Our server, Derek W., truly went above and beyond--attentive, warm, and incredibly professional. We will absolutely be requesting him every time we visit. We loved our seating, which made the evening feel even more special. The food was phenomenal--starting with the calamari, tuna, and caviar. The caviar was especially outstanding... absolutely delicious. And of course, you can never go wrong with their fresh bread. For entrées, my husband had the filet mignon and loved it. A group of 7 of us came here for dinner. We all commented on how high the prices were. One person in our group got a glass of wine at the bar and it was $16! I couldn't bear to spend the amount they charged for an entree, so I got the warm goat cheese salad, and my sister & I shared the crab fried rice. Both were delicious, but the price point was awfully high. Our server, Jessie (?) was very nice and efficient, but very, very rehearsed. I felt like she was over the top with the "Is everything tasting delicious this evening?" and other such comments. It almost seemed like she walked off a stage to be the server. But, her service was good, and she was very polite, waiting until people stopped talking before she started telling us whatever she needed to say. We have been to Eddie V's a few times for special celebrations, and they've knocked it out of the park each time. It's beautiful inside, you can tell they spent all the money on fit and finish. Service is impeccable. The servers and everyone you encounter is there to make sure your visit is memorable. It can get louder when they're busy (which seems to be all the time), but not overwhelmingly so. If you're having a celebration, you'll get special treatment, including a hand written note and a dessert sampler. Now on to the food - it's exceptional. Everything is priced for the high quality you're getting, and the portion sizes are generous. The calamari app is big enough for at least 2 people, and is the best I've ever had. I've seen a lot of people order a bunch of dishes, I'm not sure how anyone can eat an app, a salad, a main and a side, but more power to them. The steaks are top-notch and cooked and seasoned perfectly. I've also had seafood, it's amazing. If you get dessert, pick the bananas foster - it's beyond delicious (and who doesn't love something that gets set on fire at your table?). Make a reservation and let your experience start! I dined here with my parents, wife and brother's family recently for a special occasion. This restaurant is always a sure thing for us and this trip did not disappoint. The decor and staff are aleayd excellent, but obviously it's the food that matters most. We ordered a number of different seafood dishes to share and everything we consumed was either great amazing. My only complaint (and this is being nitpicky) was they did not have king crab legs in the shell, so when I did order the king crab it was brought to me already prepared in a dish. It was a little cold by the time it made its way to the table, but they gave me more meat than what the order was supposed to have to compensate so it was a win for me. We dined at Eddie V's for a birthday dinner. Upon arrival the live music was playing in the bar area which added a nice elegant touch to the evening. We had reservations and ended up waiting approximately 15 minutes still for our table. While this was unexpected I didn't let it completely change my opinion of the restaurant. During our reservation l indicated that we would be celebrating a birthday. We were pleasantly surprised to arrive to the table and find a sprinkling of rose petals and a card from Eddie V's. This was certainly a nice touch and made the wait at the door seem even more insignificant. BUT, once we were sat it took nearly 15 minutes before someone came over and asked us if we wanted water. They didn't take our cocktail order as they said they would come back to do so. Once we received our water it was 10 minutes later and it took nearly 25 minutes to receive our cocktail after ordering. The issue I don't believe was the restaurant itself but our waitress as the table that sat down 30 minutes after us received their drinks at the same time we did. Following that I ordered an appetizer and the appetizer was garnished with items not mentioned on the menu that I do not eat. When I shared this with the waitress, her response was "it is barely on the food"...in actuality it was on each item and I did not want it. When the food was remade it came back to the table over cooked. Finally, our entrees took a very long time to be delivered and were not very warm upon delivery to the table which tells me they had been sitting awhile.which is. It surprising given the ultra slow service from our waitress. This experience was subpar and not at all what I would have expected. Our waitress checked on the other tables that she was assigned multiple times and we had to flag her down anytime we had a need which was not that frequent but certainly legitimate. Based off of this experience I most likely would not dine at this location again as a special evening was met with frustration. read more

