    Hair in towel

Nightmare on Morgan hill! Do not believe the pics you see. It just look nice but u will be surprised when you see it, look carefully. I never feel so freak out in any hotel. This is like motel 6, except paying $126 for it! Microwave has food stain on it. Towels look old & stained, I swear there was a stain of a face on one of them! Not to mention a long red hair stuck in another towel. Then was I surprised to find little hairs on the sheet? Geez. As if they never change the sheet & just smooth it out for the next guests. I slept in my jacket cuz I DO NOT want to touch the cover sheets nor the towels. Hell hole to go, never return! I rather sleep in my car next time! Anything good for that place? Yes. The bathroom floor tiles look new!

    Worst bathrooms ever. Disgusting.

AVOID THIS PLACE IF POSSIBLE. After experiencing some car troubles while driving through California, this was the only place with any vacancy. The major travel websites listed rooms here for an average of $80-$90 per night. Rather than book online, I called the hotel first to confirm vacancy. Once I arrived, the owner, a middle eastern man, told me the rate was $289 per night plus tax. I was stuck. I made 18 phone calls to all the other surrounding hotels with no luck. Staying here with my wife and two kids was my only option. I went to pay using my American Express card and was told that their card reader had trouble processing Amex cards. Any other card would be better. Although I had a Visa card, I asked him to please try my Amex first. His response was that the American Express company was going bankrupt and that he wanted me to pay by Visa or cash. I laughed and insisted that he try my Amex card, which of course worked just fine. He finally admitted that Amex charged him higher fees than other credit card companies. Once we entered our room, we noticed a strong perfume scent. It was overwhelming to say the least. I believe it was used to mask the mildew scent in the carpet which was disgusting. The mattresses were very old and offered no support. The pillows were flat as a pancake and hard as a rock. But the kicker was the toilet. It looked like something you'd find at a trucker gas station. Absolutely disgusting. It was filthy and the seat had scratches and gouges on it. Have a look at the photo I posted. I could go on, but I'm sure you get the idea. It was not a pleasant experience. My recommendation is to avoid this place at all costs. I've never felt so ripped off in my life.

ROOM KEY WAS WIDER THAN THE PILLOW My husband and I just arrived to this hotel after a long drive to find that the pillows were HORRIBLE. As the picture shows, our room key was wider than the pillows. I tried bringing the pillows up to the office and a gentleman said that he had no extra pillows and those pillows were what we get. Very disappointed after spending $130 for one night. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, if you absolutely have to stay here bring your own pillows. Even a $2 Walmart pillow would be a million times better than the ones provided. Awful customer service.

Small. But good enough. I paid $77 a night. 7/2014 pillows r flat though. But room is clean.

Yelp has done good with this place. It a good really cheap hotel. Bed is hard and pillows r flat. But tv works u have a table, sink, shower, doesn't stink of smoke, and very live able for a short time. More then 3 days would be hard. But for $65 you can't beat it. No bed bugs. Lady at front desk is nice but slow. If ur accustomed to Hilton's and hyatts then this is not the place for u. If ur a dude who wants a place to sleep at night for cheap then this is ur place. I give it a good rating because it's true to what u hear. This is what I was expecting and this is exactly what I got.

Avoid This Hotel If…read moreI could give this hotel zero stars, I would. I booked a room with one king bed and a pull-out sofa, but when I checked in, I was given a room with only a king bed. When I called the front desk, instead of trying to fix their mistake, I was told I was wrong. There was no apology, no attempt to verify my reservation, and no effort to make things right. I was traveling with my wife and our two toddlers. Because the room didn't have the sleeping arrangements I reserved, my wife and children had to share the king bed while I slept on the floor. When I asked if they could provide a rollaway bed or any reasonable accommodation, I was told they would charge me even more for something that should never have been necessary. The night staff was rude, dismissive, and completely unprofessional. When I asked for the manager's information, the employee refused to provide it and wouldn't even tell me his own name. That's not customer service--it's avoiding accountability. The only employee who treated us with respect was James the next morning. He listened, apologized, and provided the manager's contact information. Unfortunately, despite leaving my information, the manager has never bothered to return my call. To make matters even worse, I was charged more than the price I originally booked the room for, with no clear explanation. This hotel failed at the basics: honoring a reservation, treating guests with respect, resolving a problem they created, and following up afterward. Families should think twice before staying here because if something goes wrong, don't expect anyone to take responsibility. I will never stay at this Hampton by Hilton again, and I strongly recommend looking elsewhere if you expect professionalism, honesty, or even basic customer service.

