Expect your clothes to be returned to you immaculate! And the alterations rock. The only drawback is how long it takes. They used to have a two to three day turn around. Pretty good for environmentally friendly cleaning. Takes a bit longer. But the last time I went in and turned in clothes in on Friday was promised ready by Wednesday, not ready. Something has been up with him lately and it just can't get done timely. Not sure what's up. Sometimes he has a very anti-woman impression. I had my hat for clean . It was beautiful quality material hat. When I i picked up the hat was basically torn apart on top, damaged so badly. I showed the owner about this ,which he knew. He loudly said that it happened. How it works. It happened while cleaning. Not apologizing, not paying for the dAmage, instead he said it was hat fault, not their fault. Mothetfacker. This short midfle middle eastern guy was no way should not be in biz. I was to get back to work so I didn't want yo call police and paid the motherfscker .walked out. Now the hat is no use anymore. He l told me it's ok to use a torn hat. He demanded the payment . This biz is should be shut down for good My jacket wasn't that clean either. I wanted to find a eco-friendly dry cleaners since I moved from my beloved Los Feliz and they are severely lacking in the city of San Gabriel - so I headed north and I love this place! I got 3 pairs of pants, a skirt and a jacket (that had been bombed by a bird) cleaned and pressed for $28.75. The service was very friendly, everything was ready when promised and I even got a $5 coupon for my next visit. Even better...they are open on Saturdays! This cleaners is awesome! I don't think the seamstress is the greatest, but there are other places I got for that service. As for the cleaning itself, they do a great job - the clothes don't shrink, the owners are super nice, and everything is in great order when it's time to pick it up. This is the BEST dry cleaner in the city. Seriously. It took me 2.5yrs in the Pasadena area to find a cleaner that was trustworthy, genuinely good people, and listened to my needs and concerns with different fabrics! I had previously gone to a cleaners where I constantly asked them not to put safety pins through my mans expensive button downs, and time after time they would ruin his shirts. Not this place! I have trusted them with everything! My designer handbags (fabric and leather), shoes, suits, ect. I've been to Eco-Clean 3 times, the first time I was satisfied w/their work, however, the price was higher than originally quoted by the lady who took my clothing. When I went to pickup, the man was there. I told him the price he told me was higher, he did lower, after my not backing down about it. 2nd time was no incident. Wish I could say the same for the 3rd & final time...I'll never go again. Scenario: I took in a soiled/stained mattress cover (courtesy of one of my tenants) which contained 2 pieces connected by a zipper. I asked him could he clean it, he said yes, he could not quarantee that all the stains would come out fully, but he will try his best. We then talked a bit & he said, he wanted my business & if he did not do a good job, he would not get it. Well, I'm a reasonable man, this sounded fair to me, so I left it. When I returned to pickup, I saw that the comforter was sloppily placed at the edge of the counter uncovered, not in plastic & had pieces of little black lint on it. I opened both pieces & saw all the stains that were originally on it when I took it in! I asked him..."Did u clean this", it looks like nothing was done. He became irate, I became upset upon hearing him tell me..."I told u the stains would not come out". I was shocked! Had he told me he was definitely sure the stains would not come out, I would have taken it elsewhere! What he did say is already stated above How could he just stand there & tell me (& my wife) this bold faced lie. I told my wife, "this is not the conversation we had, its not what he told me" By now I was really pissed...he & I had our verbal exchange, now he did not want my business, told me to get out, however, still wanted to be paid $40 for his "so called" cleaning. I asked him would he take something off that price, given how the comforter still looked. He refused. It took every bone in my body not to go upside this man's head!, however, I knew my wife & I would be the only one's on the losing end if that occured. I'll never recommend this place to anyone & will never return there again!!! read more

