    Dopo pizza and Pasta
    Hazel L.

Been meaning to try Dopo Pizza and Pasta. So glad that finally was able. They have spacious outside seating. Our reservation was for indoors. Nice ambience both inside and out. For starters, per our server's recommendation, we had the caprese salad. Spritzers were today's special and we had one of each. So far so good For our main course, we tried the Margherita and Tony's NYC pizza. Pizzas were great! Crispy with just the right amount of chewy goodness. For dessert, we had Tiramisu and Affogato. Really good postre. Overall, it was a great choice. Service was attentive and engaging. We had to find street parking, so allow time for that. We'll be back for sure.

Very cute place with street parking. Came in for a birthday dinner. They were busy and we got seated outside even though we made a reservation prior. We were not offer indoor seating when it started getting super windy and rained and was basically told they're closing their outdoor patio and we had to leave even though they were still open. We ordered a few cocktails like their spicy margarita, espresso martini, and a few glasses of red wine. For food, we shared the primavera, ananas, espana, and the scampi pasta. We tried the tiramisu for dessert. The pizza was pretty good here but not wow. I liked the flavors of the espana pizza. I wished their customer service was better.

It was my first time here! Ordered Burrata and focaccia bread for appetiser. The Burrata quantity was definitely a lot less as compared to the bread. It was tasty nevertheless. For the main, we ordered fig and the pig, but I didn't quite enjoy that pizza. Overall the service was amazing, ambiance was great.

We came back because we were craving their yummy pizzas again. The food was fantastic. This time I ordered a Margherita pizza with sausage and I loved it. The crust, sauce and toppings were outstanding. I love that there is lots of basil on it too, as most places skimp on it. My hubby ordered his favorite--the Margherita with prosciutto baked on top. He gobbled up every bite. And I think their Caesar salad is the best of any pizza place!! Service was great from Sadie the hostess and Colleen our server was delightful and attentive. It was a beautiful night dining out on their beautiful patio. And since it was Tuesday, they had a DJ and music to add to the ambiance. We had a great evening of amazing food, nice service and a wonderful setting.

First time I've been here since new owners took over. I was here last in 2022. If you've read any of my Pizza reviews ... I admit to being a pizza snob ... what can I say, I',m from NYC. However, I ordered a Tony's NYC 10" pie for lunch. And I added mushrooms. Thought I would take 1/2 of it home. It was so good, I truly ate the whole thing. Yes, I made a little piggy of myself, and I don't care! It was excellent. I do believe they have a full bar .. it was early so we just had soft drinks. Actually my friend had a mocktail, so there must be a bar. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. I like that the outdoor seating is fenced in so you don't have to see the traffic on both sides of the street. The service was excellent. My friend enjoyed a salad (although I did force a tiny piece of pizza on her, glad she didn't want more .. LOL. Honestly, I wanted to go to Dough, Sauce, Cheese that just opened a few blocks away. They claim they are NY style pizza. However, I learned that it's really a take out place. Only seating is one table outside .. in the sun. Maybe I'll take some out at a later date. But I am glad I went to DOPO and I will definitely go again.

Nice find while working in Reno for couple of weeks. It became our nightly hangout. Service was amazing. Staff was very personable and part of what we enjoyed the most. Pizza is wood fire -like quality. Arancini was by far our favorite dish.

1st time there, nice atmosphere in the patio, service was ok, food was not wow yet decent, I would say that their twist on the traditional aranchini was interesting, but I do find the prices way too high for what it is... $24 for a 14" pizza seemed high...actually higher than places I frequent in Beverly hills or Napa ...what was really good was their chocolate mousse!

I have been to DOPO well over 10 times since I discovered their cute little location in Midtown and over half of those stops have been at their new location downtown, and it continues to be one of my absolute favorite places to get pizza in Reno. I have a great appreciation for the simple, yet varied menu that also provides multiple vegetarian options for my partner. This time around we went with the Cherrypicker, the Verde, and the Brasare. The Verde without chicken came very close to filling the hole that has been left in our heart with the Grasshopper not on the menu currently. The Cherrypicker is one of our go to hits and never disappoints. And this was the first time I've tried the Brasare and the classic combo of pork and apple was delectable. Colleen is our favorite server in the world and we are so happy to have her every time we swing by for dinner. She is a pleasure to be around and elevates the whole experience.

