I would not recommend this company to anyone. Will came out to service my dishwasher on 2/17 and performed "labor" to my dishwasher without even letting me know what was wrong with it.. I was sitting in the same room so there was no excuse for doing this. The "labor" he performed was documented as "adding extra barrier to splash guard". He added tape and charged me $30 for performing this labor. Never showed me anything that was wrong, told me the tape was warrantied for 90 days again, after the "labor" had already been performed and I was required to pay the additional $30. First time running the machine again, the error is back, nothing was repaired and yet I was charged for this "solution". Very disappointed and the labor fee was not reversed or credited although this action was frowned upon by the manager. I was told it would be "coached". Unprofessional entirely. read more

Washer and dryer door flip. I've used this company several times in the past. I found them to be reputable and fair. I've kept their business card in my stack of "good businesses" for years. After purchasing a new washer and dryer set, I wanted the doors rearranged to open as French doors. The appointment was easy to schedule and timely. The tech arrived at 13:02 for a 13:00 appointment. At 13:28, he was out the door. He efficiently and effectively moved the doors in less than 1/2 hour, to the tune of $222.00. I didn't ask for a quote when I scheduled the appointment, I did not ask nor did I receive a quote/estimate before the work began. It never crossed my mind that this service call would amount to essentially $12 EACH FOR THE 18 SCREWS MOVED. In the end, $50 was refunded. GET A QUOTE AT SCHEDULING, GET A QUOTE BEFORE WORK BEGINS. Another business card to the recycling bin. What a shame. read more

We have a 90s built-in refrigerator that came with our house. It was making weird sounds if the door was open for more than 20 seconds, so we decided to have it looked at. I must have called five places before I found one that would even come take a look at it. When I called this company the woman on the phone said they could definitely check it out and that their technicians know a lot about them. The technician called on his way, came exactly on time, and was very knowledgeable and friendly. He thoroughly looked over the fridge and spent the time to make sure he knew what the problem was. He explained everything to me very clearly and even gave me his honest opinion when I asked if it was worth fixing or if I should get a new one. He said once we fixed this problem we probably wouldn't have to worry about anything else for a long time, because it's a quality fridge. We had to wait a few weeks for the part to come in, but when it did they set up another time to come out. Again, the technician was right on time and very nice. From what I could see it was a pretty in-depth job, so it's not surprising that it was on the expensive side. It's been about 3-4 months and the fridge works great! No issues at all, and we're glad we kept it. Big thanks to this company for repairing our fridge and saving us upwards of 8k to buy a new one! read more

The tech was ok. It's the service fee that we were charged. Service fee, I get it and I'm ok with paying a fee. However, we were charged $147.00. Their website clearly states "To dispatch a Technician to your property to do a full diagnostic of the appliance that you need service or repair on, we charge a flat rate of $88.00 for a service call. Once the appliance is diagnosed, your certified Technician will quote you out a price for parts and labor, should you need either. We never charge hourly because each job is so very different." I called and was rudely told "our website is outdated and the charge is now $147". Excuse me, your website is outdated? Ummm, no. That is bad business. She didn't even offer to correct the charge. I'll call someone else next time. read more

Our Kenmore fridge, apparently manufactured by LG, went on the fritz the day before we left for a two week trip to Scotland. The nightmare of finding somewhere to store the food aside, it was an inauspicious beginning to our vacation. When we returned my wife called Sears with the error code, and was sold a $300 part over the phone. I got on HomeAdvisor.com to look for an appliance repair joint, and four or five folks turned me down, saying something about freon and fines and so forth, and two more quoted me prices over $500 to fix it. I got on Yelp, which should have been my first stop, and Complete Appliance Repair scheduled a visit. They repaired my fridge for less than $200 and told us to return the part Sears had sold us. After contacting other appliance repair companies who wanted to charge $109.00 just to show up and then other fees to clean my refrigerator, I contacted Complete Appliance and was told $88.00 for full service cleaning and diagnostic. I specifically asked if the $88.00 included everything and was told it did. Had them perform the service and the service guys were fantastic but the bill was $123.00. I told them I was told it was $88.00 and was told that's the fee just to come out. It's not a huge price difference it is the principal of the matter. Feels dishonest. read more

