Conveniently located right in OneLoudoun with ample parking. We came for our anniversary dinner which also fell during father's day weekend. Typically, at a high end restaurant we would expect a congratulations for the celebration but there was no mention of that from start to finish. For appetizer we got the Signature Beef Carpaccio. The beef was very tender and flavorful. Would recommend. For entrees we got the Prime Bourbon Ribeye and Prime Ribeye. -The Prime Bourbon Ribeye was flavorful, however it was not tender as how you would expect a prime steak to be. And for how they market their steaks to be aged and even having the word "prime" in the name of the steak, it is severely missing it's mark. -The Prime Ribeye had the same issue of not being tender enough for a prime cut steak. -Chicken Tenders -Mac and Cheese The Service: We had no issues with our server, they were very nice but we noticed the way the service was setup, the servers had very little help. They bring out the bread, drinks, and food which takes away from them being able to check in on tables for needs. We never were asked for refills of our drinks and when we needed help our server was hard to flag down. Again, our server was very nice but the way the service is managed is not setting the servers up for success since so much is put on them. We will not be coming back here due to the service and lack of attention to details. The service level and food quality just isn't there for this type of restaurant. This review is for happy hour. Bar area had high tops and lots of bar seating. The bartenders were attentive and took our drink prospers right away. They also passed out happy hour menus. I appreciate that because more often than not, lots of bars don't hand out their happy hour menus. Food and cocktails were good. Average of $10 for wine and snacks averaged the same. We came here for a nice steak dinner and overall had an enjoyable experience. It is definitely on the pricey side but the service was good. We started with the crab cakes which were great. They were not dry and very moist. I hadn't had crab cakes in a while so these were a great way to start the meal. We also ordered the spinach artichoke dip with pita chips and it was flavorful and satisfying. For my drink, I had the Berry White martini. It surprisingly tasted like those red, white, and blue popsicles but not in a bad way! I also really loved the complimentary bread they served. It was warm, soft, and hard to stop eating. For my entree, I ordered the Trio of Medallions. The steak itself was cooked well but I only really enjoyed the peppercorn sauce. This one was rich and flavorful. We had a great experience at Eddie Merlot's last night. Nice relaxing environment where they don't rush you (at all)! Our server, Eric D, was wonderful and gave great recommendations. The meal was so well timed - we started with their calamari with 3 dipping sauces - the wasabi aioli was amazing. Calamari was perfectly cooked - no chew!! so I wanna add a review of Eddie Merlot's. I've been here a couple times for social events, but the wife and I came here last Friday night, when my daughter was at a friends house. The two of us had a very nice meal. We sat at a high top at adjacent the bar area, and our server was wonderful. She was attentive and informative. The food was outstanding. I would highly recommend this place. If you're in the Loudoun One area, the ambience is very conservative and nice in the Bararea. They have a bunch of TVs where you can see current sporting events and the Restaurant area is white linens and high class. check it out. You may enjoy it. My company hosted their 2025 holiday party at Eddie Merlot's. They were packed on a Saturday evening but we were in one of their private dining rooms. Pre-dinner drinks took forever, over 20+ minutes. For appetizers I tried the filet mignon potstickers, too sweet and not enough meat; miniature ahi tuna wontons, edible but nothing special; miniature beef Wellington, nothing special. For our salad course, I opted for the Caesar salad, standard, and SO had the king crab and corn bisque, smooth, touch of sweetness but no crab or corn was to be seen. Would have been nice to have crab and corn on top. I had the 8 oz. filet mignon with a side of mushrooms for my entree. My steak was cooked to perfection, medium rare. A little fattier than what I like but it was seasoned perfectly and the mushrooms were the perfect accompaniment. SO had the 16 oz. ribeye, he thoroughly enjoyed but would have liked A1 Bold and Spicy. He also said his steak was cooked a perfect medium. The table shared mashed potatoes with roasted garlic, just ok; sweet potato casserole, way too sweet; and Brussels sprouts with bacon, good but too charred. For dessert the chocolate cake was preferred over the carrot cake which was dry. The staff was professional, courteous, apologetic for the slow drink service and for me, besides the filet mignon, the highlight of my EM experience. We have become regulars and continue come back for the outstanding service and food. The entire staff and management are excellent. Simon and Cassy really stand out as the most personable and engaging. We always have a special evening when we go to Eddie's. The manager and chief are also amazing. We were able to get a last minute reservation 2 hours before and the person that we spoke with on the phone was accommodating. When we arrived to the restaurant, our waitress was very attentive and we appreciated all her recommendations and took her up on a few of them. We started out with 2 appetizers, the crab cakes and tuna wontons. My favorite was the wontons, they were delicious. The crab cakes were not worth it for me because it was more stuffing and less crab. For the entree, I chose the Chilean sea bass with a portion of the mash potatoes. The sea bass was amazing. It was so soft and melted in your mouth. I also appreciated the fact that in the area we were seated there was a certain dress code. My husband took me to Eddie Merlot's for Valentine's Day and overall we had a pretty good time. Our reservation was for 9:45 pm, but given that it was a little bit of a drive for us, we decided to give ourselves a few extra minutes so we left early, arriving approximately around 9:10 pm. We checked in early at the front, letting them know we knew we were really early and that if it was ok we just planned to have a drink at the bar. The hostess checked us in and notified us that all the reservations were running a little late, but that they'd try and get us in as close to our time as possible. We honestly weren't that bothered by it, we were happy