I am living in an Airbnb that allows dogs. The sofas and the carpets were so filthy that I wouldn't even walk on them with my bare feet or sit on the furniture. There must've been jog hair from at least the last four or five renters. It was truly disgusting. Even though it's not my responsibility as a tenant, I decided I couldn't take it anymore and I called Echo friendly carpet cleaning to come give me a quote. Not only did they show up on time they actually came a little early and gave me an inspection and what I considered to be a very fair price for the amount of filth that was in this house. They arrived the next day on time as promised, and two of them worked on the sofas alone for at least an hour. The selfies were so filthy that the water that came out was black. Then they cleaned the carpets. Again there was signs of previous defecation and urination on the carpets that must've been there for at least a couple of years. The parts of the carpet that should've been cream or white was gray or black. It was truly disgusting too. These guys cleaned the carpet and made it look amazing. I'm quite comfortable that I can walk around the house now in my bare feet and actually use the living room which I have not used since I moved in here which has been over six months. But the roommate with his friends made mess on living room, so we needed it. It smells good like orange! Originally I was quoted for 2 bedrooms with living room was $89, but ended up with $135 (with some deep cleaning for a few areas). It's still cheaper than others. I got some quotes like $250-300. I really wish I could give this business 5 stars like others. I called them reading the high rating, but the technician who came to my house used certain product/sanitizer that has left a permanent odor in one of my rugs. The technician assumed that just cause I had a pet my rug has pee and pet odor! I am not sure why they didn't ask before using chemicals even though there were no stains on that rug. Tony did send another technician to steam clean again and check for ordor order. Unfortunately he was unable to detect the odor cause he was heavily cologned so all we could smell was him. I decided to dry the rug in my backyard in hopes of getting rid of the smell. It helped little bit but when I smell my rug it still smells of the sanitizer sprayed. I will give the business 5 stars for responsiveness but 0.stars for accountability. What's funny is they brought a device that looks like stud finder and claimed that to be smell detector. When you google for such device nothing comes up! Also, it was fishy how heavily cologned the technician who came to check on smell was that it masked the smell from the rug and company kept denying that they caused the odor in the rug that had none! Tony kept saying how my rug was clean whereas the issue was odor. The company refused to take any responsibility of permanently damaging my rug. Now I am left with a rug that smells and has no remedy!! Since it was steam cleaned twice in 4 days, I can't proceed with shampoo which will ruin the rug altogether. Also, I called them twice to ask pricing for 4×6 rug. Tony said 69.99$ but the technician that came upped the price to 150$. He gave me better pricing in the end but it's quite unprofessional to use bait and switch tactic. read more
