After sitting down with the sales agent, he asked if my husband would be joining us. So condescending right off the bat. Do you ask solo male clients if their wife is coming? I test drove the car , and other than this comment all was well. I was not ready to purchase today as I am testing a few models and want to be informed. I told the salesman this and that I would be in touch. He then told me I could take the car home tonight and come back with payment on Monday. I said"so I can try out the car? Would I be signing any paperwork?" He said, "yes you'd be signing all the paperwork." I said, "I'm not doing that". As I rose to leave, he stopped me and said he wanted to give me his card. I waited, and he came back with his boss who also tried to get me to sign paperwork tonight. The boss guy also inferred that taking out a loan when you are not sure that your first loan was paid off would be a perfectly reasonable and same thing to do. This is predatory. Would I have been taken seriously if I had my husband with me? Maybe? But I'm paying for this car so he's not a required participant in the sales aspect. I visited the Elmhurst dealership on 07/18/2026 and had a concerning interaction with an individual who identified himself as the service manager. Despite my scheduled appointment, he refused to assist with the issue and stated that he was overbooked and sending customers home. He also refused to provide his name and approached me in a manner that felt threatening. Because he would not identify himself, I took a photo for documentation. Based on his conduct, I do not believe he should be working with the public and should be disciplined appropriately. Buying a car for most people (including me) can be a stressful experience. It's hard to wade through all of the different models and options and prices. After a ton of research, I made a decision to purchase an electric vehicle, but also needed something large enough to carry any combination of four grandchildren and/or two dogs and family and friends. After doing my homework, I am so happy that I chose to purchase an EV9 from Napleton Kia in Elmhurst. I decided on the Kia EV9 because of its safety rating, size, and electric design. I went on a quest to locate one close by in Chicago where I live. I went to a Chicago dealership, but they didn't have any in stock and the salesperson was not very knowledgeable about EVs in general. After a long hunt, I found the vehicle and trim I was looking for at Napleton Kia in Elmhurst. I researched the VIN number to learn where it was made (in the US!) and called to set up a time to see it the next morning. My salesperson, Drinor Haziri, was outstanding. He took me for a test drive and immediately showed he was not only very knowledgeable about this particular vehicle, but about EV cars in general. He offered a comparison of other options, including the Acura ZDX, also available at their dealership. In the end, it was the size, strong ride and mileage capacity in the EV9 that sold me. Drinor never pressured me, but offered the sales approach that served me best. The next step in the process (which is usually the most painful) was the finance office. My sales manager, Marius, was phenomenal. Again, very knowledgeable, but most important he was very transparent in the process. He had a clear picture of my financial situation and personal considerations and helped me make a sound decision. When I showed him a comparable price at a dealership 100 miles away, he matched it. Financing was quick and painless. I also appreciated how easy it was to reach him, even after the sale. I think Marius may have moved to a different dealership, but even now, when I had a question, I was able to reach a different finance manager at Napleton, Kissy, and she helped me immediately. But the highlight of my experience, the icing on the cake, was working with Martin. He is their 'closer', making sure each new owner is knowledgeable and prepared about the workings of their car before they leave. I have never owned an electric car and he taught me about charging and adaptive driving/breaking and all of the systems in my new EV9. I have returned twice on my own to meet with him to continue learning about various components of the car. Having him part of my purchase process made all the difference in my satisfaction going forward. This man is a hidden gem!! I have owned my EV9 (now named "Zeus") for nearly a year. I absolutely love this car and the way it drives, and have not had a single issue with it. If I do, I feel confident Kia Napleton will make it right. My wife and I have been passively searching for a larger vehicle since we just had a baby and some of our neighbors recommended looking into the Kia Telluride. My intial search on autotrader showed listings of $38.8k for new 2025 Tellurides at Elmhurst Kia, so I reached out directly to them via email to see if the pricing was correct and to get an out-the-door pricing model. The internet sales rep said that they only do that in person, which was a red flag for me because I have received quotes in the past inclusive of doc fees and taxes for our other vehicles. I scheduled a time to come in over the weekend and was assigned to sales rep Jason Seo. I showed him the advertised price online and sure enough, he said I didn't qualify for the 'dealer discounts' and the base price for me went from $38.8k to $43k. When you advertise car sales this way, I'm sure you get more foot traffic but good luck selling vehicles and making commissions. Fortunately, a week later I had sent the same requests via email to Willowbrook Kia and they provided all OTD prices within hours. I went in again over the weekend, spoke to my sales rep whom I had been in contact with and five minutes later, signed the exact same contractual quotes we had already discussed over email. No deceptive practices or hidden dealer discounts / rebates and both of our time was used