I stayed at the Hadley Econolodge, when I relocated from California. I was there a week, and enjoyed my stay. I thought that I got a good deal here, for a reasonable price.
This Econolodge is in a convenient location in Hadley. There's a bus stop right across the street. Behind this Econolodge, about a 5 minute walk away, is a mall. The mall features a Whole Foods store, Walmart, Marshall's, Border's Book shoppe, etc.
The interior of this Econolodge, is clean, and has a cheerful decor. My room was neat, comfortable, and spacious. A small swimming-pool, was located in a recreation area, next to the lobby. They have a friendly, attentive staff too. And they even have a small laundry room for guests to use.
They also have free Ethernet service, which is a blessing if you need to use your laptop while staying there. If you don't have your own computer, you can use the one that they have available in their lobby. It's got Internet access, and you can even print while you're using it.
I'd give Econolodge 5 stars, except that I thought their Continental breakfasts were mediocre. They always served frozen french toast, frozen waffles, and cold cereal. Too carb-rich for me! I would've appreciated some sausage, bacon, or yogurt to accompany all those carb foods that they served. They also seemed to constantly run-out of bottled water in their vending machines, and hardly ever refilled them.
Those things aside, I would reccomend this Econolodge, for a short or long-term stay. Particularly if you're looking to get good value for your money. read more
