They have a few chairs in the main area but it would be more ideal if you had a ride to leave from someone else or use their complimentary shuttle service. Prices are reasonable and the service is usually quick. So reviewing from the tires-only standpoint I would recommend. If I ever get service done to anything else I will update the review.

Although I've been to Firestone and others for my routine oil changes and care care needs when not in Knoxville, they have given me a thumbs up on the condition of my car, even though I knew something was off. Kyle took a quick drive in my car and knew exactly what was wrong. I had to replace two motor mounts, which were a pretty penny, but considering it would have cost considerably more elsewhere, I was OK with it. Plus, she purrs like a kitten again. Spent $2,000 fixing oil leak & replacing a power steering pump in a Camry we just bought in April this year which apparently already had multiple oil leaks when bought it. We were told the motor was good in the Camry & that it was worth fixing. Took Camry back in October because there was a terrible noise in the motor. We were told the 3 rd piston blew a rod & broke it and that it fell in the oil pan. He says there was no way for him to know that when he was fixing it that the motor was damaged ( " & was caused by running completely out of oil more than twice .?). Wanted to charge $6,000 more plus to put in another motor after we were told the other motor was good before spending already $2,000 on fixing it. Or we could sell it to him for $300. We had a Toyota Prius in the past which was involved in a collision with a deer jumping in front of the car as we were driving towards White Pine. Said they could fix the Prius good as new for $2,700 or little more can't remember. But after we got the prius back from this same shop, we took it back 6 months later and was told " the motor burned the oil out of it & needs. New motor ". It was also a 2008 model. They were asking $3,000 to replace the motor in the Hybrid Toyota, but the value on it was about $2,500. He offered us $500 to buy the prius & so we did sell that one to Murray's but we decided to keep the Camry this time

I took it to the nearest Porter Tire store and…read morewas cordially greeted by a friendly young lady and she said it might be about a 30 minutes wait and that I could wait in my car and they would get me or I could wait in my lobby. I chose to wait in my car. After about 20 minutes a young man greeted me an directed me to the bay in which I was to have my car serviced. I was even able to remain in my car as they checked the tire. After pulling the tire and testing it, the technician told me that the small screw did not puncture the inner tire and that there would be no charge. He also even offered to check the tire pressures on my other tires before I left! He checked the tires, added air to a couple of them and sent me on my way with a smile. Now that is what I call exceptional service!

Terrible service, absolutely no knowledge of easiest tasks, lack of management, and a complete rip-off to, the city of Tazwell, Tennesse. FYI Oil filters are to be tight also!

Took my car to Porter`s Tazewell for front brake job. Job completed and paid $85 for front pads…read moreonly. I have receipt in hand that says front brake job. A couple months later, car vibrating from front with burning smell coming from front wheels. Took it back to Porter`s and spoke with manager Tyler. Upon inspection, apparently front pads were not replaced at the previous visit and I was told that the $85 was a brake labor charge. Pads were replaced this time and I was charged an additional $65 for "pads only." Pretty shady in my opinion. I will not go back. They have lost me as a customer. My advice, go elsewhere for service.
