He then assured me of its good condition and advised me to set up an appropriate maintenance schedule in order to save me money in the future. This is the second time that he has come to my assistance concerning water heaters. I highly recommend him!

The upstairs air conditioner stopped working 5/18/26 after having been used eariler in the year during a brief heat wave. We were referred to Lens and quickly called. They showed up same day to inspect our unit. They looked at it for less than a minute before proceeding to put on a show for my elder parents. Ray explained that the motor to the unit was bad and how expensive motors are. He explained that our unit was 20 years old and who knows what else could be wrong with it. That we needed the motor to check for underlying problems and the motor itself would cost us $3000. If the air conditioner was 6-7 years younger they would recommend to put the motor in but with the age of the unit and the 'unseen' problems it wouldn't be 'cost effective' and that we should opt to buy an entire air conditioning system instead. I asked what that would cost. They said, depends on the unit but anywhere between $11,000 - $35,000. Ray would set us up with a consultation with an expert that would take over an hour and that all family members must be present because it's a 'big decision' to make. The consultant could even be here later that afternoon if we wanted. He charged us $200 for that scam visit. We smiled, thanked him and set it up for the next day and when he walked out the door we immediately called more HVAC companies. We found Universal Heating and Air conditioning instead. Tom came out the next day. The best thing for Lens is that they were correct that it was the motor that was bad, as Tom confirmed. But instead of the scare tactics/fear mongering Ray employed Tom simply said, let me call my guy and get a motor, if he has one I'll put it in today. Turned out the motor had to be ordered but instead of the egregious $3000 Lens tried to charge us, Tom quoted $1600 instead, including the install. It had to be ordered and when in, he returned promptly to install it. The price remained the same. My house is cooling as I type and fun fact the motor comes with a one year warranty. So I hope everyone who sees this review sees what a scam Lens is. They pray on the elderly. They took one look at the property, the area, the fact that our house has a 2 unit central air system and thought they could take my parents for a $35,000 ride. Get out of here Lens. You're one big scam!

I am writing to express my extreme frustration and disappointment regarding the tankless water…read moreheater your company installed at my property. We have spent 2 years dealing with inconsistent hot water, since you installed a new tankless water heater and as of now, we have no hot water again. This has been an ongoing issue; the original unit was installed just over 2 years ago and was replaced only a year later with the same model. Given that the replacement unit is now failing as well, it is clear that this specific model is unreliable. We are requesting a replacement with a completely different model to resolve these persistent issues once and for all

DO NOT HIRE OR SO BUSINESS WITH THE LIARS AND THIEVES!!! IF…read moreI could give them negative stars, I would. And here are the reasons why I would give them negative stars. 1. Overpriced. It cost me over 600.00 dollars for a new anchor bolt installed. Then, I was quoted 1,800 for a basin replacement.... And I had to provide the basin 2. Poor quality of work. My tech Destin obviously did not know what he was doing. Not only did he not only not change the flange, install a new seal, caulk the toilet, he didn't even tighten the toilet down!!!!! I called because I saw my anchor was rusted away and the toilet was rocking.... My toilet is still rocking and now my toilet is having issues flushing. 3. Customer service. I have called times. Every time the very nice dispatchers would apologize for the inconvenience and say that they were trying to contact the manager. I was told that the manager would call me back soon. And guess what, he still hasn't. I am truly disappointed in a Christian.
