I purchased a stove Labor Day. That was a month and a half ago a they still can't find one to get it to me. They have every excuse in the book. They go far have come up with about 4 different excuses why they can't find one. Well, they had one right there in the store. How hard is this? I am about ready to go to my credit card company and call it fraud because we were told we could have the stove 6 weeks ago. The people in the store keep passing the blame to other people, but nobody is willing to resolve the issue. the value was OK but I could've done about the same at Home Depot and I now I wish I would've. I've purchased from this company before and had small issues: delivery times not being accurate, or forgetting water lines that I have purchased, but nothing major. Sometimes the delivery team is a 3rd party sub contractor - not the end of the world. This round was the final round. Ordered a fridge online to only find out 'it just sold but I have a better version just $300 more ready to go'. Okay fine, I wanted a decent product let's do it. Call and talk to Mike and get it ordered - never received an invoice/email so confirmed with him I was on the delay list for the next day. he confirmed. No call, no text and the crew shows up at 7:00a as I'm getting ready to take my son to school. We'll roll with it bc I haven't had a fridge in over a week. Crew comes up and before they even walk in the house they say it will not fit through the door. I've lived here 26 years and had many a fridge. We can get it in (same size as previous models). I say no problem, I take my front door off the hinge and tell them we just have to remove the doors on the fridge like we've done 3-4 times previously. Oh my goodness you would have thought I asked this dude for his first born. He goes on and on an on that there is a waterline (duh) but now computer chips and wires and you need a special tool to 'snake' the wires through. He states "the only way to get this in would be to take off the trim that seals your screen door and he's not doing that". After confirming MULTIPLE times that the doors of the fridge cannot come off - they give me a measurement and tell me I can only get a fridge that has a depth of 28". I look online and cannot find anything really practical for that dimension so I call Mike back and he confirms - finding a fridge less that 28" in depth will be hard. So going off the statement that if I take the trim off my door this will work, I tell Mike that I will take the trim off if they can reschedule for tomorrow. Fast forward 4 hours - one trip to Home Depot- a new oscillating tool and my door frame is off aka completely jacked up, looks like beavers on meth got to it - BUT NOW A FRIDGE WILL FIT. The next day (after no call to announce a window OR text to say they were on their way) another team shows up and guess what the first thing they tell me is - the fridge will not fit. OH I FORGOT TO MENTION - I emailed and texted Mike and the delivery team pictures, dimensions and a VIDEO of my door and they say taking the trim off will work (they just won't do it). As my soul starts to leave my body - I show the guy all the pictures of measuring the door frame yada yada. And after he takes me on the truck to continue to show me the fridge is too big - I show him my photo of my door frame being measured at 30" he has an epiphany and tells me "WE CAN TAKE THE DOORS OFF AND GET IT IN BUT IT WILL CAST YOU AN ADDITINAL $25). The real kicker - with the doors of the fridge off - it would have fit the first day with out jacking up my door frame. (it was 29.5" prior) Waste of time, waste of money, waste of a decent door frame. NEVER AGAIN! Shame on you boys!!! read more

