Our server would take long breaks, we hoped to drink our cocktail before our food came, but our food came 5 seconds after the drinks! My best friend and I split a tomahawk steak with their mac n cheese and a baked potato as our sides. The steak itself was pretty fatty, more than the norm for a Tomahawk and had little to no flavor. The last time we visited Fleming's was at the Baltimore location which since has unfortunately closed. This time was for an Anniversary dinner. We had an early dinner reservation at 4 and outside of some at the Bar we had the place to ourselves. We started at the Bar for Martinis-this is the way to go as Cocktails are half the price at the bar (4-7). Our Gin and Vodka A Olive Martinis were strong and delicious. We started with 1/2 dozen Oysters and the Sweet Chili Calamari. Both were excellent. La Chevaliere Cabernet for dinner paired perfectly with our steaks. 20 oz bone-in dry aged Ribeye sounded good but we both ended up ordering the Dry aged (16 oz boneless) Ribeye. Came out a perfect medium rare as ordered-delicious! Truffle Poached Lobster tail was tasty and paired well although it was tiny. Wedge salad is big enough to share and was enjoyed. The side that stole the sow was the Creamed Spinach-the shaved Parmesan topping took it over the top -maybe the best we've had! Lots of food so we took some home. No room for dessert so we ordered the Chocolate Lava Cake to go. I'm usually not a big fan of these Lava cakes but saw it had a Callebaut Belgian chocolate center and it was amazing -Order this dessert-you're welcome! This deal is only on Tuesdays and you get two salads, a 35oz Tomahawk steak, 2 sides and 2 dessert. While the deal is a good value, I think there were some hit and misses of the night. The salads were solid and the steak was very mediocre. The steak had decent flavor, but wasn't that tender. The sides on the other hand were amazing - get their famous Fleming's Potatoes, you won't regret it. Desserts were also pretty good, but nothing crazy to write home about. Service was good. We were guided to a table right at the entrance to the dining room with people crowding past and the draft from the door. We asked for a different spot. The staff accommodated us and we were seated in a wonderful table with a view of the dining room. We ordered a dirty martini and a regular one. Both were fine, however the dirty lacked the olive brine that makes them dirty. She ordered the strip steak and I ordered the ribeye. Both were cooked perfectly although they lacked real steak taste. I had a private dinner here in one of the event rooms and the highlight of the evening was the food. I have to say service was good, it wasn't bad. But it was not exceptional compare to the private events I've been to at Ruth's Chris and The Capital Grille. Usually when there are private events, I would expect service to be exceptional knowing it is a large crowd and gratuity will be generous. Wine was part of the event but I wanted a mocktail. I asked one of the servers for the mocktail menu and it kind of threw him off. He came back with the menu and never came back for my order. When another server was filling my neighbor's water, I kindly asked her if I can put in my mocktail order. That also threw her off and she was kind of hesitant. I finally got my mocktail and it was amazing. Probably one of the better mocktails I've had. It's called "Herb Your Enthusiasm" and it was so refreshing with the fresh herbs, muddled cucumbers, and hints of lime yuzu. I would come back just for this drink. We had a set menu with appetizers, starters, entree, and of course, dessert. The shrimp cocktail was fresh with meaty pieces of shrimp with a light horseradish sauce. I could taste the peppercorn in the sweet and spicy filet bites. I loved both appetizers. The caesar salad was one of the better caesar salads I've had. You can taste the anchovies in the dressing and I prefer and love this. The fried capers and fried prosciutto threw it over the top with the light kick of saltiness. The prime New York strip for my entree was cooked perfectly medium and served on a hot plate. It was buttery and melt in your mouth good. I didn't care for their mashed potatoes. I came to Fleming's Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar on a Saturday evening. My family made reservations ahead of time to celebrate my father in law's birthday. Our party included six adults, two children and one toddler that needed a high chair. We were seated immediately at a large, spacious table. I ordered the North Atlantic Lobster Tails that comes with two lobster tails