We go here quite a bit, pretty consistent. They have all the normal things you would expect. A couple of the servers are terrible and won't fill your drinks unless you ask. Food is good though and that's what we go for. Plenty of seating. Half price for kids under 12!

Service was amazing, was able to get a table fast. We are from outta town & it's nothing like what we have, the food was pretty good as well & the restaurant itself looks very unique 10/10 recommend

Food was ok, not great but not horrible either. My shock came with the bill. $21.49 for a single buffet is pretty pricey for the quality of food they are serving. If it was piping hot and excellent quality great. Egg drop soup was cold, Rangoon's hard and cold. And they want to charge $21.49.

Food was old. 25$ a person is wayyyy to expensive for this low quality food. Everything tastes stale.

Read my previous review. The back-bone of this restaurants' customer base were long-time older locals from GJ, who had grown used to the personalities of these ladies, some of them having worked here for 13+ years. The new owner deceived the employees that they would retain their jobs, meanwhile training a whole new staff he could pay at a lesser wage. He then methodically fired (not laid off) all the veteran waitstaff right before Thanksgiving. I hope that this incident is the first thing that pops up whenever someone Googles RAUL & CATHY WOLF. The price was moderate, about $10.99 each. It was an all-you-can-eat buffet, with a good selection of mostly American classics. The food quality was mediocre, and the atmosphere was contemporary hotel lobby. Still, the convenience factor made it a good choice. There was also a free breakfast buffet provided for hotel guests which included various hot and cold breakfast items. Breakfast was probably better than the dinner. I can see some items would be better than others. If you get the broccoli with beef (it is not labeled beef and broccoli), you will get more broccoli than beef. But it is really nice broccoli and the sauce is well flavored. The chicken teriyaki was a little dry, but the sauce was great. I cut the meat smaller and then it was fine for me. The pork and mushrooms was loaded with fresh mushrooms. I really think you cannot do better for the money. I have eaten in a few other GJ Chinese spots that were not as tasty and way more expensive. So, this place will be my go-to for Chinese American cravings.

I was worried when it didn't look the same (looks like Spanish rice) but holy heck did it taste just like I remembered from my GJHS/college days! I came in for the nostalgia, wary of the recent reviews, but was very pleased in that while it may not be the exact same, it is still the absolute best spot for a cheap Chinese meal. I also showed up only 10 minutes before close and the woman working the counter was kind and smiling- she was sweet and the food was good. $7 for 2-3 meals is amazing! Plus they still have the sugar hot buns!!

For a place tucked away on the Western Slope, the quality, consistency, and friendliness have always felt like a hidden gem. Over the years we've dined in and done plenty of takeout, and the food has almost always been flavorful, hot, and comforting. Favorites like the sweet-and-sour chicken, lo mein, Mongolian beef, soups, and egg rolls have been reliably delicious, and the staff has consistently been warm, welcoming, and genuinely kind. You really feel that family-run pride when you walk in -- from the calm atmosphere to how quickly and thoughtfully everything is served. Like many longtime customers, we've noticed a few changes recently with ownership and packaging, and on a couple of visits the portions or consistency didn't feel quite as strong as they used to be. That said, we truly believe this place still has the heart, recipes, and potential that made it such a favorite for so many years -- and we're rooting for them. Running a small restaurant today is no easy task, and we appreciate the effort that goes into keeping a local business alive and thriving. Dragon Treasure is still a place we happily recommend to friends passing through town, and we'll continue supporting them. With a little fine-tuning, it has all the ingredients to remain one of Fruita's best comfort-food spots for many years to come. A genuinely good local restaurant run by kind people -- and definitely worth stopping in for.
