I would like to start off by saying that my wife and I have been to Eddies several times and have had a good experience on most of those occasions. Their wings are very good and it is difficult to find a better wing around the area. However, the last two times we have been there, the service has been terribly slow and not accurate on the orders. That being said, last nights experience (3/5/2019) was the biggest let down and if it weren't for the several positive visits, I would have given this place 2 stars. This particular outing was our first night there on a Tuesday and to my surprise was fried chicken night. This is another meal that can be hard pressed to find in our location without leaving Edmond. With their reputation and personal experience with their wings, I was stoked! To make this even more of a joy, they had several flavors of fried chicken that you could receive and one of those being Nashville Hot Chicken style. (My wife and I met in Nashville nearly 10 years ago and I'm a huge fan of this style of chicken. If you haven't had a chance to experience this flavor, and you like things spicy, I encourage you to do so!) I ordered this and the wife ordered blackened chicken Alfredo and a side salad. To keep from rambling on, the salad never came, we asked our waitress about it before the meal came and said it was too crazy in here and that she hadn't gotten the opportunity to check on it. Food came out, she never received said salad, my order came out wrong but was fixed. I ordered a breast and thigh with fries Nashville hot style. This was not traditional fried chicken as it was all boneless, but the most disappointing part was what they claimed to be Nashville style was literally their buffalo style sauce. I ended up with buffalo chicken that was boneless. Her pasta was dry and without flavor. If you are going to put something on the menu, please don't sell a fake good. Please state that it's boneless and just say it's buffalo sauce. Nashville style is completely different and nothing like buffalo sauce. I know this went long and I apologize. So this is my first review I've ever written... but I felt it was necessary. Janae was our server and she basically did nothing the whole time. We got waters and my fiancé wanted a beverage but when she asked for a recommendation, our server literally walked away. After this we did not see her for 20 minutes, in those 20 minutes of sitting, we got our food, we got refills on our drinks from two different people. Our wings were bone-in when we asked for boneless and so that was also disappointing as how we were both set on boneless. We waited 5-10 minutes to see if she would come back so we could let her know because we would've waited for the boneless but she literally never came... The whole time she was sitting in a booth in the middle of the restaurant, polishing silverware and laughing with a coworker... She eventually came over WHILE we were eating and dropped the tab. She was rushing us out of there it felt like and as soon as I put my card down she walked over from the booth to pick it up. She came back with it, i signed, and then she ASKED for it back while we were still dining. I have never not tipped 20%+ until tonight. It was really disappointing... Hands down,if you are looking for great food and great prices you have to try eddies, Honestly you will want to come back and try something else. The staff is amazing and service is on spot. Food: 2.5/5 wings taste more like bar food but with a smoked flavor. Cheese fries had a sugar flavor sprinkled (odd flavor) on top Service: 3/5 the staff was very nice but not skilled in restaurant servicing. Intially we had to wait 10 min for waitress to show up for drink orders. They came around 3 more times but then never saw again until we asked another server for check. Atmosphere: 3.5/5 clean, plenty of tvs, dark but lame for a Friday. Came in around 5pm for buffalo wings and cheese fries. It was definitely slow for Friday. No one at host stand until we walked past bar. I had with me 3 guys over 6 feet tall and we were sat in a smaller booth on far wall under tv. Haha! We got up and moved ourselves after no service for 10 min to ask for move. The wait staff were definitely very nice just not sure they are capable to handle any more then the 5 groups. They did have a big party of about 15 worked by one waiter. Again, wait staff very friendly. There were 3 other waiters working. We ate our food as described above and just wanted to leave the low action bar. Had a tough time finding waitress as she was no where seen for about 8 min. Overall we have never visited this establishment in the 5 yrs of living in Edmond and will not have a hankering for it in the next 5 yrs. read more

I have been here several times over the years and had pretty good experience. Good is usually pretty good. Sometimes it comes out cold and drink (cocktail) pricing is a little high. However. My daughter and I went there recently and unfortunately it was Awful. I ordered the ribeye. MR. which came out as a tough sirloin cooked medium to medium well and was not good. Couldn't hardly chew it. My daughter had salmon. She took one bite. Could see the disappointment. We switched. She didn't like my terribly made steak and her salmon was cooked and dry. Disgusting. Waiter inquired if we were okay. But never addressed why we didn't eat our food. $68 bucks to come home hungry and disappointed. We didn't say anything because we were so disappointed and didn't want more awful food to be in replacement. Unfortunately we will No longer be their customer. No longer will I tell others about this place. It was yuck. Two easiest things to make and no care by staff. read more

This place is great! Wings are amazing. We enjoyed the buffalo and garlic Parmesan as well as the potato skins and fries!

