I explained to Office that I tried to make sure way in advance and NO ONE helped to verify my insurance. Desk clerk stated it was my responsibility. I agree it is my responsibility but I also asked for help. Ive never had trouble finding out if a dentist accepts my insurance. I will pay for the procedure AFTER insurance pays for it so that I keep the difference, not the provider. I hate being charged more than I'll need to pay after insurance, have the provider keep the extra (including the interest on it) and then refund me when the provider gets around to it. I will not be going to places that make you pay before insurance pays. It's not pro customer, only pro business. It selfishly puts the onus on the customer.
