The ambience here leans semi-formal, though several casually dressed patrons gave it a mixed feel. The open floor plan creates a lively but noisy environment--great for energy, but not ideal if you're hoping for an intimate dinner. We arrived with a large party and were not seated in the available private room, which contributed to the noise, but overall, the atmosphere was still enjoyable. For a Saturday evening, the restaurant was not particularly busy. The food was good overall, but not spectacular, especially for the cost. With a few minor adjustments, the kitchen could elevate the experience to something excellent. The bread service was a standout--warm, soft hunks of sourdough that set a wonderful start to the meal. We began with the Hot Appetizer Platter, followed by calamari, and spinach artichoke dip. The calamari, prepared with a tempura batter, was unusual but came out soggy and disappointing. The spinach artichoke dip was heavy and cheese-forward but not particularly memorable--something I wouldn't order again. Moving on to the next course, we ordered the King Crab & Corn Bisque and Grilled Romaine salad. The bisque is rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. The grilled romaine salad sounded intriguing but proved underwhelming. It was, however, very large and could easily be shared by four, making it a practical choice for groups. Our mains included the sea bass and the restaurant's signature Steak Del Mar. My steak was cooked perfectly, but lacked seasoning. The Dijon crab sauce that accompanied it was cold, with only a spoonful of crab on top. With more seasoning on the steak and a warmer, bolder sauce, this dish could live up to its signature promise. My son ordered the New Orleans Mixed Grill, which he said was good but also under-seasoned, while my mother's steak arrived plain with nothing else on the plate. Sauces are offered à la carte from a long list, leaving guests to guess which might pair well. A better approach would be to offer a small variety or at least include the house sauce with the dish. Sides are traditional but very generous. The baked potato was massive--large enough for four to share. The creamed spinach is essentially the spinach artichoke dip without the artichokes, more cheese base than cream, and not something I'd call true creamed spinach. We also ordered the Brussels sprouts, which were very good and cooked properly. The service was the highlight of the evening. Ryan, our server, was outstanding from start to finish. He handled our group with professionalism, warmth, and attentiveness. One moment in particular stood out: when he noticed a guest hesitating with the soup, he immediately sensed it wasn't hot enough and took it back to be reheated without waiting for a complaint. That kind of proactive attentiveness is rare and deserves recognition. He was also patient with our older guests, kept drinks filled, and made the guest of honor feel celebrated. Ryan went above and beyond several times and deserves recognition. This restaurant positions itself as a special-occasion spot, and the pricing reflects that. Overall, the food fell short of expectations, but with small adjustments--better seasoning, clearer sauce pairings, and more consistency--the menu could become outstanding. As it stands, the service shines brightest, and Ryan's exceptional care and attention turned a good evening into a memorable one. I give it 3 stars overall, but if broken out, 2 for food and value, and 5 for service.

Filet Mignon - 8 oz. Oscar style

Really great service and ambience. The food and drinks were amazing. Definitely a great place for a nice dinner or celebration.

Side of grilled Brussel Sprouts with Bacon. Very good and enough to share.

This visit was absolutely five stars. We went to enjoy "Steaks Around the World." We both had the French Beef Bordelaise. It was an exceptional 8 oz filet with crispy pommel Darphin (a potato dish) . The caramelized shallots and wild mushrooms with silky Bordelaise sauce was also exceptional and made the dish very tasty. We sat in the main dining room is has a great atmosphere. Our service was good. We took our own bottle of wine. The corkage charge was $25.

5 stars for their Happy Hour! I hadn't been here before but the HH menu looked great & it was Galentine's (Feb 13th) The bartenders are fantastic and so are the cocktails: Berry White martini top choice! We had the filet mignon sliders $15, filet mignon pot stickers and ahi over tuna wontons both $10 and all are a great deal I don't eat meat but my friend loved the filets and I loved the ahi tuna- really good deal for $10 This is def the best HH spot in the area- full cocktail list $5 off during HH!

Filet Oscar style that was served cold with the side of peppercorn sauce we requested on the side, poured over. Filet Mignon - 8 oz.

Zero stars if possible. 7:45 PM New Year's Eve reservation. Arrived at 7:52 after calling ahead due to worsening snow. Valet took 10 minutes, then we walked through 2" of snow into a lobby with slippery floors where guests were actively slipping. Waited 5-10 minutes to check in, then stood around with no communication. After 30 minutes, we asked for an update and were met with an eye roll and told--only after pressing--that 15 reservations were ahead of us. We were finally seated at 8:45 PM, an hour late. Ordered apps and entrées around 9:00. Apps arrived and they came out delicious. We finished our apps and soup by 9:40. Entrées didn't arrive until 10:30 PM--and were cold. Steak and sea bass cold, Brussels sprouts undercooked and soggy, filet Oscar served with peppercorn sauce poured on despite requesting it on the side. The GM, Jason, came over visibly irritated. His solution? "Do you want me to warm it up?" No apology. No ownership. After nearly 3 hours, he finally comped the entrées and walked away. To say we were dumbfounded is not even a strong enough emotion for what we were feeling. Our food was served at a temperature that belongs in a refrigerator, not a dining room This was New Year's Eve. We were dressed up for a special night and instead arrived at our next destination minutes before midnight. A restaurant that fails this badly on one of the biggest nights of the year doesn't deserve another chance.