Eddie's was a surprisingly good bar and restaurant. I was looking for a place to quickly pick up a hot take-out meal and this place jumped out at me from the yelp list. It was close to where I was staying and although there are many good steakhouses in the area I wanted to just eat at my rental and relax. Within 15 minutes I had three perfectly cooked rib eyes and delicious sides for me and my fellow travelers. We liked the taste and quality of the food so much we got several other items for dinner two days later. The porkchop was also very good as was the shrimp appetizer. I'd definitely recommend this spot if you like a little dive kind of vibe but with friendly fast service and a really good food. read more

As we walked up to the opening we saw the hostess keep sticking her head around the corner to see if any customers were coming. It was weird, as she did it several times before we got to the opening. When we walked into the restaurant itself, it was very nondescript. The walls are gray the ceiling black some large white lights hang throughout the ceiling with light that is just a little too bright. We didn't notice any decor other than some string lights hanging on the wall by the entrance way. There were several t.v.s. I commented to my husband, "this must be some kind of sports bar", there was nothing other than sports on t.v. to let you know. Now for the meal, oh my!! We requested two drinks a salty dog and a cape cod (which was the drink of the day). I saw my husband's face when he took a sip of the drink and knew something was wrong. I took a sip and almost gagged. It was nasty! How do you screw up vodka and grapefruit juice? As for the cape cod, I could see through the plastic glass it was in. It tasted watered down. I couldn't see our waitress around so summoned the hostess and told her we were sending these drinks back as they were no good. She said, "just a minute", walked over to the seating girl and that was that. When our waitress finally arrived we explained the situation and sent the drinks back. She was very accommodating and asked if we would like a different drink. I told her, "if they can't make a salty dog or cape cod, I'll just pass on anything else". Now for the food. We ordered the buffalo chicken appetizer. When it cam out it was served in a large flat white bowl. My husband looked at me and said, " doesn't look like very much". I agreed but the problem turned out it was more than enough for an appetizer it was just served wrong. If it had been served in a smaller bowl surrounded by the chips it would have been a better presentation. As for the flavor, it was very good. We did enjoy it. We both ordered the Eddie's burger which was a little too greasy for me but my husband liked it fine. I don't know if it was worth $9, but I'm not sure any normal hamburger is worth that much. The french fries were inedible in my world. I commented to the waitress that the french fries were basically cold and had no crispness to them at all. They were like a thawed out frozen french fry. She explained they were "hand" cut. I asked her does the chef (and I use the term loosly) fry the twice? She looked as me as if I was crazy and said, "no". I told her to suggest it to him as they would be much crisper. Guess the "chef" never read Joy of Cooking. And after all of this, they did nothing to make up for the bad drinks (they were kind enough not to charge us for them, as the waitress informed us) and soggy inedible fries. My husband went to warm up the truck as I waited to pay the bill. When I left I saw a togo container sitting on a display table between the men and ladies room (these are outside the restaurant). I wondered what that was about. When I got to the truck, my husband explained what happened. Another customer had come out and placed it there saying "They can keep this crap. I am never coming back here again. Eddie better get it together or he won't be there next year at this time. read more

I went here a while back for dinner. I met some friends that were already there. They'd been there for about 45 minutes before I got there. Right when I sat down they told me I should order a beer right then because it'll take about 10 minutes to get it. I laughed it off and ordered my beer. No joke, it took 10 minutes to get this beer. I'd see the waitress going around the restaurant but no beer in hand. Finally when I got it, I made the mistake of ordering an appetizer. It took 22 minutes to get my food. It was insane. A table came in after I got there and they got their food before me. All of them. All 4 of them. And all I ordered was one of the appetizers. The people I was with (5 other people) said it took just as long to get their food too. The place wasn't even busy. They maybe had 2 or 3 other tables with a few people. The food was decent but with how long we had to wait I'd never go back. Not sure what was going on with this place but I hope they got it worked out. read more

So good! I had the Eddie's burger, and it was quite tasty. Hand formed patty plenty of juicy goodness and the heat was right. I'd like to see some fresh cracked black pepper on the bacon, but it was still good. They made the meat the center of attention which is what a burger should be about. The chargrilled marks aren't for show or fake those are real char marks, and you can taste the difference. The hand cut fries were done and not greasy. They have several MIO beers including offerings from COOP and Anthem on tap. We also had the wings. They aren't the typical deep fried crap you normally get. These bad boys are grilled with nice little charred edges, then hit with Eddie's sauce. Hell I'm likely to go in for lunch and just have wings and a F5. Eddie was working the floor, not grabassing actually working. I like seeing the owner really involved, it adds serious credibility to the operation. Our waitress Sydney was on point and was very good. The atmosphere was clean and well kept. No BS electronic table candles but actual candles, it's a nice touch. The bar area is nice and there are plenty of TVs to keep up with the game. It was nice because the music was on but not so loud that you had to shout at each other. We will be back and with friends, it's Edmonds best kept new secret. I doubt it will be that for long because it's a really great place to unwind and have a bite. Eddie I would have given 5stars but there isn't a chicken fried steak on the menu. If I had to guess you could do a kickass made from scratch chicken fried steak. read more

