He has been to our property a number of times, and I'm honestly overdue in writing about the stellar customer service he consistently provides. Devon is communicative, attentive, and clearly remembers where we are in the ongoing work at our property. What stands out most is that he makes a real effort to understand what we need in order to feel that a visit was successful. He listens carefully, takes our concerns seriously, and treats us like customers who matter. Even though we are just one account, I always get the sense that Devon is doing his best to help resolve our issues. He knows the details of our service agreement, communicates clearly about the work being done, and remains flexible when we need guidance or adjustments. We've also had very positive experiences with Sophia, and we would be happy to keep working with both Devon and Sophia moving forward. I started with them last year and they did a great job. The people they send out are just wonderful and knowledgeable. I did some research and decided I wanted an obscure bug treatment that EcoGuard didn't offer so I went to Brooks owned by Clark Pest control. Brooks promised they would do the procedure and remove a wasps nest. They did neither and charged me. Then when I went to cancel they charged me ANOTHER FEE and refused to cancel my contract. Steer clear of Brooks. Do consider EcoGuard they really do try to achieve customer satisfaction. My only lament is that they didn't offer the obscure treatment as that has really yielded results with some of the infestation issues I have had. read more

I had EcoGaurd services for a few months now. The previous tech was unwilling to provide proper services. He even stated that the company was selecting to stop services and were no longer going to service the property because the issues were out of the EcoGaurds scope of work. He was refusing to spray. I called his manager. Has manager instructed him to spray the property. I watched him take the container out of his truck, the container was completely empty and he grabbed the water hose and filled it with water.Never adding any chemical. He sprayed the home with the water, he filled the container with. Since it was just water, no insects died. A few days ago a new tech came out. The new tech's name is Matt, he was very positive and educated. He went above and beyond and took his time to explain. Due to the severity of the infestation the process is going to take multiple times to make a big difference. I watched him take his container out of his truck, add the product the company uses, then water. He sprayed all baseboards he was able to access, behind the stove and the refrigerators throughout the house. He sprayed the garage and did the lining of the front of the home and the complete front yard. When I entered the home a few hours later. It was a visible change in thehouse, there were dead pests. This is the first time it was effective. I would like to acknowledge Matt for his amazing customer service and for taking the time to fix all the mistakes and carelessness of the last tech. I would like to request every time the tech comes out.It please be Matt. He deserves to be recognized for his outstanding work. Please feel free to reach out to me. Let me know how I can ensure that the upper management acknowledge his positive attitude and outstanding work ethic. He needs to be recognized. The other tech should be taught by Matt. He can learn how to properly mix the company's product to ensure effectiveness.. He also can learn customer service skills from Matt. I understand he stated that the homeowner was very disrespectful, when he called the office. I shouldn't be punished or feel the impact of the landlord's negative attitude and behavior. I recently moved to Fremont from Oregon, I was shocked by the amount of spiders! I called EcoGuars to see if they could come out to spray and De Web for spiders. The appointment was scheduled quickly, they came out the next day. Nico M was great! Very personable guy, he talked to me about the weather and why spiders love it here. Durning the walk through he made recommendations on how I could keep the critters out. He De Webbed and sprayed everywhere. He was thorough and I am relieved. There were so many spiders! They come to my house to do the outside spray for preventive pest control quarterly . But I have to call them almost every week to every month for the service because I still saw lots of ants and spiders inside my house. I had to buy the ant killer spray from homedepot and see the results next day. I highly doubt their formula of the spray is not strong enough to protect my house. read more

I would give this company a 0 if 0 was a choice. Do not believe in their 4.9 yelp rating! They did a no show to us and provided 0 updates and 0 explanation whatsoever...wasted so much of our time and caused tremendous grief and inconvenience. We are having a serious ant invasion problem. I signed up with EcoGuard because they offered the best prices. On Thurs 6/27/24 they scheduled the initial inspection & treatment for Fri 6/28 3-6pm. Shortly after I hung up the phone we received a surprising text saying the appointment was on Monday 7/1, 3-6pm window. I called back and the office said the technician was sick so they moved it out to Mon 7/1. We patiently endured 3 more days. Monday 7/1 came, we called the main office close to 12pm asking for the approximate ETA, they said it would be "close to 3pm." 3pm came and went...no show and no updates. We called in again at 3:45pm and they said the technician would "finish in 45 minutes and you are the next job." We waited another 2 hours. The technician was supposed to text us at least 30 minutes before coming over and it was less than 30 minutes before the close of the committed window. By 5:35pm, still no show and no updates. We called in the 3rd time. The office person had no idea if and when the technician would show up at all that day. 6pm came and went...no show and no updates. I called another company immediately (also 4.9 rating but the quotes were higher) and asked them to match EcoGuard's prices and they did! They quickly scheduled the initial treatment for this afternoon and provided the technician's full name so we know who will be coming over. EcoGuard called me this morning and offered 0 explanation as to why the technician didn't show up and why nobody gave any updates via text or phone call yesterday afternoon. They offered me a discount, but thanks no thanks I'd be stupid to trust them again. The company is totally unreliable. The 4.9 rating is a lie. 7/10/24 update: Jeff W., one of the executives at EcoGuard, called me the day after the no show. He not only sincerely apologized, finding what happened unacceptable, but he also offered to free services with a gesture to compensate for my lost time and inconvenience. He wished the case had been escalated to him timely so he could send another technician out the same day. It was apparent Jeff wanted to make things right. The no show I experienced was probably a one-off case. Thanks Jeff for your call. I believe you take customer reviews very seriously, so I've changed my review from 1 star to 3 stars. read more