still in the shell with drawn butter. Once the dish came out, the waitress was kind enough to remove the shells for me. The lobster meat was soft and tasted even better dipped in the butter. The butter comes with its own little contraption to keep it hot and heated throughout the meal. I order the following sides: - Baked Potato Loaded - This potato was HUGE with sour cream, chives and butter loaded on top. The potato was cooked well, the insides were steaming hot when it came out. - Chipotle Cheddar Mac & Cheese - The portion was very large, this can definitely be shared with 2-3 people. The noodles were cooked perfectly and soaked in all the cheesy flavors. - Creamed Spinach - I was not a huge fan of this side dish. The cream was really heavy and oily. I wouldn't order this one again. We order a meal for my son, I was so impressed with the menu and presentation. Children under 12 have a choice of a three course meal, for my son we ordered Classic Salad, Classically Grilled Salmon & Fresh Fruit Bowl. The food for all of the children came out quickly so I really appreciated that. The food didn't come out sloppy and looking thrown together, the staff here really do make the same effort with even their children's dishes to come out beautiful, making all of the children feel special. Overall, the staff were fantastic checking on us throughout the meal to make sure we had everything we needed. Already split and broiled to perfection. Very sweet and meaty legs. Comes lemon and drawn butter . But you don't really need it. My husband ordered the Miso Chilean Sea Bass with an added side of Diablo shrimp. Of course I tasted it and it was amazing. You can taste notes of citrus, ginger , tamarind, soy sauce, and honey hmmmmm.... The Diablo shrimp had a brown butter garlic cream sauce with a kick of spice. Wow... We shared a gluten free molten lava chocolate cake it included 2 scoops of ice cream, and cookie wafer, and strawberries, yessssssss. It was crazy good. Cons - the establishment definitely short staffed, which placed a lot of obvious strain on our server. I could tell that she was doing her absolute best at keeping up with all of her table, the demand was unfairly too high for one person. As a result this put a damper on our experience unfortunately. This was not the server's fault. If there were more servers to carry the load of customers, we would have had a better service experience . Which is unfortunate. Recommendations: please have the valet concierge not smoke in front of the door, there's only one way in and one way out. He had me choking waiting for my car. Went to Flemings with a small group for lunch. Flemings had a special holiday lunch menu that included a price fix option which included a soup or salad and a choice of three entrees. At 1pm the restaurant was very empty and surprisingly the service was very slow. So slow I watched our waiter and the chef standing in the corner arguing with the chef yelling about something regarding our order. Our waiter was accommodating some food allergies in the group and offered a couple entrees that were on the main menu not the holiday lunch version. Many of us had the steak frites with chimichurri sauce. The steak was perfectly cooked and tasted great with the sauce. Granted the lunch size, 6-7oz, was kinda small but the frites helped fill us up. We have been to Flemings for dinner a few times and always like the food. The service is also usually on point. I took my family of 5 for Mother's Day brunch which was serving an all day $100 pp pre-fixe meal. I used to go to Fleming's in Edgewater, NJ a lot so I was heavily disappointed when I entered this extremely dated, run-down location. The only good things about our visit was that they allowed you to sub appetizers and desserts for whatever you wanted (excluding very few items) and the food was decent. Nothing to complain about and everyone enjoyed their meal. The service was par - waitress was attentive and polite. The one thing I do recall is the off-putting behavior of the hostess. We walked in and she took FOREVER to get to the door - there were enough patrons waiting, so what the heck is she doing after opening the door, disappearing on us? She definitely knew there were people waiting. Odd. She also seated us where it was already crowding (10 mins after opening) and we just couldn't figure out why. Are you saving nicer booth seats for people coming in later? Why would that be the case? There's plenty of nice seafood and steak restaurants nearby - I'm not coming back to this Fleming's. Came to this location for the first time. We've