I'm not seeing this as even close to 5 star. This place got the 3rd star from me for what I saw as truly excellent friendly service. I had the Cheese Fries & the Smoked burger. Cheese fries are forgettable. I agree with the other reviewer that the fries are under cooked & the ranch was like out of a Kraft bottle. The smoke burger patty was tasty. Good flavor & was cooked nicely. I really hope they make some adjustments and go to a fresh made menu vs food service brands because they seem like really good people and genuinely want you to feel welcome. read more

The food was fantastic. I took my family of four and we all shared a bite. Everything was very good. Chicken Wings lived up to the expectation, burger was flame grilled. Pasta and Sizzling Chicken also really good. Price was fair and only reason for 4 vs 5 stars is they were understaffed the night we were there (Sunday) and it took a long time to get our food. Probably one of the worst sports bars that I have been to. Slow service, poor on-tap beer selection, and over priced drinks. A 12 oz can of Coop F5 and bottle of Sam Adams Boston Lager was almost $14.00. Only 4 draft beers and you call this a sports bar? Came to watch the OU-KSU game and was sat in a both to watch the game. The 2 closest screens were showing the OSU- KSU game. Asked for one of the screens to be changed to the OU game, which they did for 5 minutes but they changed it back to the OSU game when we said we were just there for drinks. Went there for the first time thinking it would be a good idea. Everything was good but then when my friend asked for a drink and he showed him the new state ID that just came out and he was denied because they thought he was showing them a fake ID. But after they passed it around they finally asked the owner and he denied him again. I wasn't that worried I just asked if we could speak to him but we were told he was "too busy doing a draft with his buddies" so right then I felt kinda disrespected because I couldn't get 5 minutes of his time as a costumer who came in to dine at his establishment. Then after that he finally came over to talk to us, but that's when I felt the most DISRESPECTED by the business owner because the entire time we were trying to show him the new IDs that just came out back in April, he kept trying to walk away like we couldn't get literally 5 minutes of his time to talk and get some answers. To me it seemed like chilling with his buddies was more important than his costumers that come in to enjoy his establishment. WORST and I mean the WORST fucking ownership there is. Yes I am young, but I have met a lot of people that own business' and he is by FAR the worst owner I have ever met. The fact that he couldn't give his costumers 5 minutes he kept trying to walk away. I loved this place when it was at 2nd and Bauman, but the past 3 times I went to Eddies ever since they moved has been SEVERELY disappointing. The service (which was meh in the first place) is just bad here. Orders seem like they get mismatched or just flat out wrong. Now I get it. New restaurant, new bearings, but this happened each time I came to the restaurant. The server would always be nice and be quick to address it, but that meant you had to wait ANOTHER 15-20 minutes for food again. While I think this location suits the style of Eddie's much more, it's clear they were not ready for reopening. And don't even get me started on the cramped tables during this COVID season. They should've kept this place closed until they were positive they reopened. My advice is to steer way clear of this place for a while. I was a hardcore fanboy of this place until they opened again. My husband and I ate here for the first time on Sunday afternoon. We started with a Dominican Rum Punch to drink which was so tasty! We then had the Eddie's Wings for our appetizer. These were exceptional! Probably the best wings I have ever had. The wing sauce is thick and rich. I then had the Club Sandwich and the hubs had the Eddie's Burger. Both were very good. These came with thick cut fries which made my husband very happy. The location appeared to be very clean, including the bathrooms (very important to me). Bottom line: the food was very good, prices very reasonable, friendly staff, good atmosphere. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because they were playing "new country" music which didn't seem to fit the atmosphere. I'm sure they play other genres at other times. read more

Over and over they continue to insult my etiquette level with their uneducated lack of common sense poor service! This is not the first time WE HAD TO ASK for silverware and napkins AFTER you placed our hot food....AND this is NOT the first time we asked for our wing sauce on the side and yet they choose to toss it on them!! Once it was on a Togo order and they put all 20 wings in the order of 4 different sauces in the same container....it was mystery wing night for sure!! Last night We did ask for the sides of ranch and celery when they were offered at the time of our order but delivery without repeated requests is the only way they actually bring them to you...when we asked for silverware, there were 2 of us he said how many would you like Overall as always the service was unacceptable, the wings were dry and we had to work harder for our dinner then they did!