What a surprisingly delicious happy hour menu. The drinks were equally as good. Didn't quite enjoy the Cosmo as much but the bourbon smash was delicious. This is one of those restaurants you go to for a very special occasion and plan on spending a lot of money. My sons got Smoked Old Fashion Drinks that that basically prepare at your table. They both enjoyed the drinks. One son got the Lobster Bisque soup that that also assembled at our table. That was absolutely delicious and every drop was eaten or soaked up in the bread that was on the table. These are the entree's everyone ordered: 22 oz bone in ribeye with blue cheese crust and 2 stuffed shrimp, an 8 oz filet with 2 stuffed shrimp, the Hong Kong Sea Bass, and a 16 oz bone in filet with blue cheese crust. Awesome job today. One guess said the best lobster tail ever, they know what they are doing. Two others haf scallops, one cooked normal and the other extra. Both were on point good. And the salmon. Yes! They can cook some salmon. It was perfectly moist and seasoned to perfection. The last meal the guest like very much however, not my cup of tea. I have been dining at Eddie V's since they opened in Troy, Michigan today for the first time were issues. There is a serious GNAT problem also; as i was leaving i saw one of the workers putting bacon on a salad with no gloves well, PUT YOUR GLOVES ON. There was a young lady blonde taking orders and bringing food to tables leaving her scent behind (MUSK) don't know if it was in the clothe or just her however, it was bad and you're reaching over people. We were not looking for anything FREE but we had the manager CHRIS come to the table to let him know there was a problem...he informed us they were aware and had a treatment yesterday and another on the way. In closing, we should have followed our mind to get up and leave but had no idea it was that bad. On the other hand, the food was good as usual but my husband couldn't finish his wedge salad for trying to keep the gnats away. 7/1/23 Zach and I came here with his parents for a 7PM dinner reservation. There is a parking lot outside the restaurant. We got there around 6:30PM and the staff was able to accommodate us. Our waiter that evening was Andrew, who was very pleasant and friendly. Here's what we got: - Georges bank scallops (mine) - Calamari (for the table) - Grilled asparagus (for the table) - A side of mac and cheese (for the table) - Lamb Chops (Zach's) - Red dragon (drink for me) - Lobster bisque (his) I can't remember what his parents got for entrees and apps, but they said it was all good and they have come to Eddie V's many times before. The Red Dragon drink was refreshing and tart. The calamari dish was surprisingly a lot (to share for 4 people) and tasted great. The scallops tasted good, but I wish it had more to go with it. Ordering the asparagus and the mac and cheese for the table helped, but since I was sharing with 3 other people, I was still hungry when we left (even after dessert XD). Those side dishes were pretty standard. Zach said his lobster bisque was good and the lamb chops were cooked perfectly. At the end of the dinner, they gave us a dessert trio plate since Zach's parents mentioned we were celebrating an early birthday dinner for Zach. The mini banana foster was deliciously sweet and warm, and the vanilla ice cream was a nice cold complement to it. Overall, the dinner was nice and the staff was pleasant. We started with Point Judith calamari, smoked old fashion ( smooth and surprisingly a lil sweet)for hubby, and 24 karat for me). I came here for dinner, and it was fairly crowded. The parking lot was full of cars-some very fancy. Since it was my first time here, I had pretty high expectations from what I had heard about the restaurant Burrata and Heirloom Salad- The Italian burrata didn't taste particularly fresh. I've had fresh mozzarella and burrata where the fresh cream flavor comes through and coats your tongue, but this tasted nothing special. The heirloom tomatoes were similary underwhelming. The extra virgin olive oil was bland with none of the grassy and peppery notes that you get with a good oil. Since this is a dish with straghtforward ingredients, they have to be of the highest quality and unfortunately this wasn't met. Prime Bone-in New York Strip- I didn't expect this steak to be so plainly presented. Usually there's some type of garnish or something for this price point, but it was literally a hunk of meat on an otherwise empty plate. I guess they wanted room for the sides. I had the crab fried rice, which blew me away. There were generous pieces of crab and the rice was cooked perfectly. The truffled macaroni and cheese was so-so, the pasta was on the softer side but I felt that they used too much of the "truffle oil" (AKA artificial flavoring that you get in a bottle) since it was very heavy. The grilled asparagus was as expected. I wish I had ordered the Chilean Sea Bass-it was steamed and came in a bamboo steamer basket so points for presentation. I heard it was delicious. Banana Foster's Butter Cake- This was the star of the show, literally a show. It was flambeed at the table and certainly impressive. It was warm and contrasted nicely with the butter pecan ice cream. The pacing of the meal was perfect, not rushed but well thought out with several recommendations. Of course the food is amazing, but the atmosphere is great as well. Just the right amount of privacy and energy with comfortable booths or tables. The bar has some fantastic drinks, and the bar staff helped us kill some time before out reservation. I definitely recommend making a reservation and arriving a little beforehand if you can. There is usually a singer and piano player in the bar at night, and it really made for a fun evening.
