Let me start off from the beginning, we got over van ceramic coated back in November of last year at a DIFFERENT company. It was a poor coating and window tint job. I shipped my car here and it arrived full - FULL - of mold, and the engine bay rusted out. I had no idea what to do, what cleaners to use, or how to even prepare my car for this type of cleaning. I came in with my car after the holidays, and due to their backlog started a lot of the cleaning myself out of necessity and fear, but the owner helped me every day. I have a love/hate relationship with the automatic emergency breaking on new(er) model cars when they think you're about to hit something--the system can be wrong, and can then pitch a drink from your backseat all the way into the front. After I couldn't figure out how to properly get rid of said disaster without risking the gear buttons, I searched for a local place and found Eco Wash. I made an appointment through the website, received consistent communication, and reminders about my appointment (mahalo!!). After dropping my car off, I got a call to let me know the service I selected was likely unnecessary for what I actually needed, and they recommended a different, less expensive one. This, in addition to how nice the interior of my car looks now, is what will bring me back to Eco Wash if/when I need it detailed again. I don't have a lot of car knowledge, so I REALLY appreciate that they made an honest assessment, even if it cost them less than what they planned on earning that day. They're located next to City Mill, in the Sherwin Williams facing building, about 1/2-2/3 the way down the driveway. There's an area to turn around in, if someone is picking you up/dropping you off. They had what I think is a waiting room, but I opted to drop off (930AM-230/3PM was about how long it took) and come back. P.S. if you get your seats conditioned, don't wear smooth pants when getting back in your car because you'll be whooshed right back out :) read more

We got ceramic coating for our new 4Runner and have received so many compliments! Jay and his team provided a complimentary first wash after about 2 weeks and gave a very detailed tutorial on how to properly be wash the car. To be honest, we'll just bring it in for monthly washes since 1) we probably won't have time to do it ourselves and 2) Jay and his team will do a much better job! When we bought a 2023 Ford Escape I wanted to protect the Star White Tri-coat paint. I've heard mixed reviews on ceramic coatings and I was hesitant to spend the money. I took my car in for a regular detail and asked questions about ceramic coatings. Jay explained the process, made sure I understood what it was and what wasn't. I booked an appointment for the 3+ year premium package where I had to leave it overnight. When I picked it up I was very pleased. The surface felt real slick and looked great! They said do not wash it for the next 2 weeks. They would do a complementary wash 2weeks later. The only thing I had to do was promptly clean up any bird droppings. They gave clear instructions on how to do that. During this 2 week period I would see some dirt on the car, but with the next rain it was gone! After 2 weeks rain water beaded just was well as the first day. When I took it in for that first car wash Jay went over, in great detail, the best way to care for a ceramic coated car. It's this extra follow up care that Jay provides convinced me that he stands behind his product and service. I called him and explained that I needed to get my car detailed before I turn it back into the dealership because my lease is up. He was very nice and upfront with me and gave me his honest opinion (he stated that he used to sell cars and has experience/knowledge in this department) to not have it detailed before the turn in inspection which ultimately took money out of his pocket but saved me money. When I originally called, I was bummed to hear that they lost their lease at Pearlridge. However, that doesn't deter one from sheer perfection... you'll see why. My van's paint was severely oxidized and worse for wear was needless to say. After all, I have no covered parking at home or work, and my van is always exposed to the elements. When I arrived for my appointment yesterday morning... all of the workers had the look of, "Holy crap..." when they took a look at the paint, which worried me a little... but I knew it was an impossible battle to fight, so I didn't expect much. However, I was told that they would do their best to revive the paint and make it look better. So I chose the Level 3 exterior detail, and left the keys while I did what I had to do throughout the day. I received a call before 5pm, saying they were falling behind and they were still working on it. I figured as much, since the paint was pretty tore up. So I took my time going back, not expecting much difference, except for a cleaner looking van. So I took my time and looked around briefly in Windward Mall and leisurely walked back to their location at 5 minutes to 6pm. I walked up to their location and immediately could see the difference! I saw the entire crew working and busting their butts, working extremely hard getting the final details done. The bumpers, trim, windows, rims, tires, EVERYTHING looking to their standard of quality. It was a truly amazing sight to behold! I commended them at how the van looked... in fact, it didn't even look that good when I bought it brand new. I was offered a chair and sat down, watching them go over the final details of my van with Military precision... in fact, they were all beating themselves up that they couldn't get it to look better... hey guys, just know that this is awesome and you worked a miracle. By the time they were done, and I was about to go back home, it felt like I was driving a brand new car. So brand new in fact, the new car paranoia returned with full force... something I haven't felt since I bought the van in 2013.
