Since my daughter was traveling on Mother's Day, she treated me to an early celebration the Saturday before. We had wanted to try this restaurant for years and finally made it there. We had a 1:00 p.m. reservation and were seated promptly. The setting was lovely with a slight corporate feel but still elegant and welcoming. The service was excellent from start to finish. A complimentary cinnamon scone and a rose for Mother's Day was a thoughtful touch. The whole wheat bread was hearty and delicious and we also enjoyed a wonderful French rosé. Although there was a special Mother's Day menu, we ordered from the regular menu. The Chilean sea bass was prepared Hong Kong style in a flavorful broth with sautéed spinach and pickled ginger. The flavors were excellent, although I think the fish was slightly overcooked because it was a little tough. 4/5. The stuffed shrimp with crab was light, fresh, and not overly buttery or oily, which I appreciated. 4.5/5. The banana foster butter cake was extremely sweet. Even between the two of us we could only finish half, although it was beautifully presented with freshly prepared pistachio ice cream and whipped cream. 4/5. Overall this was a very nice dining experience with attentive service, thoughtful details, and good food.

My boyfriend and I have honestly turned this into one of our favorite date night spots, and I recently came here for my birthday. Every time we come, the experience is always really good. The staff was amazing, our server was super nice, and I genuinely enjoyed my whole night here. Everything we ordered was delicious. One of my favorite things here is the seafood fried rice, or whatever the exact name is lol, but it is SO good every single time. I also tried some steak this time and for somebody who really doesn't even eat steak like that, it was actually really good. And the crème brûlée? Top tier. Definitely one of my favorite desserts there. The atmosphere is always nice for a date night, birthday dinner, or just wanting to go somewhere that feels a little more upscale without being uncomfortable. I'll absolutely be back again. Also, if you've never been before, the restaurant is on the second floor and there is garage parking available, which is nice.

After this dinner, maybe I do like Eddie V's. This time it was great! The place has this sleek, polished vibe that whispers, "I am the prize" familiar words I stand on! Even the staff moved like they were part of the choreography. Honestly, the atmosphere alone could've carried the night, drama and all. Our waiter was a GEM! Let's get into it! The Lobster came out fresh, perfectly seasoned, and plated like it knew it was helping close a chapter. The steak? Cooked exactly right tender enough to remind me what standards look like. His Lamb Chops- Yummy! They are his favorite! The calamari? Crispy, confident, desired (ohhhh I love them) and not trying too hard. If calamari had a personality, this one would've rolled its eyes at the whole situation right along with me. Our drinks delicious! Eddie V's you'll definitely see me again! Cheers to a chapter closed, memories made, appreciation for what was and peace renewed! Unapologetically ME HIGHLY Recommend!

Eddie V's truly delivers a premier steakhouse and seafood experience. The food is consistently outstanding--the crab cake is a standout, and the Brussels sprouts, salmon, and shrimp were all perfectly prepared and full of flavor. What really sets this location apart is the service. The entire team creates a first-class experience without ever feeling pretentious. The front desk staff were warm and welcoming, and Kimberly went above and beyond by taking so many great photos for us. Our servers--Steven, Gustavo, and Juan--provided exceptional, attentive care throughout the evening, and the manager even stopped by to make sure everything was perfect (it absolutely was). Gustavo also deserves a special mention for taking fantastic group photos. On a separate occasion, Cynthia at the front desk also demonstrated the highest level of professionalism and service, which really speaks to the consistency of the team. From start to finish, Eddie V's offers not just a great meal, but a memorable, elevated dining experience. Highly recommend!

Had an absolutely amazing experience at Eddie V's Prime Seafood for my birthday this afternoon! From the moment we arrived, everything felt upscale, welcoming, and well-orchestrated. The service was truly exceptional -- special shout-out to our waitress Nancy, who made my birthday extra special. She was attentive, warm, and knowledgeable about the menu. She did not rush us at all, and the pacing of the meal was perfect -- our food came to the table at just the right time so we could relax and fully enjoy each course. The food was delicious. The steak was perfectly cooked and very tender. My favorite was the crab fried rice -- absolutely full of flavor. My husband's favorite was the au gratin cheddar potatoes. We also highly recommend the stuffed shrimp with crab meat -- definitely a must-order. The surprise birthday dessert topped it all off -- a rich butter cake caramelized with bananas, flambéed tableside, and served with creamy butter pecan ice cream, housemade whipped cream, and a chocolate cookie. It was incredible and such a memorable touch. We will definitely be back. Be sure to make a reservation -- they are always booked for a reason. Highly recommend for special occasions and anyone wanting a top-tier dining experience.