I ordered the salmon which was cooked just perfectly. With a side of broccoli and mashed potatoes. This restaurant is located on the corner of a busy intersection connected to other businesses so it's easy to miss. They do have valet parking so you can easily get parking taken care of. The service was very attentive. We had great wine, service, appetizers, entrée, and desserts. Overall, a great experience I would recommend.

It's always a busy time for establishments, especially when it comes to holidays, but we repeatedly kept getting seated and "unseated" (the hostess would seat us, but then take us back to common area as the tables were either dirty or not ready). I didn't personally care about this, but I definitely noticed my party getting a bit frustrated by the experience as it happened about 4 times before we officially got seated, which also exceeded our initial reservation time. The service itself was okay. I wish they would've come around a bit more as we were out of water while eating our meal, but I know it was super busy that day!! I ended up getting the soft shell crab sandwich and it was pretty good! I think it would be even tastier with more sauce on the bun, but overall a nice pick. I also tried the lobster bisque; it had a nice texture with the little lobster bits, but found it overly salty. Hush puppies were a nice, crispy texture and I loved the sweet butter with it! One thing I absolutely loved about this experience was the mother's day flower pop-up stand! The cutest way to walk in and support another local business.

I do want to start with some thoughts before I give the highlights. We were charged a percent for using a credit card. I cannot speak to the in-person menu, but I combed the online menu and it did not mention that. We were also charged for ranch. Most places do not do that, and we were not informed there would be an upcharge. Most places allow you a sauce to go with fries. Also, for my meal, there is an image of an extra sauce which it did not come with, but we were charged for two small portions of ranch. Last, the server was just okay. I always enthusiastically ask questions to get to know more about a place. I asked if they had any other fruity drinks. She pointed to the drink menu and indicated just the Paloma. I said, but you have a full bar, this is the only fruity drink you make? She did not want to ask the bar, but I asked her to. The bar apparently only came up with one other drink idea, which I ended up getting two drinks listed on the menu (both very good) but it seemed like work for her to go out of her way to inquire. I also bet they could have made many fruity drinks, like maybe a Mai Tai, or some equivalent. Oh well. On the other hand, the Paloma was actually very good. It was a quality Paloma and I do recommend. Their other drink was seasonal with lavender, also a very nice drink. Most of the other places, like Honcho, I have no problem with getting a variety of drinks or inquiring about them, and the bar tender here did a great job. I came here because I was targeted by an ad on Instagram. This place was not on my radar, but since they created a meal (Steak-frites) very similar to Le Relais in Paris and New York, etc... I wanted to try it. It came with bottomless parm fries. The fries were crispy, savory, and delightful. The steak was super well cooked and was like butter. You did not even need a knife, it cut with a fork. Since I love next day leftovers, the steak was still super delicious and tender the next day. It was still like butter and cut with a fork. I would absolutely come back for that and bring the rest of my family. We also tried the tri-tip sandwich. We were told the bread was made fresh. I thought it was very good and very tender. My husband would have liked an au jus or horseradish sauce. He would try the hamburger next, but I would love another steak-frites, like right now! We were sad the coffee and pastry section closed early. In the past, at Honcho, we would get coffee and pastry after dinner since their coffee tends to be really good and quality. I would consider coming for brunch to try some. We talked to a gentleman who was part of the business as he was working hard. He was very kind and knowledgeable and took the time to hear our thoughts. I told him I was here for the steak. He thought I had a "but". I did not, it was great and I hope they can maintain that price point and the second serving of fries, because that was my main reason for visiting. He let us know the menu recently changed. I am not able to compare since this was my first time, but I liked that they had a steak dinner and pizza. If we come back my oldest loves this group's pizza, she gets it at Vinsetta, and this one looked very good.

The…read morequality and consistency are great, though I honestly think the meat would shine even more as a traditional 1/4 or 1/2 pound patty rather than a smash burger. A thicker cut would really let you taste the high-quality flavor of the beef. If you're going to order, here are a few pro tips: Get the sauce on the side: It's an excellent sauce, but you are much better off dipping. Otherwise, the burger will totally get drenched and lose the meat flavor profile. The bacon situation: They smash little bits of bacon directly into the patty. You can barely taste it this way, and it would be significantly better just served as traditional strips on top. So I would prob get it without next time. The Tallow Fries: These have huge potential, but unfortunately, mine arrived pretty soggy via delivery. I should have thrown them in the air fryer to crisp them back up, as I know they would be amazing fresh out of the fryer dripping in tallow. And they would have worked much better as larger almost steak cut fries to let the tallow flavor shine more. However as i ate them, i would still choose cajun 5 guys fries well done over them. My order for a burger and fries came to almost $40 (including tip) through their delivery service. Is it worth that price point for a delivery order? Probably not.
