Thanks so much to Jonathan and Andreas! They had to come back three times to do a full service and they did it very kindly and with clear communication. The first time, it was raining and they said they could do the service inside but it wouldn't last as long if they did the outside, due to the rain. They also wanted to be sure we got our full money's worth by emptying some of the rooms that needed servicing. So, they did what they could the first visit and then they came back after the rooms were empty and it wasn't raining. Later, I realized that I'd given them the wrong information and we do, in fact, have a crawl space that I hadn't previously been aware of. I had been very pleased with MightyMite Termite when they dealt with subterranean termites, which never returned, and now I called them about carpenter ants. Unlike other companies, which try to sell you a plan over the phone, MightyMite Termite sends an expert to assess the situation first. The inspector, Rafael, was friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. He assessed the situation, explained they were only scouts, showed me the enttry points, and recommended practical steps to keep them at bay. In regards to MightyMite's General Pest department - Initially, the company seemed to care and was helpful in treating our general pest issues. However, the service has gone down hill. The department seems to have poor communication. I've been trying to get a hold of someone, ANYONE, in that department to schedule a follow up treatment that was recommended by the technician, but have not gotten any response. The person who finally answered the phone (twice) has told me the same thing: "They're on the other line, someone will give you a call back." And yet here I am - it's been a week and I have not received a "call back." I asked to speak to a manager today, but the person on the phone did not want to give me any name or contact info. What sucks is that we're at the end of our PAID 12 month contract, and we can't even schedule a follow up service. We've had a few other issues with them, but will save the time. One positive thing to say about them - Rafael is a good technician and explains things thoroughly. Anyway, overall, I do not recommend this company based on their poor communication and lack of follow up. read more

I noticed some frass (termite droppings) in a corner of the bedroom and a few more on the window sill. That same day, I heard a radio ad for MightyMite Termite Services and took it as a clear sign to act immediately. I contacted MightyMite and scheduled a termite inspection which took place in about a week. Every room was thoroughly inspected, as well as the crawl space, attic, and the exterior of the house. Termite activity was confirmed, and I was provided with a quote having three treatment options. Option one was the basic drywood termite treatment. Option two included both drywood and subterranean termite treatments along with cellulose debris removal. Option three offered everything that option two covered, plus an extended five-year warranty; the standard warranty being two years. I chose option two, knowing that I could always extend the warranty later if I wanted to. Shortly thereafter, they emailed me a detailed inspection report along with a work authorization contract to sign and scheduled the treatment. The crew arrived on time and completed the job efficiently. They used Termidor SC and Termidor Foam, and I didn't experience any ill effects from it. Since having their treatment done more than two years ago, the house is still termite free, and I highly recommend MightyMite! read more

MightMite performed spot termite exterminations in a few places in or near our garage,after carefully inspecting the entire property. The injections appear to have been effective, as far as we can tell, and at a reasonable price. They came when they said they would. We also had a problem of roof rat(s) in our walls! They installed rodent exclusion barriers and rodent traps, also at a reasonable price. The rodent technician Rafaele did a great job. Before we even knew it he had installed the Rodent Exclusion pieces on our very steep roof. In connection with the Rodent Snap Trap Service, he explained clearly what was going to be done, stalled the traps, and appeared timely to inspect them. My appointment was scheduled for 9am and they were at my door at exactly 9am. He was friendly, professional, and thorough. We discussed options (thankfully no tenting required!) and arranged for service the following week. Disappointing Experience for the Price I paid around $2,000 for a basic perimeter termite treatment from Mighty Mite, and the results were underwhelming. The crew finished in under three hours, which comes out to nearly $700 per hour, and the quality didn't match that rate. They dug a rough trench around our home but made almost no effort to refill it properly--just left a messy pile of dirt surrounding the house. Our landscaping was disrupted, and irrigation piping is now exposed at the surface. For a company charging this much, I expected far more care and professionalism. read more

They were initially eager and prompt to schedule an inspection and sign us up for a 5-year termite contract. We are doing a remodel and during the inspection, the technician found some termites in areas where carpet had been removed. They told us that as we removed more carpet and saw more areas of concern, to let them know and they would come back right away. On Friday we removed more carpet and found additional damage. They did not return my call. Today I called again and they are booked out for 3 months for contract service calls. Obviously, that will be too late. Moral of the story: they reserve their great service for signing up new customers. After that, not available. read more
