This is an authentic Bosnian grocery store and restaurant. The people are friendly and genuinely care about service the best, authentic food from their country. The restaurant does not have the prettiest decor, or furniture. It is actually a bit of a dive, but they have the best authentic Bosnian cuisine that I have ever had! Yes, food is great but...As someone originally from the former Yugoslavia, I wanted to point out that the term "bosnian food" is completely inaccurate. While Bosnia and Herzegovina exists as a state today, unfortunately much more like artificial and young state, the culinary traditions in the region are rooted in Croatian, Turkish, and Serbian cultures rather than a distinct bosnian entity. To me, calling it "bosnian food" is similar to claiming that "Hunt County food" exists as a unique cuisine within Texas or US. read more

Nice Bosnian spot that has both, European (EU) groceries and a Halal restaurant in the back. Majority of the groceries are import from EU and are mostly from Croatia. Customer service was good and they have a small and clean seating area in the back as well. Restaurant menu is small and the prices are reasonable. These are some of the things I noticed that may need to be worked on. Grocery area is little unorganized, overall place is little unattractive, and the prices for a lot of items are missing. Also, restaurant menu needs to be updated with little explanation on what items actually are and if they come with any side. read more

This place from the outside and surrounding industrial neighborhood aspires to be a dive, perfect for Guy Fieri on DDD. The parking is extremely limited, and you walk in and it's a store with a "restaurant" (a few tables) in the back, by the delivery door. But wowza, man oh man, the food rocks. The wife had the goulash and to say it was phenomenal is an understatement. I tried a few bites and cannot get the fantastic-ness out of my head. Flavors were rich and deep, the beef was good quality, and the portion more than generous. I had the stuffed "cabbage rolls" which on the menu says dolmas with meat and rice. They are not dolmas because dolmas are grape leaves. This is cabbage. But I digress. They were good, but not enough sauce IMO and I like my wife's stuffed cabbage rolls a bit better. But Eddie's were good. We also shared a side of "sweet cabbage salad" which is more like sweet and sour and was very good. We were completely full but saw someone else eating a meat pie so we got a couple to go. They actually gave us two meat and one cheese. The meat pies are also phenomenal. The meat is spiced and the pastry is flaky and crisp. So flavorful and full of wonderfulness! The cheese pie is also fantastic and you can taste the mounds of butter that surely are used. Each is big enough to share because they are large. The service can be disorganized (as is often true in post-Soviet countries) but the people are nice. If you are adventurous and want a new taste experience, you have to give this place a try. You will not be disappointed. read more

This little grocery store has a full menu in the back. It is a family run business. We over ordered but everything was very good! I also ordered a cappuccino and bought some snacks on my way out. The cevaki comes with a soft spongey bread and red pepper sauce - this was my favorite. The Bosnian pita - pastry stuffed with beef was also very good. Delicious Balkan food, in a weird setup. I could eat this food every day and never get sick of it. I would say the place is more of a store than restaurant with added tables. Nevertheless, it does not take away from the food at all. It's a must try and when you do, you'll be hooked. After you're hooked, now you have to browse the store and pick up sweets. Few items are more authentic then others. The soup and eggplant meat roll were amazing. Cevapi was a bit over cooked. Service is pretty friendly. It's very mom and pop kind of establishment and we loved that. If you are looking for very restaurant ambience then it's not your place but if you are looking for good home cook food then definitely try it. read more

As a fellow Balkan I had to go here!!! I just moved to the Dallas area and couldn't find my cultures food anywhere () and then I found this gem about an hour from my house. So obviously I got ready and sped over ASAP. YALL it was better than I could have imagined!!! First off it's a restaurant/bakery and a grocery store full of all Balkan food. I got some treats like eurocream (our version of Nutella), ajvar and they had mamas brand which it elite. I got a bunch of cookies and some sausages to bring back home. When you walk to the back you can order the hot food and you're welcome to eat it there or take it to go. I ordered the cevapi (5) and a pljeskavica and a feta spinach pita. I was suffering the whole way home just waiting to devour the food. I was in shock how good the food was. I've been to some Balkan restaurants that were a hit and miss and the food was dry but NOT AT THIS PLACE. It was cooked to perfection, I was FaceTiming my family back home and they were all impressed. If you've never had Balkan food... YOU NEED TO. It's a cool little European grocery store with a cafe in the back. If you have any interest in a variety of food from the Balkans, this is the place to go. They were super nice and friendly, especially since they could tell it was our first time. While I am somewhat familiar with the food of the region, it was helpful to follow the waitresses suggestions. We split an order of the stuffed cabbage, plus one meat and one cheese pita. Bosnia is here in Texas !!! I'm really excited to discover this little small gem along northwest Highway. It's really hidden and easy to miss, but it's next to Public Storage. Has yellow gate in front of building. Place is clean, parking a bit challenging, staff is very friendly and food is superb and very authentic and fresh. There's also a small grocery store in front and you can shop for Bosnia's groceries. Grocery is well stocked and have brands are local in Bosnia. read more

The serving was affordable and generous, and made tasty leftovers. Im originally from Bosnia so I know a thing or two about chevapi, and the chevapi here are really good. Also the young lady that works the register is super nice and always gets your order right. Aside from the Grill/Restaurant there is a store and the store has a great selection of groceries and honestly it has some of the best prices that I have seen (have lived in 5 different states all which had their own local Bosnian grocery store and they were all a lot more expensive). This place is a shop, a restaurant, bakery, ballroom, everything you can think of. I can't speak of the ballrom, but the rest of things are incredible. It reminds me a lot of the Balkans, and the food is very authentic. I only had the feta burek, which is super delicious, but I definitely have to go back and try the rest of the menu. They also carry a ton of European products. I got my chocolate, bread spreads, and some spices. So glad to have found this gem, and I am excited to go back. read more

He told me about it and I had to try them also and am I glad I went in and had lunch. After I eat lunch which was very good I went throughout their grocery store and found that they had everything I wanted and needed to make homemade international food and deserts!