been to Fleming's before in other locations, but it's been several years since we've been back to a Fleming's. Hubby and I ordered their tomahawk Tuesday with wedge salad, Caesar salad, steak was ordered medium, sides of asparagus and mac n cheese, and desserts of lava cake and butter cake. We also ordered 2 drinks- lemon blueberry drop and espresso martinis. Total came out to approximately $170, not including tip. What's hot - Quality. Absolutely delicious! Their tomahawk steak was cooked to perfection and exactly as we requested- medium- pink center, tender and just slightly crispy on the outside due to how they season their steak. The way their tomahawk steak is seasoned is delicious without their sauces. Their Caesar salad is atypical in that it comes with a generous amount of shavings of Parmesan cheese and their prosciutto is just slightly crispy, which adds a nice texture. If you like sweet fruity cocktails that aren't too sweet, I definitely recommend their lemon blueberry drop. It comes with a few fresh blueberries, which add a wonderful freshness and burst of flavor. Their chocolate lava cake is 10 steps above the rest in that there is a generous amount of chocolate that flows out and their cake is so tender, soft and moist. Our server told us it takes 30 minutes to prepare, but it's worth the wait. Their butter cake is like a brownie, but the texture is more thick and fudgy. Remarking on how delicious their bread is may seem odd, but I'm a foodie, so I'm going there. Their bread is just slightly crispy/crunchy on the outside and soft and fluffy on the inside. Their butters are flavorful, not overwhelming, but soft and wonderful. - Service. Excellent! I made reservations online and everything went smoothly. I added in the reservation notes that we are celebrating our anniversary. As such, our table had a "happy anniversary" card and we were provided a box of chocolate truffles in addition to the dessert we ordered. Our server, Ebon, is delightful, amusing, and incredibly helpful in providing details. When I asked for his opinion on a specific cocktail and dessert, he was obliging and provided all the important details. His recommendations were spot on! I remarked how delicious their bread and he was gracious enough to provide us a loaf in a takeaway box when we were finished. At the end of our meal and before dessert was served, our server cleaned off the bread crumbs and other odds and ends. They don't appear short staffed at all, which made everything so seamless. Whenever we finished anything, staff came over and took away the dishes; refilled our drinks, and; were available to provide us what we requested. Their staff is a well-oiled machine, which makes the experience even better and enjoyable. - Price. Their tomahawk Tuesday is $140, which is good value for money, because it comes with 2 salads, 2 sides and 2 desserts. - Layout. Pretty good space, especially for different party sizes. There's a decent size bar area, especially if you just want to hang out for happy hour. We were seated in a booth that could've seated 4, which was nice, because we had a good amount of space for ourselves. - Location. First floor of a hotel and near Tyson's Corner mall, so easy to find. - Parking. Since it's on the first floor of a hotel, there's a decent amount of parking services nearby. There's also valet if you prefer to have that option. What's not - Price. If you order a la carte, it may not be considered as much good value for money. Of course, that's subjective. My fiancé and I have been going here for YEARS. We love this place so much. Food: 5/5 -Bread and Butter : SO good but dont eat too much or youll get stuffed! They have seasonal butter flavors, and I personally really like their champagne butter and their pumpkin flavor -We ALWAYS order the tomahawk- not being dramatic. Any time we go to Flemings, that's our main entree. I love how they pre cut it for you, and give you the option to bring the bone home. The bone is good to chew on later, or its great for your sweet pet. -Fleming's Potatoes: this is where my love for potatoes grew even more. Au Gratin has become my favorite kind of potatoes and it's always a hit. -Sauteed Mushrooms and Roasted Asparagus are always a good addition to the meal as well -Seafood Tower : sooo good. If we are here for a special event, we will get this. It is a little pricey but we deserve something of that price, once in awhile! We went for the Tomahawk Tuesday and it was a pleasant experience! The food was very tasty and everyone was very nice. Our server, Jennifer, was awesome! The Tomahawk Tuesday