We ordered a brand-new washer from Appliance Factory over a week ago because they had it in stock and could deliver soonest. Unfortunately, the unit delivered to us was broken. Since then, we've spent over a week trying to get a resolution and have experienced unprofessional, unhelpful, and at times rude customer service. Communication has been consistently poor: calls and messages go unanswered or are met with dismissive responses. With a toddler at home and no functioning washer, this has caused significant inconvenience and stress. We chose Appliance Factory for speed and reliability, but have received neither. We strongly urge Appliance Factory to make this right immediately by delivering a new, working washer or issuing a full refund without delay. Until then, we cannot recommend this company. I tried to purchase a replacement washer and dryer from them and experienced the following: 1) a used, out of box delivery that looked like it was put through a wood chipper (delivery rejected) 2) a new, out of box delivery that looked like it had been hit with a sledgehammer (delivery rejected) 3) one delivery appointment missed 4) a new, 2 in 1 washer/dryer delivery that was delivered, but had damage to the water entry point threads (delivered, but needed to return AFTER IT FLOODED WATER INTO MY LAUNDRY ROOM) 5) after negotiating with a very kind, helpful sales associate named Spencer, the district manager (Jeff Bock) reneged on the deal I had made and basically told me to go f*#% myself. Purchased a dishwasher on sale on their website only to be informed 2 days later that they didn't have any locally and if I wanted the dishwasher I would need to pay over $200 more. They did have the same model in a warehouse out of state but they expected me to pay freight (also $200). I missed a sale for the same model and same price at Best Buy (I chose appliance factory outlet because they had lower installation costs). I was informed that their website was not connected to a live server. They wasted my time and caused me to miss out on a competitor's offer. I am a landlord but am out of the country. My tenants refrigerator needed replacing. Rather than make a mistake by ordering online , I called appliance factory to speak with a manager to make sure I was ordering the right size. He made a few errors while ordering but went back and changed them. I was assured I would be receiving a new refrigerator for $1200+ My tenants were at home for the delivery. The refrigerator was not new it had dings on either side of the unit but I decided there was not any visible damage so they could go ahead and install it. The delivery guys left and my tenants called me back to say that it was not counter depth and if I was aware that it stuck out fairly far. I immediately called the store manager back to say he had sent me the wrong one. He said that he could get me the one I wanted for an additional $700 plus I would have to pay a restocking fee of 50% for the first refrigerator that he got wrong. The drivers were rude called me a bitch and promised to return the next day with the new washer bc the one they had for me was dinged. They lied. A nightmare- bought a dishwasher Feb 2 $759, and paid onal $199 for extended warranty. Three attempted delivery/installation--- each time a screw up, now 3 weeks later- no dishwasher. First attempt, was told to replace the water shut off valve, which we did the next day- which later another installer said "why didn't the last installer do it himself, he could have". A week later they show up to install- but didn't bring the dishwasher because of a clerical error on their part. Three weeks later, delivery shows up, and tells us the new dishwasher is damaged. Purchased a LG refrigerator from the Colorado Blvd store on March 26, 2017 with a matching price guarantee. Also purchased their four-year Brand Source maintenance program. The matching price guarantee is a joke. Within the 30 day period, Home Depot put the identical LG refrigerator on sale for 40% off. I contacted our salesman at the store, John Gwidt who said he had seen the ad and would give be a credit of just less than $500. When nothing happened, I called again and he said he forgot but would handle it. Again, nothing so I called the president's complain line. I was told I was only eligible for a $300 credit and they would pay it to my credit card. When nothing happen again, they told me they no longer featured this credit card so they couldn't access it. Multiple calls over the year, the credit was soon reduced to less than $200 and again no credit was given. Now they say because I paid off the credit they will give me no credit. Brand Source Repairs is a equal joke. Our refrigerator broke exactly one year after purchase. Called them, they didn't have the part in stock so it took a week to get it. Then they said the earliest they could do the repair was ten days out. The day before the repair appointment, they called to say they ordered the wrong part. After another week the part came in and they again said it would be over a week before a repair person could come. Obviously, they sell these warranties but fail to keep the staff and in-stock parts to fulfill the promised service. read more

We ordered a new refrigerator in March, we understood it was on back order and delivery would take about a month. So now all the memorial day sales have passed. On 9/18/23 my elderly parents age 87 and 90 bought a new washer. It was delivered on the 22nd, on 23rd mom tried to wash; no hot water coming out. She called & was told no one could come to look at it until 27th. On 26th someone called and asked for serial & model number, mom gave it to them, then she was told no one would come on 27th cause part needed to be ordered for repair. Mom said no, I want replacement or refund and hung up. Mom & dad went to store 3 times on 27th, 28th & 29th and spoke to store manager two of those times. Long story short manager said it is out of his hands and higher ups only willing to provide repair. My parents didn't buy a used washer, they purchased a brand NEW washer that is defective. Mom called the President's Hotline on 27th & 28th and never received a return call. Appliance factory is trying to scam my elderly parents with defective merchandise. Next steps are to have credit card charges reversed, post complaint with BBB, send email to 7 News Investigates to have them look into the despicable business practices of AF and how they try to scam elderly and vulnerable individuals. I have bought appliances here 3 times over the years and I will never buy from them again! read more