Professional, friendly, work has been systematically ready on date/time promised. Shirts and pants are pressed to perfection. Had a woolen blanket cleaned. It came out so soft! Unlike the other "environmentally safe" cleaners in Pasadena, Eco-Clean Dry Cleaners does not leave a residual smell of their cleaning agent/soap(?) on the clothing. This is especially important for my husband's dress shirts. This cleaners is also good at getting food and oil stains out of clothes. The other eco-friendly cleaners in Pasadena, I've gone to 3 of them, more often then not miss the stain altogether and then a re-do is necessary which means waiting for that piece of clothing for several days. I've been going to Eco-clean for almost a year. I tried it because I had read the negatives about regular dry cleaning. I have been very pleased with both the cleaning and the friendly service of the proprietors. Recently a friend showed me a new silk shirt which was still badly stained after a trip to a long-established and expensive Pasadena cleaner; they had attached a tag saying the stains wouldn't come out. I thought I'd try Eco-Clean, showed it to Arthur--and returned a few days later to find the stains completely gone--and for a price less than the other cleaner. The worst cleaners I ever used. I took my suits in to be dry cleaned. On the surface everything looked fine. I picked up my suits and brought it home on a Friday and hung them up in my closet. On Monday when I was getting dressed for work, I noticed the lining on some of the suits were either torn or shredded. I took the suits back a couple of days later. I tried to tell them that the lining on my suits were damaged. At first I talked to the female owner, then the male owner (who must have heard the conversation) came out from behind the counter yelling and screaming at me saying that it was my problem and told me to get the f*** out. He didn't even look at the suits or try to address the problem. He just came out yelling like a lunatic. My five year old son who was with me was scared out of his mind. I had to take my suits to another cleaners to redo the lining. These are the worst people I have ever dealt with and I would never go back there again. read more

I've been going to this place for a few months now. The two people that run the place are very very nice. I've taken clothes to get hemmed and regular dry cleaning. They have a regular turn around time on clothes are are reasonably priced. They are at a busy intersection so you can't miss them but the parking lot is tiny. Half of the time when I go there is very little to no parking. If you go during off peak hours, you'll be fine. The little shopping center has about 5 other stores so that's why it gets packed. Other than that, they have great hours, 7am - 7pm M-F and 8-5pm Sat, closed Sunday. read more

New to Pasadena and this is the first cleaner I've tried. No need to find another! The owner is very friendly and inspects my clothes thoroughly before deciding how to treat. To seal the deal, I went in today to ask if a garment could be altered with no intention of having it altered today as I need it by 7:00 tonight. The people who run and staff this cleaners need to learn about service. They believe they're doing you a favor. Stay away. One time I was in the area and needed a bus and change, the staff refused to leave their seat to even come give me change for $1. Absolutely horrid, avoid at all costs. read more

I have never had but a superb experience. The owners are super friendly. They always say, "Hey, it's good to see you again!" whether it's been 2 weeks or 6 months. My clothes have always come out clean and well pressed. I have also had to use them for a few items that needed to be sewn. The final product has always been just as I requested. I'm bummed that Yelp forces you to give a star rating cuz this dry cleaners deserve a 0! I went there for the first time and had a dark colored linen shirt dry-cleaned. After I picked it up I noticed that it had a large dark spot near the shoulder, so I brought it back and the woman took it to the back to have the man redo it. He came out and blamed me for rushing him, can you believe it?? He said he'd redo it again but the way he said it was so huffy, it was so unpleasant! They both said that sometimes from the dry cleaning process that whatever was there will be brought out more -- I've never heard of that before and I said that. I said, "What if it doesn't come out after you redo it?" He threw his hands up in the air and told me with a scowl in his face that he doesn't put spots on people's clothes. I said that all I know is that there weren't any spots before I picked it up. The woman said that other people say the same thing about spots appearing after dry cleaning -- makes me think that they just don't do a good job!!! Anyway, the man got huffier and was yelling in a very hostile way already, so I said that he cannot talk to me that way, that I am the customer. He proceeded to keep on talking over me, so I tried to tell him that I need to make my point first but he kept interrupting me! When I tried to talk to the woman, she became very stoic, unsympathetic and just took his side. I told them that this is terrible customer service! So I left with my shirt without him redoing it and I told them that they just lost a new customer and that I was going to tell everybody about them -- I decided that I wasn't going to ever step foot in there ever again! He's wasted enough of my time and money ($6.50 for one shirt)!!! What a hothead he is, he was irritated at the mere fact that I came back for a redo! He really refused to take responsibility!