efficiently. UPDATE: Original review is from Saturday, 12/13. I called back today, Monday 12/15 and a sales associate let me know that the vehicle is still there and for sale. This dealership is violating multiple consumer protection laws, including Section 5 (15 U.S.C./45, CFR Part 238 (A dealership engages in bait-and-switch if it advertises or holds out a vehicle, then claims it's unavailable, not for sale, or already sold, when that's not true, and uses that claim to steer the consumer to another vehicle), and FTC Act Act/5 - Unfairness Prong (Even without deception, the conduct may be unfair if it causes substantial consumer injury (wasted time, coerced upsell), consumers cannot reasonably avoid it, and there is no countervailing benefit to consumers or competition) When I called back today, I was guaranteed this same car I asked about on Saturday was available, and the salesperson scheduled an appointment for me to see it tomorrow. This causes me wasted time and I cannot reasonably avoid it, since both the website and a salesperson have told me the car is available for sale. I was very clear in my message: I wanted an out-the-door price and was ready to buy the car that evening. I even shared competitive offers I had from two other dealerships and explained I had excellent credit with no trade or cash down--everything they needed to provide a price. The response I got was shocking. The salesperson told me that the sales manager "has to work everyone in the showroom over first" and that if I wanted anything done that night, I'd have to come into the store. They also added, "If we still have the car early next week, someone can reach out." What customer wants to hear that they need to be "worked over"? Buying a car is exhausting enough without being treated like a chess piece. This attitude shows a complete lack of respect for customers' time and priorities, especially for someone ready to finalize a deal. I only come here when my car has a recall. This is my 2/3 time going to this location. I tried scheduling online, but it kept giving an error that there were no appointments. I had to call to schedule. The person I scheduled with said that I would need to leave my car for the whole day, but they offered a shuttle service if I lived within 10 miles. 3 days later, when I came for my appointment, the mechanic said that they no longer offer the shuttle service. I would have to wait 3-4 hours in a room playing Dr. Phil, or find a ride. I had to take an Uber home. If they didn't lie to me on the phone, I would've scheduled on a day where I would have a ride home. There is clearly a miscommunication in this dealership, and the website clearly hasn't been updated in weeks. The website still offers shuttles when trying to schedule for service. welp, the reviews are mostly correct. I've been shopping a 2025 Kia Telluride. Napleton had the best price on cars.com at $31,400. I know that that price includes a few incentives that I do not qualify for including active or retired military. however, I have been texting with the dealership for the past week and a half, and I've asked what the actual best I could get. I was told the Internet price is the best price without coming into the dealer, but if I came in, they would discuss reasonable offers. I made an appointment this morning at 9 o'clock and showed up with hopes of purchasing the vehicle. My sales rep was Syed. For the record, he was incredibly pleasant and polite. I gave the salesman a stock number for the vehicle and he found it. Gave him all my contact information and drivers license which is fine. I understand that. He listed out a bunch of categories of incentives that went into the Internet and told me I would not qualify for some of them. I agreed. I was very clear that I was not interested in any of the dealer add-ons like wheel locks, paint, protection, etc. he understood, and ultimately went to the other room to get a price. He returned with a $42,000 for a car that was advertised at included $500 in factory installed wheel locks... Something you can get for 25 on Amazon. When I told him I was not interested, he asked me to tell him what I was willing to pay. I explained I wasn't going to go there as I had a very simple ask of what is the lowest price they would sell it for and they came back essentially at MSRP despite much lower advertising and a text exchange indicating they would go even lower. I am certain it's not just them, but frustrating enough for me to post to let everyone know there is absolutely validity to the bait and switch. It is not lost on that these guys are trying to run a business and make as much money as they can. I get it, I just bought my kids a bunch of Christmas presents with my personal profits. AVOID THIS DEALERSHIP AT ALL COSTS!!!!! I bought a car from this dealership last year and initially held off on leaving a review, but after my experience, I feel it's necessary. From the moment my family and I walked in, we were completely ignored--no greeting, no acknowledgment. We had to approach the receptionist ourselves, and even after informing him we had an appointment, he couldn't have cared less and just told us to go to the next store. When we got there, the first salesperson assigned to us was friendly and new, but then they switched us to a so-called "experienced" salesperson who was just straight-up rude. I had to ask the manager to switch us back, but the overall customer service was garbage. As for the car itself, I knew a used vehicle would need some maintenance, but the condition it was sold in was unacceptable. They handed it over with a rusted license plate bolt, and when I asked them to remove it, they tried to charge me--even though that's how they gave me the car. I had to take time off work and make multiple trips. They also didn't bother to fill up the gas tank. But the biggest issue? The car was sold to me with major hidden damage to the quarter panel, which