All said and done I ultimately think I got a good deal on a new dishwasher, but I gotta say it really wasn't worth the hassle. They had the item in stock and I could install it the next day. Offered a "like new" item to be picked up at the warehouse in Thornton - upon inspection is was anything but like new...salesman offered a new in box for a few dollars more, still a good deal so OK all this has cost now is about an hour. Installed new dishwasher but decided to run it before pushing it into place and the TUB is leaking (This is NOT Appliance Factory's issue) called the store a few phone calls and an email with pictures later they agree to exchange. Replacement item to be at the store Tuesday morning, now I'm told it should be there by 2. I've wasted much more time then the money I saved. Jhon was super helpful and did what he could. Lies, deceit, changing the pricing, adding strange upcharges, - all in all its just a huge hassle for what they call "unboxed" appliances which is really damaged appliances that the manufactures have probably written off and they have bought in bulk for pennies on the dollar and are selling at huge margins. But there is no good deal here for the customer, its an endless hassle dealing with them. My experience with Jhon (not a typo -- that's how he spells it) was phenomenal. I bought an old (1963 building) condo in Denver that needs a lot of work, including all-new kitchen appliances. I looked forever online for a fridge that would fit into my very unique refrigerator "hole," without having to totally redo my cabinets, and came up with one and only one: a particular-model, particular-measurement, European-made Summit fridge. Home Depot sells it, so I called them and was told by the guy in their appliance department at the Glendale store that, yes, they sell it, but they wouldn't deliver and install it if I ordered it online, which was the only way I could buy it from Home Depot. Swell. So I drove a couple miles to this oddly named, strange-looking store on Colorado Blvd. just south of MLK Blvd. and asked for "Jhon," who I knew from further online research "knows everything about appliances." The first thing I asked Jhon was whether they sold this particular Summit fridge. Yes. And do they install it? Yes. And can they meet the Home Depot price? Yes. (So far so good.) And can you sell and install all the other new kitchen appliances (GE, not Summit) I need, for the same prices quoted by Home Depot? Yes. This was a no-brainer. Jhon was so friendly and easy to deal with that I gave this company all the business I would have given Home Depot if only they had been more willing and able to be helpful. The appliances haven't been delivered and installed yet, but I promise to update this review if the rest of the story isn't also 5-star. read more

Disappointed. Next time, stick w big box stores that stand behind their delivery & product. Bought new Electrolux dryer, spent a lot of $$ that was not in our budget for retired ppl. First delivery not go well, they did not have parts, reschedule. Got it installed & set up. Dries great, but something is off inside. Loads go against door & get caught in door grooves. Makes a thumping noise like drum is off center. It checks out w our level as fine, but it is not. Now...you start the game. Store says we should have bought a warranty, Electrolux only says to put a wedge under machine, we cannot lift it to do this and don't know how anyway. Now we cannot get a hold of Electrolux. Turns out that the appliance store does NOT install, it outsources so they are not responsible for machine once it's installed UNLESS you paid for a warranty. The store says the installers will likely charge us for repairs if we ever get a hold of them. So....next time go w big box and make sure they guarantee install & product. Feel cheated. This whole experience has been HORRIBLE! I only give it 1 star so this could post. The buying experience gets the 1 star I suppose. We were talked at during the hole time we were there about what washer and dryer we would buy. It was a decent deal but nothing worth anyones time, you could go anywhere else and spend $50-$100 more for a better experience! We paid extra for the gentlemen to install them when they were delivered, along with new steal hoses for the water. When they arrived to install them they didn't install them where we asked and they also didn't install both hoses and when they tried to remove the HOT water hose they broke it, and then left. We went down to use the laundry and noticed water and called Appliance Factory in Thorton right away. They gave us the run around for 2 weeks before we got someone to come look at it. When he came out he said he couldn't fix the hose issue as he was only able to look at the washer and fix any issues with the actual washer and we needed a plumber but that was a different department. We called Appliance factory back and again 3 weeks later someone came out to look at it, again wrong department. I then had a plumbing company come out to look at the part to give us a bid on how much it would cost for us to get this resolved ($500) we are now at almost 2 months on this and NO ONE is ever available, NO ONE ever calls back, and NO ONE has come up with a solution to fix this! Super disappointed at how horrible this experience has been, as someone who has been in the customer service industry for over 15 years this is by far the worst! read more

Purchased a new Bosch dishwasher ... when it was delivered the tech could not install it. The previous dishwasher installed by appliance factory was improperly done and they are not willing to correct the issue. I have made 3 calls to the store and 2 to the corporate office and NOTHING!!! They are not willing to own what they did nor offer assistance to remedy. Sadly, I purchased my stove, refrigerator, microwave, and dishwasher. I actually called Appliance Factory at 2816 Colorado Boulevard just to ask a technical question no salesperson at BAC or Specialty Appliance could answer. However, I happened to speak to Steve and he was so thorough, straightforward, logical, and low-pressure that I ended up electing to buy from him. He was also able to connect us with an installer/cabinetry service which was essential because we needed to run a gas line for our new range. Appliance Factory and Mattress Kingdom is a great place to shop. The key for me is being immediately greeted when I walk through the door. The sales people get right down to business. I like that. I also like that they actually know what they are talking about. John W. helped me the first time and Andres M. on my second visit. My on-line research was good, but confirmed in person. Last year I bought a dishwasher and this year I bought a refrigerator. The installation service is farmed out to another company but this too seems to be something they understand. And that would be not dropping the ball in the hand-off from seller to installer, even though they are different companies. I like that they are upfront about delivery times and fees. They were able to apply a discount to the same on both purchases. Generally I would recommend this appliance store to anyone looking for an above average shopping experience. I was also able to take advantage of some sale pricing, which seems to be running a fair amount of the time. read more
