One of the highest rated was Ultra Carwash, and it was close by. I liked the fact, Ultra Carwash was not on the main drag, nor was it at a busy intersection creating havoc. The quality overall, was a decent car wash and the vehicle looked good once we got through to the other end. I was hoping they had hand drying like some of the other car washes in the area. Price was a bit higher than some of the others with hand drying. Pros and cons in all we do in life, huh? If I happen to be in the area again and my vehicle needs a scrub down, I will be returning to Ultra Carwash.

And they actually do a good job with it. It's always the exterior wash that they always leave spots off. Most of the car will be washed mechanically, so if you're going to finish things off by hand, I would think they'd know to get in the hard-to-get spots like around the wiper base, or under the caves around the plates. But they never do. Despite doing a good job with vacuuming though, they again, always seem to leave many spots off inside, too. They generally focus on very visible areas and lack details on not so visible areas. Didn't help that they've slowly been raising prices, too. When it was slightly cheaper, I was more inclined to let things go, but now it's starting to get to me...

This is just your average car wash, but every time I have gone to see them, they have done an excellent job. When you drive into the location and veer towards the car wash, you are politely greeted by one of the attendants. You tell them what you want, and that's about it. If you are like me, and do a lot of highway driving, then you probably have bugs on the front of your car. Each time I go I asked them to use the pressure wash on the front of my car to try and get some of those bugs off, and it usually works. After you are done with your wash, you drive your car around toward the exit where you are greeted by someone who will dry your car. Now, I know we have all been there where you are not sure if you should tip, how much you should tip, how you're going to be if you are "that guy". Well, the Village Auto Spot does not allow for tipping so you don't have to worry about that awkward moment. Next to the spot where you get your car dried there is a two car garage where you can get extra services. I have never used any of their services as I usually wax my own car, but when I have a peek inside it always looks very nice in there. Also, while you are waiting for your car you can go and wait in their lobby... or so it seems. Either that, or there are just random people standing in their lobby looking over at the detailing spot. As a side note, if you go before 10 AM you can get a dollar off. Five dollars for their basic wash is a pretty good deal!

Depending on who is working at the various Expresso Car Wash locations, I always ask to ensure bugs are taken care of; the wheels; back window of the cab; and tailgate get some attention. There are a few of the staff members who are very good and others not so good at honoring this request. Value & Quality of services rendered varies with each visit, wished there was a way to have all staff members perform at same level like going to a your favorite fast food establishment - you get the same product regardless of which location you go to. Seems as if the Toledo has become the mecca for car washes almost like Starbucks in affluent communities practically having a storefront on every corner...

The high pressure nozzle that goes back and forth was not working properly, it got stuck on the driver side position and water got into my dashboard due to a constant flow of high pressure water seeping through. Short circuited some dashboard components. Even the manager said that the high pressure nozzle was stuck at the time and video images caught the time of my washing that the equipment was not working properly.
