My daughter and I had a wonderful breakfast here. Great service and delicious food. We shared the sausage and onion frittata (the side of breakfast potatos stole the show). We also shared the yogurt parfait ..... only complaint is that it could have been heavier on yogurt and lighter on oats.... But delicious and a beautiful as well. This is wonderful little hidden gem that is as delicious as it is cute. It's family run and does a very good breakfast. Everything we tried here was yummy goodness and served with love. The plates are on the smaller end for breakfast but the food is quality and given much attention to getting temperatures and flavors right. The potatoes were so good I refused to add any ketchup or anything else, they were just crisp, warm and sooo sooo good. The pancakes were beautiful and had just enough sweetness and you must get a cappuccino or two! Mama is on hand to ensure everyone is well taken care of. Mama's Caffe is such a gem! The space is incredible--there's a beautiful seating room in the front, cozy café seating in the middle, and a huge room in the back. I've been twice so far and absolutely love it. The first time was for a Foodbank event I hosted, and we used the back seating area. Working with Francesca was a total delight--she's so friendly and helpful. She worked within our budget and helped make the event a huge success. We did a volunteer appreciation breakfast, and everyone raved about the food! They served quiche, breakfast potatoes, and pastries--everything was amazing. The quiche was fresh and delicious, the pastries were the perfect bite-sized treats, and the potatoes were unlike any I've had before. I'm not usually a breakfast potato girly, but these were the best I've ever had! We also offered coffee and tea for our guests, which was a nice touch. More recently, my husband and I stopped in for brunch because I couldn't stop talking about how good it is. I had the quiche and potatoes again (yes, they're that good!), along with an almond milk cappuccino and a mimosa. My husband had the meatball sandwich and loved it--it was massive! All of the staff are so friendly, and honestly, the best part might be chatting with Mama herself. She's the sweetest. We'll definitely be back soon to try more! read more

I went to Mama's Caffe for a dinner to go, using my birthday gift card that was just over a year old and they honored it without hesitation! I used part of it for an amazingly delicious plate of spaghetti bolognese with meatball and sausage!!! And a dinner salad with a nice rustic bread, crunchy on the outside, soft and delicious on the inside! The family that runs the restaurant are so nice and kind. When you hear the word "Mama's " you immediately think of comfort, of love, of family. These are the feelings I got on a recent experience with them. I had just been discharged from a major surgery, and I literally hadn't eaten in days. My doctor was on me for not eating so I decided to order from one of my faves - Mama's. My door dasher texted me from the resto and told me that majority of my orders were unavailable. I called my dasher , and my very much in pain self begged her to bring me anything at this point. She did - with a lot of help and love obviously from Mama's. They sent me a comforting, picker upper meal, and well wishes for my recovery. We hadn't been to this location in many years. I had recently heard good things about it so we decided to give it a try. All four of us loved our food. Two had omelets and two had sandwiches. The food was fresh, tasty and very generous in portion size. The service was excellent, and everyone was very friendly. What a great place! The restaurant is just lovely. Terrific photos adorn the walls of this bright and cheery spot that was super clean and charming. Our server was friendly and attentive, and really seemed to care about not only the customers but the business. The pride was evident. Terrific cafe. Very cute, good food, excellent service. I was here on a Saturday at lunchtime and got seated right away. They have many breakfast and non breakfast items on their menu. I saw sandwiches brought out and they were ginormous. Paintings hung all over the walls. This place is MUCH bigger than it looks on the outside and would hold a large party in the enclosed patio area. I recommend this place to eat. read more

We went here Sunday morning for breakfast. This is an utterly confusing place. Of the three outside entrances the only one open is near the street. As we entered we saw tables that hadn't been cleared and nobody to assist us in finding a table. After we found a table in the back room it took about 10 minutes for the server to appear. They have a limited menu and high prices. The service is bad and the food was served lukewarm. Had to request flatware after we had already gotten our food. A wonderful and Sensational experience. Stayed at this little quaint town of Lompoc and stumble across Mama's Cafe. Called up the establishment and was greeted by a staff member who quickly transferred me over to the owner, Mama! One of my go-to breakfast items is corned beef hash which this establishment does not normally carry but mama had no problem fulfilling this special order for me. I told her that I would be there in 30 minutes and she said that she would go get the ingredients and have it all ready for me when I got there. Upon entering the front door we were immediately impressed by the wall to wall to wall decor and artwork. We were greeted by Mama's grandson and then by Mama herself. She made my family and me feel right at home with her warm smile and personality. Our food arrived well-plated and tasted amazing. We were out of town when Mama's opened and we finally made it here to try it out! WOW - Mama has made this place beautiful, it is bright and the interior decorations are wonderful. We came for a brunch and had the homemade spinach and mushroom quiche and sausage frittata - delicious! We had the banana crepes special for "dessert" - so yummy! The coffee is strong like great Italian coffee. Mama was here to greet us. There is no other upscale breakfast/brunch restaurant like this in Lompoc. Highly recommend! read more

I Have no idea what these people are saying its 5 star , this is at most a 2 star operation with a guise as a 4 star at best. Took 10 mins to be seated and staff kept looking at us like we were stupid while waiting for a table the fact was not that it took 10 mins to be seated but 10 mins to be acknowledged that we wanted a table. The Staff also has no clue what the other is doing. No systems in place, Servers did not even have their specials written down so we would ask what the special was and they would said hold on let me check, the fresh flowers were nice on the tables but had bugs , The Ambiance of the restaurant was cheap and tacky and mis matched .... This is our new fave! Been here once a week since they opened! I have had the pesto chicken, which was so delicious. The veggie sandwich is so good, I had it with the tomato soup and that was also amazing!