Great mid day sneak away! Love the 24 caret cocktail and the calamari appetizer! Was great.

Eddie V's has been a favorite of mine for years now. When I worked in Tyson's Corner I came here frequently for special occasion work lunches. I was in the area with my current manager and insisted we have lunch here. This was my manager's first-time dining at Eddie V's. He is now a fan of this establishment and has returned multiple times. The crab fried rice is always a favorite with any group I dine here with. The calamari are also delicious. I've enjoyed the shrimp and scallops many times, but honestly all of the seafood is worth ordering. I've only been here for business lunches, but it would be great for special occasions or a fancy date night. The staff are always top tier completing the upscale experience.

I'm not sure what got into me . This is truly our favorite restaurant . Love their Sea bass , Calamari appetizer, Seared Salmon , Truffle Mac ! Also the warmth of the manager Kevin! always makes our evening special as he consistently stops by most tables it seems, and personalizes each party's experience. The 3 piece band in the lounge each weekend is really neat . But my husband ... Just look at that man.

Chilean Sea Bass - perfecting cooked. Delightful dish

Ambiance: dark vibes. Very busy on a Wednesday. Large dining area and a few smaller a private dining rooms available. Service: great waitress that made awesome recommendations. She was on point with everything! Food: one of the best restaurants that often gets overlooked. It has been in Tysons for awhile but not too many people talk about it. I had the sea bass which was steamed perfectly. The sauce wasn't too overpowering to the fish. I loved this dish. My friend had scallops which was cooked perfectly as well. Our side was the outstanding crab fried rice with chunks of crabmeat. You can taste the delicious butter sauce. Appetizer was the calamari- lightly battered and fried. It was on a bed of crispy noodles and this carrot slaw and peanuts. It was a big app and I thought I wasn't going to be able to finish my main but the sea bass was so good I had to kill it!!! Definitely a great dinner!!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Eddie Vs. we had been to other locations before and this one was beautiful. The decor and the layout were stunning. The service staff were impeccably dressed, friendly and diligent. Thank you to Nancy and Mauricio for their spectacular service. The only downfall was that all the food (except the lobster taco appetizer) was under seasoned and needed a sprinkle of salt. Other than that, our meal and experience was spectacular. We will definitely be back to enjoy again - and hope it is even better next time.

Gotta say, I really love this restaurant group. I've been to 6 locations now across the country. All of them are just amazing places to enjoy a meal and drinks. Very professional staff and relaxed environment. Go see Gary at this particular location. One of the hardest working bar tenders I've ever seen. Looking forward to visiting again.

Sides: truffles mac n cheese and crab fried rice

Good food and great service at those restaurant located at Tysons Corner. It's a bit pricey and we were fortunate to have a great server. We wetter here celebrating my wife's retirement and our server went above and beyond getting her a rose and making dessert with Congratulations. The calamari appetizer was lightly breaded and there were sauce on the side. Wished more saucewas provided as accompanying noodles were bland. Caesar Salad was good. Surprised steak came out bare but we did order sides. The truffles mac n cheese were good but I definitely enjoyed the crab fried rice more. Scallop entrée was great. Good place to go for celebration.

I'm giving 3 star because I expected a little more pertaining to the food. I deliberately chose the happy hour time to just experience the happy hour, which wasn't bad at all. I just expected the food to be more tasty from an 5 star quality restaurant. Danielle was our sever and she was great. I ordered the oyster Rockefeller and lobster bites from the happy hour it was okay I had better oysters . I also ordered the crab cake and it was good. The lamb chops were delicious, the mac and cheese was decent to me others in my party wasn't to fond of it. The drinks are expensive but was really good I ordered the Cadillac Margarita. The atmosphere was good, we sat close to the bar the lighting was dark in that area. It was bad lighting for pictures. The parking is great you can park in garage right beside restaurant. The staff were friendly, I will visit again and try other dishes.

Ask the Community - Eddie V's Prime Seafood

Are high tops tables in the bar?

Yes

Is the outdoor area cigar friendly? Looking for a good cocktail and cigar. Thanks.

No if the outdoor area is attached to the building.

Where to park?

Valet parking or mall parking

Does this location offer bison?

I din't think so.

Chicken at Eddie V's in San Diego?

Unfortunately only on the Kids Menu is there chicken - chicken fingers and chicken breast (at least at the McLean/Tysons location).

Is happy hour at the bar only? Or throughout the restaurant?

Bar only!