was covered up with Bondo and a terrible paint job. I was just informed that I now need to replace the entire quarter panel--despite the Carfax being "clean." When I initially pointed out the cracks to the salesman, his response was: "It is what it is." On top of that, the price listed online is not the real price. I paid like $1500 on top of the price listed online before any taxes or license fees. To close the deal they took like 5 hrs, we were at the dealership 5:30 pm left around 11pm. Service Department has a shitty assistant manager named Luis. Don't let him check your car in unless you want your car to sit outside all day and not be serviced at all. I had an appointment and waited nearly 4 hours. At closing time they tell me my car wasnt even touched. He claims he forgot about it. So I had to tell him how to do his job the second time around and he got loud and mouthy with me as if he was trying to intimidate someone, but I wasnt. Fraudulent, sexist, bait & switch tactics. Extremely disappointing. I had done my research, made an appointment to see 2 new 2025 SUVs that I was deciding between: the Telluride & the Sorento. I showed up for my appointment and they gave me a new inexperienced salesperson to help me. I am a 47F, to help paint the picture. I was ready to make a purchase, but needed more info on the vehicles, so I asked to speak with a more knowledgeable sales person. He brought in Angel to help me. They told me they had a new 2025 telluride SX in blue, which is what i was looking for, but their sales manager had been using it, so it just needed to be detailed. They gave me an offer of $51,600 for this "new" telluride. They negotiated down -$1000 & increased my trade in value to $13,500 (it was valued at $15k on KBB). I went home to think on it and used the VIN & stock # to look up the car just to look at the features again, etc. Turns out they were doing a bait&switch on me with a 2024 Telluride, valued on their website at $45,924, and selling it to me at a great deal of $51,600 (the price of the new 2025 telluride i was asking for). Total CON artists. Even their sales manager was in on the deal and pushing me to buy it. Will never step foot in there again. Had cash to spend that day, and they totally blew it. We came into this dealership today to purchase a car from them and the sales associate and person who test drove the car with us were very kind and doing their job every well, but when we were in the negotiation of buying the car they kept trying to get us to agree to a payment that was far to high for the price of the car. After insisting on seeing a cost breakdown of the car 4 times we finally got the cost breakdown and it was $1,600 more than the website lists and it had all the additions added to it that they will always try to swindle you to pay for. We said we wouldn't be paying for all this additives and we just want to purchase the car for the price listed on their website plus the tax, title, licensing , and doc fees and include negative the equity from a totaled car we were owing on. At this point the Assistant Manager came in and asked "what we were trying to accomplish?" today. While explaining how we wanted to roll negative equity from a totaled car into the loan, he cut me off mid-sentence and decided to belittle us and tell us what we were trying to do to pay off the negative equity of the other car was illegal (which it isn't). He was extremely rude and instead of saying he didn't want to sell us the car for a fair deal, he decide the best corse of action was to condescendingly demean us and tell us false information until we left. 0/5 stars do not recommend buying a car here as if you want to negotiate a fair deal, management will treat you poorly. read more

First bad vibes was that my husband saw a vehicle advertised online that would be perfect for him. Of course, we get in and Salesman Andre decides to tell my husband that car was already sold, then proceeded to push a brand new Optima on him. During my private discussion with my husband on finances and discussing if we could afford the payment on the new vehicle vs a less expensive used vehicle, good ole Andre decided to chime in with his 2 cents on OUR finances. Second bad vibe is that I am clearly the one speaking to Andre about everything to do with this sale, and he is consistently directing his conversation and responses to my husband every time. We did end up getting the vehicle and have had no issue with it until now. Kia has an oil consumption issue with their motors. It's well known amongst mechanics (we have a friend who does all the maintenance on our other vehicle and told us to watch for this with the Optima) but not advertised by Kia. Our vehicle is having issues with this, so we took it to Napleton. They completed an oil change said drive it for 1,000 miles and bring it back. We did. They had it for 24 hours to run tests, gave it back said drive another 1,000 miles and bring it back. We did. They said provide maintenance records because we didn't complete more than 2 or 3 oil changes at Napleton Service since they kept canceling our appointments, but we did keep up with the oil changes. We took the vehicle back to Napleton on Oct 7 with the requested maintenance records and it has been there ever since. It is now Nov 1. I'm constantly told by Napleton service that they're waiting on Kia to respond. I think they finally got tired of my daily calls for updates and I was given the 800 number for Kia Customer Care. I called them on Oct 29 and was told that if we didn't have an answer within 3 days to call them back. I checked with Napleton service on Oct 31 and was told notes were updated but no response. I called Kia Customer Care again and was told that they're waiting on Tech Line and Service to complete additional tests. When that's mentioned to service they point the finger at Kia. 4 weeks they've had my car. 4 weeks I'm without transportation