Complete told me twice that there was nothing wrong with my stove. My burner would cool off in the middle of cooking, but complete said that it was working according to "manufacturer specs." Complete had no interest in my claim that it wasn't working despite "manufacturer specs." I found another company who actually did more than simply measure the amps being put out by the stove. Two parts needed to be replaced, and now I can use that burner again. Not sure why there was a focus on proving me wrong, but I'll take all future business elsewhere. read more

I was told we would receive a free estimate. The guy that came out looked at our LG washer and said he needed to order a part (door gasket) and that it would cost $324.83. When I looked up the SAME part online from the LG website it was only $70. I called back and enquired about why they said the part cost so much and they had could not give me a valid reason. My washing machine broke. After calling around to find the first available repair company, I landed on a next-day appointment with Complete Appliance Repair. They failed, but they get a bonus star because the customer service was awesome. The scheduler and the field technician were really nice to work with. But since they couldn't get the job done I spent an extra week shuffling dirty baby clothes to friend's and family's houses while I waited for a part I ended up installing myself in just a few minutes. The tech showed up on time and was able to diagnose the problem in less than five minutes. He walked me through the issue, showing me the damaged part(s) in question. It was clear that the edges had worn off a rotor. He said that we would be better off buying a new machine than fixing it, but that for $20 he'd use some high grade epoxy - but that he'd never done that before and had no idea if it would work. Before I agreed I specifically asked if we could just try replacing the rotor (as opposed to both the rotor and the spider/drum), since he was able to take that off in less than 5 minutes, but he said it wouldn't work because both parts were too worn. So I accepted my fate, paid $80 for the visit + epoxy and crossed my fingers while I waited a day for it to set. No joy. It didn't even kind-of-work. I took off the back panel and aside from a small mess, the condition was totally unchanged. Since the tech was able to show me the problem, a quick internet search led me to a parts dealer with lots of videos and reviews. Based on those reviews I ordered the part, replaced it in just a few minutes and we've been back in action for about a month now without issue. Maybe the other part will fail next, but some high resolution images of new versions of that part indicate that this one is in pretty good shape. read more

Terrible customer service! After my basement flooded due to a botched repair on my washing machine, I waited months to attempt to resolve the issue with the wife of the owner. Who said she could and would handle the repairs without going through insurance. After 2 months of "working" with her, she decided I was no longer a priority and neither was the damage caused by the botched job their technician did. As, she told me I needed to be more patient, and "I could figure it out myself, if I couldn't be more patient". This problem eventually was handled through my home owner's insurance, as a great deal of repair needed to be done to my basement. Repair, that was not going to be completed otherwise. I ended up having to have my washing machine repaired again along with an extensive remodel job, all from hiring this company to begin with. I would recommend them to no one. read more

I really can't say enough about these guys. I was able to get an appointment quickly. The repairman, Jason, was courteous and worked quickly. He explained the issue and fixed it quickly for a good rate. 3 weeks later, my dishwasher had another issue and Jason was back out a few days later. The new issue was fixed within minutes and I wasn't charged as their work is warrantied for 90 days after a repair. If you're questioning whether to use this business, don't. I spoke with Jayson on the phone about a couple issues with different appliances. The main issue was a microwave that wasn't heating (magnetron failed) and he recommended replacing it instead of trying to repair due to the cost. Several of the issues turned out to be because I wasn't familiar with the operation. Finally, the dryer hadn't been drying clothes all the way. I explained that I recently cleaned a ton of lint out of the vent, but hadn't heard my girlfriend complaining since, so he recommended waiting to see how things went before spending any money for them to diagnose. The point is, sometimes an honest professional opinion to save your money is the best advise. If and when I need any further appliance repairs, these guys will be my first call for sure!
