He added tape and charged me $30 for performing this labor. Never showed me anything that was wrong, told me the tape was warrantied for 90 days again, after the "labor" had already been performed and I was required to pay the additional $30. First time running the machine again, the error is back, nothing was repaired and yet I was charged for this "solution". Very disappointed and the labor fee was not reversed or credited although this action was frowned upon by the manager. I was told it would be "coached". Unprofessional entirely.

My Mother-in-Law's AC went out recently... she contacted her "regular" service provided that she…read morehad used the past couple of years.  When the Tech showed up they informed her that she needed to replace the entire unit due to corrosion.  Now this is the Company that had serviced and conducted "Maintenance" on the unit the past two years and installed a Furnace in September of 2015, still trying to figure out where the disconnect went on there term of Maintenance? Well this company advised her that a new unit would be $5000+ just for parts.  This is where I (Son in-law) stepped in.  I told my mother in law that she had a home warranty service and that I was going to contact them vs her us her "regular" provider which evidently didn't notice corrosion a couple months ago when he serviced the AC / Furnace?   The Warranty Company provided us the number for King Star and we contacted them immediately.  The Tech answered the phone and said that he was in the area and would stop buy with in a couple of hours... now keep in mind this is on a Saturday.  The service tech arrived within two hours, diagnose the condition, contacted the Warranty Company with his diagnoses which was to replace the unit due to corrosion caused from sentiment buildup... (yea.. last provider "Serviced & Maintained" the unit the past couple of years).  Warranty Company advised the Tech that the warranty would not cover replacement because of the condition caused from "Lack of Maintenance."  That's an entire different story that i wish not to get into. King Star Heating & AC quoted my Mother-In-Law $3800 for not only the parts but Labor and a year of Maintenance on the AC & Furnace. (Reg $169/yr)  WOW... that sounds like a GREAT Price... and after Research.. it is a GREAT PRICE!!!  Where do I sign!!! The King Star Tech said he would be back Tuesday to install everything. The Tech show on time and had ALL the components to install without having to leave or comeback another day to finish. He worked VERY hard and had it operational with in 5 hours. I personally talked to the Tech on the phone who sound VERY compassionate, professional and understanding, as my Mother-In-Law is a elderly lady and can be pretty gullible.    After the work was done my mother provided me this feedback to post on Angie's List and Yelp. See Below:  He was excellent! He spent 3 years training people on how to do these installs. He's 53 years old and loves his work. He's very responsible about his work and happy to share what he is doing at the time. I'd highly recommend both him and his company. I found King Star Heating and Air Conditioning in Aurora, Colorado to be very fair and honest in their dealings with me on my new air conditioner.  Everything was explained in detail from the different types and styles of air conditioners down to the prices and benefits and warranties offered on all the units.  The technician stopped by the first evening on his way home and then kept in constant contact with me throughout the process.  He arrived on time, was careful about my home, dressed in a uniform for the company and was exceptionally pleasant, congenial and educational (for me) at all times.  I would highly recommend this company and my technician.

If I could give warning in one line, do not use this company for any of your HVAC needs. We had a air conditioner and air handler installed into our house and I am now having to hire true professionals to get this handled properly. Also the owner has now stopped answering phone calls and this also goes for their new Business Aurora Mechanical and HVAC! "Unethical" I…read morerecently moved from the east coast to Colorado into the home of my fiance. Being unfamiliar with the home we came to learn there were 2 fuse boxes. The outlets in the play room weren't working and we needed assistance to fix them. In comes Genesis with a very nice salesman/electrician who out of the box is selling packages. Beware on this scam approach as an assessment has not even occurred yet and here we start by signing an agreement for $700. The long and short is, we discovered the second fuse panel and all the technician did was flip the switch and the outlets worked. Typically a company charges a fee to arrive and assess and NOT coerce $700 packages before knowing what we're dealing with. Lesson learned, but we'll think otherwise if electrical work is needed when a company after flipping a switch to freshen a fuse still charges you $700. a completely unethical and motive of GREED. Beware Parker Colorado friends and neighbors. BEWARE.