Wow, what an experience we had here! We loved the outdoor seating and our service was perfect! Our pizza and pasta was incredible and tasted so fresh and unique! I didn't think it could get any better until we ordered the ciccolato budino for desert! This was by far one of the best deserts I've had in a long time! Oh my, I can't wait to come back!

Wow!! I can't believe it took me so long to check out this spot, so glad I finally did. The restaurant is large, nicely decorated and offers outdoor patio area to enjoy the nice weather when available. The service was expedient and excellent, our server took great care of us and was super friendly and welcoming. The food, absolutely delicious. The pizza's are made with a slow-fermented dough that creates the perfect crunch and is topped with fresh ingredients and bold Italian flavors (San Marzano tomatoes, fior di latte, fresh basil, and a drizzle of extra-virgin olive oil). We had the Fig and Pig and the Margherita and both were fantastic. We also ordered the Besciamella handmade pasta which featured perfectly al dente fettuccine with garlic, shallot, white wine, grana padano and mushrooms. It was excellent and fortunately I remembered to get a picture before it was devoured. We also shared the Autunno which included mixed greens, candied hazelnut, feta, pomegranate and a maple-dijon vinaigrette and it was finger-licking good. Dinner was fantastic and I can't wait to visit again next month with family to celebrate my daughter's graduations.

The hubby and I caught a nice day and wanted a patio experience. We headed to what was Sizzle and found Dopo in its place. Surprised we headed into there beautiful remodeled patio area. Plenty of seating and shade. We were greeting by a lovely lady who informed me the fig & pig pizza was popular. I opted for this pizza and was not dissapointed! I added stracciatella mmm mouth watering. The fig & balsamic complemented eachother while the crust was light, crisp and baked well. The hubby did not have any complaints nor did the mini we brought with us who was trying to steal all the cheese. The wine was lovely but we were sad to hear it was the last shipment the owner would have as the import cost was getting too high. We really enjoyed our lunch and plan to return for a dinner to try some of the pasta on the menu.

Standard-level food and service experience in a busy but very aesthetic environment. The patio is very pretty and has a privacy fence separating the seating from the street.

Eggplant spread with gluten free sweet potato flatbread

First visit to the new location and what an amazing transformation! Popped in on a Thursday night and the place was packed with the wait out the door. Sadly, it's still not big enough to accommodate its popularity in the winter months, but when the summer rules around that patio is really lit! The vibes are low-key and the decor minimal which means you can focus on your company and the food, which is exactly how I like it. Menu is simple easy to understand and everything on it is done well. You can't come here and not get a pizza because that's what made them famous and for good reason. I've never tasted crust like this and it's gotta be because they take three days to make that dough. This time around we kept it simple with the Tony's NYC and that house made sausage and Crispy curling pepperonis never disappoint. Added a fresh Caesar salad salad highly recommend getting the bigger one because even though you can't share the small one you're gonna want a little extra. We also had to go with some of their spreads and breads and tried the sweet potato gluten-free flatbread with the eggplant dip, and it was divine. Cocktail menu is also kept clean and neat and I tried the Alpine old-fashioned and enjoyed every sip. The service slaps because the team is passionate about the product and they know it inside and out and make sure your experience is always exceptional. If Dopo has not been on your radar, put it there right now and make it the next place you go.

Ask the Community - DOPO Pizza & Pasta

Can people with Celiac eat at the new, larger location? Wondering if they've taken any steps to limit cross contamination.

Does DOPO allow dogs on their patio?

I want to say no because it looks like they extend their dining area to the outside patio.

Does anyone know if the homemade tomato sauce has onion or garlic in it?

We had the Bolognese last night and it definitely had plenty of onion and garlic in it - it was delicious!

    Are all the pizza's 14"?

Yes. They only have one size. Yummy.