Can you post menu lunch kn Friday ? Is it hard to find parking?

There's free parking at the mall and usually a ton of spots

Where is the best place to sit - bar, high-top, or standard?

I think this depends on your evening and what you are looking for. The bar was packed on a Saturday with a lively atmosphere. I set standard as it was a date. High tops looked lovely as well and were near the bar. All based on preference and the…

Do they have private rooms?

Eddie Vs San Diego seaport village/headquarters location has private dining rooms.

Is there valet parking?

No just garage parking

What's the parking situation there?

Park in the garage across the street for the mall. It's free and has a bridge to cross. Otherwise, paid parking is under the restaurant.

Do they still have outdoor seating?

I believe Eddie Vs still has limited outside seating, but it was raining when we ate there.

Are kids 4 and 2 allowed?

I dined at Eddie V's on a Saturday and noticed a family with two young kids. It was around 5:30 if that matters. Be aware the restaurant does not have a kids menu.

What is Dress code? Slacks? No jeans?

No dress code that I know of, but it's a nice place with white tablecloth service, so the clientele is a mix of business attire and "smart casual." You'd feel self-conscious if you were too casual.

During dinner, there was live music which created a nice ambiance. I ordered the half roast chicken and chicken Bryani. The half roast chicken was disappointing. The breast was dry and flavorless. Dinner menu seems to be the same as the dinner menu from last year. Breakfast we ordered the chicken and waffles and also the lobster eggs Benedict. The chicken and waffle was cooked fresh. Chicken crispy and juicy. Waffle fluffy. The lobster Benedict was a let down. Eggs were cooked nicely but the lobster bits were mushy. Overall the room was nice and the food was hit or miss.

Romantic vibe

I usually am enamored with speakeasies, but it was really hard to love this one…read more 1. Reservations - I've been with OpenTable and other restaurant online booking systems for decades but this is a first for me. They have two separate OpenTable listings (as noted in other reviews). I was clear in that i just wanted an after work chill happy hour. I booked for 4:30. After promptly showing up at the wren for my 4:30 appointment I was told, Naisho room doesn't open until 5 pm.... So why did you let me book for 4:30?!?! No explanation. No apology just "you're early..." 2. I promptly dropped $70 for drinks and an appetizer at the Wren bar to hold me and my guests over. It wasn't bad but that's not what I was hoping for... at 4:30. 3. The service to the speakeasy was great. The "gym stag" had our 4:30 and let us in at... 5:03 pm... 4. The waitress inside the speakeasy was super awkward and off putting. She really needs a class on etiquette. I ordered quite a bit right off the bat but my guests slow roll throughout the experience and she didn't seem too happy with that. Taking away our menus doesn't encourage us to order either. You charge $22 for one tea sandwhich but can't afford to print out more menus? The menus were also pretty dingy and I hand sanitized after using them. 5. Food. Was mid at best. Not at all authentic Japanese. I had the oyster shooter, temaki, Wagyu toast, Wagyu quesadilla, and mocktail. The oyster shooter was too sweet. And you could only taste the oyster and caviar at the end. Mostly as an aftertaste. There was a "too sweet" aspect to most of the food. The temaki was okay and I liked the crunchy bits but they went too far with the plastic wrap on the seaweed. The plastic wrap gave me Japanese 7-11 onigiri vibes. You do that if you aren't efficient enough to get the food out to guests at once and the seaweed will get soggy. I'm not sure if it was for a "fun factor" for people who are unfamiliar with grocery store onigiri in Asia but in a restaurant it should be done for you. The Wagyu toast was a HUGE disappointment. It was Sooooo sweet. I filet barely taste anything except the gross, sweet jam. And the toast was soggy and the texture of the bread felt prepared the day before and like refrigerator. It was not toasted at all. The star was the Wagyu quesadilla with beef tendon chips. It was the cheapest item on the menu and the most filling and delicious. 6. Drinks were very good. Expect about $20 a pop... $50 for the Japanese whiskey is highway robbery. Nothing really "rare." I have most bottles on the kitchen counter from the Virginia ABc or DC Costco. You can buy an entire bottle of the Japanese whiskey at Costco for the cost of one serving here. Overall, the Naisho room felt like all hype. For over $100 I was still pretty hungry. If the food tasted good I would have ordered more but I didn't think it was worth it. You get a nice view but it's the same from most of the capital one building. Same view from the brewery. Don't waste your money. Go elsewhere. Plenty of better happy hour spots for much much less considering if you stay for more than two hours you have to pay for parking (we did becuase, well, our reservation was at 4:30...)