because they won't provide a loaner without repair approval. I don't live in a big city where public transportation is readily available. One way Uber to my office is $20. I don't know what my next step is but I will NEVER use a Napleton dealership again. Do Not Trust This Sales Team. Referred here by a friend and went in with my wife knowing the features we wanted in the Sportage she saw online. The sales person Steve Martin (yes this is his real name) showed us 3 feature packages. We test drove the one in the middle and agreed to purchase. On the way in Steve told us there was a hybrid in the same model for only 2k more which we said we wanted if it had the same features we came in looking for. Sunroof, leather interior (we have 2 kids) automatic start for the Chicago winter.) He assured us it did and we moved forward with this car. We asked Steve numerous times over the next 8 hours that we wanted to see the car and make sure it was the same. He kept telling us it wasnt ready and couldnt find the keys ect ect. but repeatedly reasurred us the car was the same as we testdrove. Even the finance guy kept telling him to show us the car. I had to leave early to grab my kids from daycare after this drawn out process on a car we knew we wanted and my wife called while I was home with our kids and told me they sold her the wrong car. When she walked out to get in and drive it home the interior looked totally different, had no sunroof, no leather interior and no autostart. My wife was in tears as Steve at first tried to talk her into the fact that it was the same car she test drove and then eventually admitted his mistake. A manager Eric came in and told us that the car we thought we purchased wasnt in but we could trade the car in for no additional cost in 3 months when it was ready. We trusted him and Chris Norton the other manage to uphold this agreement. It appears they may not and we may be stuck with a car we didnt want due to their shaddy practices. Mistakes like this should not be tolerated. Dont be duped like we were. read more

Salesperson: Marco Car Type: Used Audi I have bought many cars and this was the one of the worst experiences I ever had. I won't right an entire book but just the key parts to help others avoid the same. Optional "Mandatory" charges Marco is as shady as they come. When trying to finalize the deal and settling on numbers, Marco gave me the sales contract with 5 additional upsell service type options which took the price up about 5k. He began to explain each one and crossed out four of five and said those were optional however the last one wasn't and I had to pay for it. It was some type of car care service package with a cost of $2500 dollars. So it wasn't a cheap line item by any means. I am used to the upsells and had no intention of getting or paying for anything other than the car itself. Luckily I had already emailed in and got a quote on the car and pulled it up and showed it to him so he had no choice but to remove it. Services not performed I did ask to have the car tinted a $400 charge. I would be picking up the car the next day and asked Marco about the tint before I left and he said it would be completed. I made sure to explain and text him as I was leaving exactly what I wanted on the car. The next day Marco texted me to ask when I would be in to pick up the car, he then proceeded to tell me he would be out around that time and who to work with (this didn't surprise me as I assumed he would try to avoid me). I asked him if the tint was completed to which he responded "its done". When I came in to pick up the car absolutely nothing was done on the car. The car was not prepped, paperwork couldn't be found, keys couldn't be found, one of the batteries for the key fob was dead and of course the tint wasn't done. And the guy he told me to work with, had no idea about it either. These were some of the more major cost related shady acts I dealt with over the three days. There was quite a bit more unprofessionalism I encountered but at most dealerships you see this more often than not. read more

Great experience here at Napleton Kia. LOTS of cars to choose from over here--they have 3 lots. The sales experience was pleasant and hassle free. Sales guy Zach was very patient, kind, and thorough. Dan the finance man is very knowledgable and presented great finance options for consideration to ensure with a great deal. Overall, this was a great experience. Inquired on the Internet about a certified 2025 Subaru Sportage hybrid. They called and said the car was available. I asked if the warranty would be the same as the new car warranty and they said yes. So I went in to check it out and the first thing the salesman said was this was a used car (825 miles on odometer) and the warranty wouldn't be the full 5 year bumper to bumper and 10 year powertrain. I explained they told me on the phone it was. He said he would check on price and warranty. Manager came by and said the warranty is not the same because it is technically a used car and I would have to pay extra if I wanted to get the full 10 year warranty. I walked out and I will never return. Drove 1.5 hours and wasted gas and time and they don't care. read more

My experience at this dealership was horrible. The employees were racist, rude and disrespectful. Do not go here if you are a person of color. They discriminate against black people and it is very clear in the way I was racially profiled and the amount of questions I was asked and things I was asked to present that I have never once had to do at any other dealerships when all I wanted to do was SIMPLY LOOK AT A CAR (I HAD NO INTENT ON BUYING ANY CAR THAT DAY). I cannot believe the way I was treated and it absolutely makes me sick that the entire place all acted with such disgust and superiority towards me. I am overall offended by the way I was treated and can't believe this is still happening in 2025. Do better! read more