It is beautifully decorated, clean and super quiet. I always check in the afternoon, and the afternoon manager is wonderful. She is efficient and professional, but also warm and friendly. After I had checked out, I realized that I needed gas. I didn't know the area, didn't have enough gas to make a wrong turn, and I was on a tight schedule. The afternoon manager saved me. She told me about the two options for gas in the area, and explained how to find them in detail so I wouldn't end up wandering around, lost. She was patient, cheerful and understanding. The Morgan Hill Hampton Inn itself is a lovely, well maintained property, but the afternoon manager's kindness and interest in my well being took it to the next level!

This location is super convenient to get to for freeway access. It just off the 101 at Dunne Ave. Turn north on Condit Rd and it right there on the left, next to a McDonald's. The only food around here seems to be fast food chains, so you might have to drive a little to get to real food. Check in was easy, no lost reservations or any other problems. My room was easy to find and the door key worked on the first try, amazing how many times that doesn't work! The room was clean and the WIFI worked fine. That's the first thing I check! Can't do work without that! The bathroom was clean and the water pressure was good, so there's endless hot showers for me! Coffee was available in the lobby as with most IHG properties. After a day of work out on location, I can use a shower and some coffee to get me through he rest of the day and evening. Now I gotta find a place for me and the crew to eat a decent dinner. At least the breakfast here is dependable, all about the same at all the IHG properties. It's a nice decent hot breakfast buffet, all you can eat, and a couple of guys on the crew can really eat! There's potatoes, eggs, omelet thingys and that amusing pancake making machine. Oh those cinnamon rolls are the best, the one thing I look forward to at Holiday Inn Expresses. So far a decent stay, just wish there was better food nearby.

I was very dumbfounded on Yelp how their rating was so high and left me regretting booking here after my experience. When I drove in to their property, I noticed there were barely any guests' vehicles in their parking lot. Even the nice front desk woman that checked me in said it was really slow that night. Here is my breakdown for my 1-night stay. The good 4/5 -Friendly front desk woman that checked me in. -Decent cable TV channels. -Comfortable bed. The Bad 3/5 -Their bathroom fan was really loud. -Their elevator had me second-guessing if I should use the stairs instead because it felt a bit shoddy and was a little bumpy for being only 3 floors. -Excessive noise from vehicles outside. -Dirty showerhead that was not mounted properly. -There were fewer options for breakfast than at their other Holiday Inn Express locations. -Below average juice quality and taste. The Ugly 1/5 I was going to use the bathtub but found some nasty-looking rust or something of the kind. -Their breakfast tasted old; maybe it's from yesterday's leftovers they just reheated due to lack of occupancy. I didn't see any bacon or hash browns or potatoes like other Holiday Inn Express properties. The biscuits were rock-solid hard and super dry, and the sausage links tasted old and not fresh like their egg omelettes. -Coffee tasted a bit sour for some reason, even with 1 pack of sugar and 2 pumps of creamer. -When checking out, I requested the final portfolio, but the morning crew couldn't provide one SMDH. It doesn't matter if guests booked through a third party; it should be available when asked. If I were in the Bay Area again and needed to choose a hotel/motel to stay in, this Holiday Inn Express in Morgan Hill, CA, would not be on my top 10 list.

We started the trip with what I can say was a can't be beat resort stay here. We each had our own king rooms that honestly almost made me hate my own home. From the start of the stay pulling up to the security gate and getting greeted with so much energy and friendliness then being handed a rosemary bag to bring you into the mood. Immediately I knew I would love this place. The valets were great. The lobby staff were great. I was at the resort for two days and I swear I never touched a door to open. My room was ready early which was a bonus and the room. Again just great. Spacious. Ultra clean. All the amenities you could want. Fridge bar area. Fireplace. Sliding double doors to a private patio overlooking a fantastic golf course. Giant bathroom with separate soaking tub that was divine. I could review the golf all by itself. Super nice caddy Jack who it was a pleasure to spend the day working alongside and perfect weather because it can certainly get hot out there. We had a catered private lunch and then we had dinner in the bar area and everything was, you guess it, perfect. I will be back it's just a matter of when.

There are also pickleball, tennis and bocce ball courts and a nice gym! Our room in the resort was very spacious, they were really accommodating with baby amenities for our 15 month old which is always helpful when you're traveling. Cordevalle provided a crib, baby bath tub, baby bath supplies and a diaper genie!
