We were visiting the area and looking for a lunch spot. Eddie's popped up on my Google search and we went there. The food was great and so was the service. I had a sandwich and my wife had a burger. We both had french fries and they were cooked perfectly. I will definitely eat there again next time in area. read more

Time to update! I struggled between leaving my rating a 2 or bumping it up to a 3. Here's how it went! Ordered the western or w/e its called, I was really craving a turkey burger, we also got the kids meal chicken strips. The western was so over sauced my bf could only take three bites when it completely fell apart and he was over it by that point. He said the taste was good.... The kids strips are super yummy, the fries that they came with were actually enough to share (we did also add one more combo, we choose onion rings, bomb! ) My turkey burger had the same issues as my bf's. Waaay oversauced and as a result it completely fell apart at which point i had to fork and knife it up. Taste was really good. All in all, I bumped up the rating based on taste alone. If we go in the future, I will ask for any and all sauces to be put on the side. read more

It's so important to support our local businesses especially during COVID-19. They have excellent food and customer service as well.

We came from out of town visiting Solvang, but stayed in Lompac since the hotel was more affordable. We heard rave reviews about this place so we decided to check it out. This place was pretty big, had tv sets placed around the restaurant showing sports games, and they have country music playing overhead. The cashier/employee was incredibly sweet and patient. Our grandma has a restricted diet so we ordered her the special of the day, Chicken Chipotle Wrap, but asked for them to remove the BBQ sauce, which they did happily. It also came with a side of tortilla chips. She said it was very good. Two of us ordered the Santa Barbara Burger (since it was one of the most Yelped burgers) and requested the addition of jalapenos. Both were unanimous that the burger was awesome. One of us got the Spicy Kick Burger and it was also very good and spicy. I got the Hawaiian Burger and it was pretty good but wished there was more teriyaki sauce. We ordered side orders of chili cheese fries (good ol' fatty chili cheese fries), sweet potato fries (very sweet and delicious), special of the day garlic fries (good but nothing special), and their famous onion rings (which I recommend to everyone!). I should mention the burgers are HUGE. Definitely good bang for your buck. Stop on by for some good burgers! read more

I really liked when Eddies had breakfast downtown, it was really good. The breakfast at the one in the village was terrible. Very low quality and just not good at all. Wish they would have the same type they had downtown when they had it there. With the other breakfast restaurant just across the way, they won't last with people that want a good tasting breakfast. read more

Lompoc is lucky to have this place. A good selection on the menu including burgers, sandwiches, and some really good salads. Friendly and respectful employees, nice and clean facilities and some casual country music playing on the radio. read more

Not the one to come on here and talk about my experiences with local restaurants but this was by far the worst experience I've had at eddies grill. Out of all the times we've gone here and had no issues don't get me wrong the food is amazing but this was totally uncalled for me n my boyfriend went there tonight and got a tri tip sandwich and a Santa Barbara Cobb and when we get home I start eating my salad and I find a balled up piece of plastic wrap inside the salad. I called and the guy on the phone said to give him a min and he would get the manager and I guess he forgot to press mute because they were in the back ground laughing like it was funny. read more

I really enjoyed our visit to eddies. We had a group of 4 (including a gluten free) and everyone found something we could eat. Atmosphere is a bit plain jane, but the service and food makes up for it. Our gluten free colleague got a salad, the rest of us various burgers. I also got the onion rings, because they are the beer batter type versus the bread crumb bland. I was tempted to go back for some more, but figured I would restrain myself. The shakes were very good. Have always been satisfied with my food at Eddie's. Tonight's, was the worst burger and fries! Fries tasted sta, e and the burger had no flavor at all. I ordered the mushroom Swiss burger. Nobody at all in the place at 6 p.m. in a Thursday, which was strange. However, if this is the way they have been doling out 2 burgers and one French fry order for 25.45... maybe that alone explains. I love coming here! They do not always get it right, and they get bogged down on busy days, but it beats a lot of other places. I've gone often enough that I am satisfied 90% of the time. Those few times I was not happy were when the oil wasn't hot enough to crisp the fries and rings, or when they misplaced a topping on the burger. (I always customize.) Great service, too. This place is delicious. I ordered the Patty Melt. Very good flavor and not to greasy. Good size for the price. Unfortunately it doesn't come with fries, so you have to order them. A strong entry into what I'll call the "fresh burger" restaurants. My wife and I love a good burger with fresh toppings and stumbled onto this place during a recent trip. Walk in, grab a menu and make your way to the counter to order. Lots of burgers to choose from, with a great assortment of topping options. I had the Spicy Kick Burger and my wife had the Bacon Loaded Burger. The patties tasted very fresh and were perfectly cooked: juicy and not a hint of overdone dryness. The buns weren't dry either, and all the fixin's were fresh. We also shared onion rings and fries and both were as good as anywhere we've gone. Oh, there's a little thing called "Pickle Fries" happening too. We're fans of fried pickles so we indulged and ordered them too. These weren't the usual slices or spears. They were actually cut like french fries! Long, skinny and definitely delicious. The milk shakes looked awesome too, made from actual ice cream and not powder poured into a machine. Next time back I'll be sure to try one of their sandwiches, all of which looked as good as the burgers from what we saw being delivered to other tables. Definitely best place in town a lil of everything to choose from. Clean, friendly and affordable. TV and beer and the soda machines are awesome lots to choose from. This was my first time here, and I have to say it's a nice spot with pretty good menu options. The burger overall was good, however, the PATTY was not the best, which is the reason for the 3 star rating. Maybe this was an isolated issue, but my patty was overly charred which ruined the burger for me. Aside from that, the fries, onion rings and sides are good!