came with two soups/salads, two sides, two options for steak (we chose the Tomahawk), and two desserts. We added a the Calamari for appetizer. Calamari was great, very crispy with sweet/sour sauce. For soup/salad, we got the lobster bisque and Fleming's Salad. The lobster bisque was rich and tasty but was a tad salty. The salad had a very light coating of balsamic dressing that you barely taste, so it's definitely on the healthy side :P It was still tasty without the excessive dressing. For the two sides, we got the Brussel Sprouts and Loaded potato. The brussel sprouts could have been crispier but it was tasty. And the load potato was big!! The Tomahawk: we got medium rare and it was cooked perfectly with a crust. Presentation was great! For dessert, we got the Butter Cake and Carrot Cake. The butter cake tastes like a brownie, with a chocolate sauce with chrunchies. It was delightful. And the Carrot cake was very moist. Overall, our experience here was very pleasant! read more

I really wanted to love Fleming's, but for the price point, the food just didn't deliver. We tried a variety of dishes, and overall everything was just okay. The lobster mac was a big miss--watery and lacking that rich, cheesy texture you'd expect. I'd give it a 3/10. The steak was fine but lacked depth of flavor--probably a 6/10. At this price, you expect a standout cut, and it just wasn't that. The Brussels sprouts were a pleasant surprise--crispy and seasoned well (7.1/10). The crab cakes had decent flavor, but you could tell about 30% was filler--still a respectable 7.5/10. The calamari had great flavor, but I wish it had more meat to it--7.7/10. Service was solid, ambiance was nice, but the food didn't justify the check. Would I come back? Maybe--for drinks or apps--but not rushing to return for a full meal. read more

A delicious steak and an Expresso martini...can you ask for more! I really enjoyed my experience at this restaurant. I went for a friend's birthday on a Saturday evening. The restaurant was not too crowded and very clean. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Everything we ordered was delicious! In addition to the ribeye, I tried the Brussel sprouts and mashed potatoes. We also had the chocolate lava cake. I would recommend this place for a date night or girls night out. There is free valet parking and parking on the right side of the restaurant. It's located near a hotel, as a point of reference. I definitely plan to return! read more

A great chain steakhouse that's better than the other guys. Kind of in a random corner of Tyson's in a Marriott. Not the prettiest from the outside, but everything is easy and delicious. Free valet, usually easy to get a table. And everything is great. The bread with the spreadable brie is great. Burrata appetizer is great. Steaks great. Desserts great. And reasonably priced. Arrived late within an hour of closing. i knew it was going to be a good experience when the valet had us park in the valet spot, no charge. The beautiful restaurant interior was nearly empty, so opted to sit at the bar. Brian, the bartender, was engaging but not too much. The food, although a tad pricey - but not for DC - was very tasty and cooked to perfection. The steak had great flavors, and the staff was very attentive to a food allergy i have. Had a gift card so had the make the trip to get some meat at Flemings. Overall no complaints. The service was great and the quality of the food was fantastic. My girlfriend really enjoyed the complementary champagne bread with cheddar butter. The steak was perfectly cooked medium rare and had a perfect crust as well. That 1400 degree boiler is putting in God's work. The calamari was good as well I like how we didn't have the option to have a dipping sauce they just poured it over an alpha move for sure. Wow my last review was 8 years ago! We've been back numerous times in those 8 years. This was our first time back since the world shit down. First off, the manager that night was the best! She was friendly, accommodating and personable. I didn't get her name but you'd know her if you met her: super super friendly! Wait staff was exemplary! They worked in pairs and complemented each other. Nothing was beyond what they could provide! Food was delicious as usual. The steaks were on point! In the past, it would be hit or miss but tonight they hit it exactly as requested. Get the seafood tower, it's worth it. The small tower was enough for our table of 7. We also ordered other apps so a tasting for everyone was perfect. Flemings potatoes are the best. Chose them over the mashed. read more