to have a drink or two while we waited. I cannot remember the name of the drink I ordered but it was something along the lines of a cherry Moscow mule and it was delicious. It was sweet, tart, light and refreshing, and the ginger beer paired with it was such a great choice. Interestingly, we were actually seated at 9:41, 4 minutes before our reservation, but even if we were seated late, we would've been ok since we were having a great time at the bar and the bartender was a joy to talk to. We were seated in one of the side rooms and shortly after our waiter stopped by to check in and let us know that they would do their best to accommodate us in a timely manner but that reservations have been running late and the kitchen has been a bit behind. We thanked him for his honesty, as he was correct, our food took a little over an hour to come out. Regardless, we enjoyed ourselves and the food we had was delicious. We started with the calamari which was good. It wasn't chewy and over cooked like calamari often is. It came with two delicious dipping sauces, slightly different than your typical marinara like sauce, and we enjoyed them. Everyone kept recommending the marinated ribeye so we just had to give it a try. Of course we both ordered it, which looking back we should've ordered different things so we could try two entrees, but we were pleased. The ribeye was cooked perfectly (I ordered medium), and it had a nice char on the outside. It was very tender and the marinade was great. We also got sides of mashed potatoes, loaded baked potato, and mushrooms. All the sides were also delicious. I especially loved the mushrooms which were nicely sautéed and lightly seasoned, without losing their natural flavor. We ordered the chocolate cake for dessert which we took to go since it was getting late and we had to get home, but this was such an amazingly rich, moist, chocolatey cake. I definitely recommend it if you're a chocolate cake lover like us. They also brought us chocolate covered strawberries which I thought was very kind of them, and were also delicious. I noticed not many people commented on the attire so I wanted to be sure to mention it for others. While this is considered a steakhouse, you will see some people dressed in nice jeans and polo T-shirts, as well as others in suits. Some ladies were wearing nice jeans and casual to dressy tops, while others wore dresses paired with fur coats. My point is, there's a vast array of what you could wear, and I think as long as you aren't wearing clothing that's too revealing or has holes, and isn't sports wear, you should be fine. Overall, we did enjoy our dinner. It was a bit on the pricey end, but at the end of the day, we enjoyed the food and had a great Valentine's Day dinner. We hadn't visited Eddy's in a while and I recently arranged for a nice dinner on a Sunday evening. The service was the same as we had remembered besides some new staff but it was still on point. Establishment wasn't very crowded which made for a more intimate atmosphere. The food was impeccable during our experience and great wine to match. Appetizer choice for the made daily Filet Mignon Potstickers were delicious and the Surf n Turf is my go-to. All of our sides paired well. It's been a month and I haven't received a gift certificate. We were in the back room, so more secluded from the rest of the restaurant and had a little more love and attention from the staff. Drinks were pretty good! But let's get to the real stuff, food! We shared lots of apps: oysters, calamari, beef carpaccio, poke, and the potstickers. Calamari were delicious, big pieces! The poke could've had more flavor, it was on the weaker side. Had dinner with a friend on a Sunday evening. Parking was plentiful and the decor inside was lovely and elegant. We were able to easily carry on a conversation without shouting for the few people in the dining room with us. The overall evening was lovely and our server Daniel was terrific. But a few hits and misses with the food/dessert offerings. We started with a bottle of rosé, which was crisp and refreshing for an unseasonably warm day. We received warm bread and soft butter, which oddly was difficult to break apart or chew without difficulty. I'm a huge bread fiend, and I couldn't get through a single piece of it. We ordered the filet mignon potstickers, which were very tasty with the drizzled sauce. For dinner, my friend had the sea bass over julienned vegetables (see pic). It was a sizeable piece of fish, and she said she enjoyed it. I had the 6oz filet mignon with Bernaise sauce (see pic). The filet was very small, esp for the price, but it was admittedly the smallest of the three sizes offered. I asked for it medium, and it came out more like a well done with a mere streak of pink. It was well seasoned and seared. The Bernaise was a bit of the lukewarm and goopy side, but tasted fine. For sides (which are family style), we ordered Eddie's potatoes, which were their version of au gratin, and sautéed brussel sprouts (see pics). The potatoes were okay, nothing to write home about. The Brussel sprouts, however, had a detectable fish taste for some reason. I wondered if it was cooked in the same pan as my friend's sea bass!? For dessert, we ordered 30-year port for two and it was absolutely delicious. I could have gone for a second glass had it not been so expensive. I'm still thinking about that port a day later, it was scrumptious! To go with the port, my friend ordered the Triple Chocolate Cake for us to share, which was HUGE (see pic), but sadly it was dry and tasteless. We each had a bite and left the remaining. We weren't asked if we liked it or why we left the huge piece barely touched. My friend placed a small order to-go, and that came out as we were wrapping up so it was nice and warm to take home. And Daniel asked if we wanted to wrap any items from our meal and dessert to take home. We finished about 9pm, and we were one of the last tables remaining on a Sunday night. So, like I said, some hits and some misses. For the expensive price point, I would have expected far more delicious standouts. Service and decor is lovely for a celebratory dinner, but I hope they improve a bit with their menu or the kitchen execution of the menu. read more

We had the most epic dinner here tonight. Jade was our server and she was on point with everything. They started us with some delicious sourdough bread with some paprika and other spices and whipped butter. We had the the Rockefeller oysters for appetizers and for our main course, we had the Cowboy steak and lobster combo with truffle parmesan fries and bacon brussel sprouts.
