The pizza selection was decent. We got a half and half of the downieville and the tour (no subsided tomato sub jalapeños). They were interesting combinations and were good but I think it's the crust that isn't our favorite otherwise it would've been a 4 star. It ultimately ended up being a little underwhelming but honestly might be due to the crust.

I love coming here! The staff are always so welcoming and polite. They're a small business, and they make me feel like one of the family. I enjoy the lunch specials. For the price I think it's the best deal in town. I like to sit out on the court yard ands people watch, lol. Everyone's so nice that comes through there. The pizza is some of the best I've experienced out west in a long time. 10/10.

Since my first review, I have been to Eclipse a few more times. Every time, the staff are extremely friendly and accommodating and the salads, pizza and wings are SOLID. You cannot beat the lunch special for $10. Beer on tap, soda fountain and lots of bottled and canned options available in refrigerated selection. Because of space restraints, the patio is the best choice in warmer months but let's not forget about these folks in the winter months -- the food is definitely worth taking out!

Does your gluten free crust contain grains?

Hi Joe, brown rice flour but no grains. Thanks

Was wondering if their cauliflower crust is ketogenic friendly?

Hi Manny, Yes the Cauliflower crust is Keto friendly. We have many customers on a Keto diet (including me!) that have cauliflower pizza. The crust itself has 4-5 grams of carbs. The ingredients are cauliflower, egg, cheese, basil, and salt.

I grew up eating Indonesian food and other Southeast Asian cuisines, and always look for Indonesian food whenever we travel, and was excited to see there were two in Carson City. The other one was my first choice but they're closed on Mondays, so we came here on our way to Tahoe. We arrived a little after 4pm so it was quiet. The chef's husband walked us through the menu and ordering system, all the time hyping up the food and flavor and multiple awards they've won and how everybody loved/raved about their food and had never tasted flavors like theirs. The man is clearly very proud of his wife, which we appreciate. Since rendang was sold out, we decided on lemongrass chicken with yellow rice for the hubs, chicken satay with fried rice for the kid, and gado gado for me. We also ordered canned drinks but were offered free bottled water (for dining in) which we accepted with gratitude. Food came relatively quickly, fifteen minutes or so. Presentation was nice, with banana leaf on wooden platter and silverware and napkin. This particular lemongrass flavor is unfamiliar to me, and aside from heat from the chili it was flat. The chicken pieces were deep fried and dry. The nasi kuning must be old because it was hard, and there was barely any flavor. The chicken satay pieces were alright according to the kid, a little dry but tasted good. The nasi goreng was so-so, I see bits of fried egg and tasted kecap manis, but most importantly it was oily. The gado gado was actually acceptable, even if the tofu and potato cubes had been refried to a crisp, as was the hardboiled egg (also fried), and the peanut sauce was chunky and not creamy enough and lacked the distinct spices and flavor. The man had told us the ingredients are sourced fresh from Indonesia. Given they're in the middle of nowhere, it is not surprising if the food was prepped/cooked in batches instead of made fresh to order. Perhaps we came on an "off" day. Perhaps the raving reviews and awards were for the rendang only, which we didn't get to sample. If he had not talked our ears off the minute we stepped into the restaurant, perhaps we would not have had such high expectations of our meal. The chef seemed like a sweet woman and I wish her well. Might I suggest that her husband let customers determine for themselves if the food is truly amazing instead of forcing his extended elevator spiel on them. 3.5 stars, only because I am supporting an immigrant woman chasing her dreams in this political climate.

I opted for the following food items: * Bowl of Minestrone Soup ($7.50): a hearty vegetable soup with a tomato-based broth. Served with house-made bread. * Vegetable Lasagna ($17.50): Prepared with layers of pasta sheets, béchamel, ricotta, spinach, zucchini, mushrooms, marinara sauce, parmesan, and mozzarella. Served with house-made bread. First and foremost, I experienced satisfaction with every bite of the food. The soup was so warm and comforting with the fresh vegetables. The bread was a nice complement to soak up the tomato broth. The Lasagna was absolutely delicious. The portion of the slice was generously huge, and the taste was on point, especially with the personal request of extra marinara sauce (I always love extra sauce on pastas in general). The hospitality from all staff members was so amiable and attentive. They ensured that I had everything I needed during the dining experience. For both my soup and pasta, I was given the topping of freshly grated Parmesan cheese. The interior of the restaurant was small, yet cozy, with a welcoming feel for families. The Italian-themed decor was a beautiful touch to the restaurant. The inside of the restroom was clean. Lastly, the lunch menu offered affordable prices. Overall, La Cucina Italian Eatery exceeded expectations in my book! From the filling portions of food to the spectacularly kind service, I highly recommend visiting this restaurant. I'll be returning whenever I am in the Reno, NV area again.

It was piping hot, the sauce was robust, the ricotta cheese was delightful, and the pasta was cooked perfectly. It was such a large portion. I only ate half. Sit at the bar for the bar menu or sit in the dining room for a fixed price menu only but with fantastic choices and you can even get multiple section dishes which they scale down the generous size of a single dish so you can try more food (genius strategy). We were celebrating our 33rd wedding anniversary and we went all out like I hit the lottery (don't we all wish?). I started out with the caviar service which came with these incredible potato cakes rather than the usual mini Bellinis. Then we had oysters on the half shell, perfectly shucked, clean and no grit. Nothing ruins an oyster experience like a grit of shell or sand. None of that here! My photos show the entire meal which rivaled many restaurants I have been to in San Francisco. This is a Michelin level dinner but at a reasonable price considering the portions (LARGE) unlike The French Laundry where you get 80% less food for 75% higher prices. This is a place not to miss and is now my #1 pick for January 2026 for a high end quality meal with white glove service in the Sierra Nevada Foothills. I will be returning to check the bar menu which has completely different food. The menu will change so what I listed might not be on the menu but the Mushroom Cigars have always been on the menu for years. It clearly is a crowd pleaser and there is nothing here to critique other than you want to just keep eating! 5 Stars 1 Michelin Star (needs to be awarded here in my book!)
