I'll start by saying that I am by far the pickiest guy I know when it comes to cars in general, and especially paint matching on auto body repairs. I have owned several cars with prior paintwork, and not a single one of them ever stopped bugging me, and not a single other person in my life ever even noticed. So, that's me. Let's talk about Eddie's Paint Works: I absolutely cannot recommend Eddie and the team here highly enough. They repaired my wife's Ford Mustang Mach-E (got hit on the passenger's door) with a warm pearl white paint color - not an easy color to nail. I absolutely, positively, CANNOT tell that the car was ever hit, nor that it was partially repainted and blended. It's incredible. I'm simply blown away in a way that's hard to put into words - I went 38 years of life thinking that no paint repair could ever be undetectable, and here I am, proven wrong. In addition to incredible artisan-quality paintwork, Eddie used new parts directly from Ford for the repair and even took the car to a Ford dealer to make sure all the safety sensors were properly recalibrated. Eddie is a true "car guy" and I found this shop by looking for shops that people trusted with their true pride and joy - sports cars, hot rods, etc. Trust those people. This was my first time dealing with an insurance claim and Eddie was incredibly helpful in educating me about the process and providing me with some advice and guidance. He worked seamlessly with my insurance and it was overall just a totally painless process. In CA, YOU have the right to choose what shop to get your car repaired at - your insurance can't tell you where to go. Do yourself a favor and go to Eddie! I hope I don't get in an accident anytime soon, but if I do, at least now I know I can go to Eddie and everything will turn out perfectly. Can't say enough good things about these guys they did an absolutely amazing job on my car. I presented them with a extremely difficult task recently where my car had been vandalized and completely covered in rattle can paint so bad that you could hardly tell the original color of the car and of course it had spent some years sitting in the sun so it was really caked on there. It was a total gamble because it was impossible to tell before hand what lay underneath. There was a lot of labor in removing the rattle can paint and it was a delicate procedure to not damage the clear coat on the factory paint underneath. I was really luck that the original paint was in really good conditionand and all it needed was a really good polish. The car looks amazing like new for a 90's car. The job was expensive but you really do get what you pay for. Top quality work in a timely fashion, I highly recommend this is my new go to paint shop thank you guys. read more

Three weeks ago someone keyed my car. This left a large scratch around the exterior of my 2016 Ford Focus. I went through the claims process (USAA) and found myself at Eddie's. A week ago, I accidentally scratched my White Crystal Pearl 2020 Subaru Outback. My husband knew that I was very upset with the blemish on my car and suggested that I call Eddie's Paint Works. I would give 10 stars if I could! I had a big scrape on my fender from pulling out of my garage. Eddie took one look and fixed it in 10 mins FOR FREE!! He could have quoted me like $1,600 to redo my whole side panel but instead he cleaned all the garage paint off and hand painted the now small chip. My front quarter panel and driver door were keyed really badly.. it was disappointing driving my car.. Eddie handled my case very professionally and with confidence. I went to Eddie's with my Toyota Matrix after having called around to several auto body shops about some work that needed to be done He was hands down the best customer service, explaining his pricing and what my options were. I took my car to his shop and he gave me an estimate. Again, his customer service was stellar, and I was planning on going back to him to have him do the work, but two days later I was in an accident, and had my car towed to his shop. It was 100% the other drivers fault, but her insurance company was being awful in how they handled things, and he was a huge help navigating it all. In the end, my car was totaled, and not repaired, but Eddie took an awful situation and helped make it easier. If I need auto body work in the future, I will go to his shop. I've gone to school for auto body repair and have an auto detailing business Dr. Detail. My eye and knowledge of this industry is higher then most. Eddies is the only shop I recommend. Most collision repair shops miss the small details of the repair. Hard lines in jambs, overspray on adjacent panels and or glass, too much orange peel in the paint, lack of block sanding, die back due to using the wrong reducer. The list goes on. I've sent Eddie several of my clients, picky ones. He does not disappoint. Part of the reason may have to do with the fact they do collision repair and frame of restorations too. I know myself I can't turn on and off a mind set from excellent to good enough. Or restoration to collision repair. As a customer of your collision repair insurance company it's your choice what shop you bring it to. Simply put, the end result is suppose to be "pre accident condition"! If overspray, hard lines in jambs, wrong paint texture and other things I see all the time were already existing on your vehicle then take it to just any shop. If having look so good you truly can't tell it's been repaired, this is the shop for you. It may sound like he's my friend but he's not, Eddie is just like me. I am convinced this is one of, if not the best body shops in the Sonoma-Marin area. I had a simple job request - paint two brand new Jeep doors that had already been primed. I contacted at least 6 other body shops in Sonoma and Marin counties, and was so disappointed with the subpar customer service and outrageous pricing that I was about to give up. Thank God I found Eddie's. Ryan answered my call, exemplified the best customer service anyone could ever expect, and gave me an initial quote (pending inspection) of about 35% of the ridiculous quotes I received elsewhere (in other words, if a competitor's quote was $1,000, Ryan's was $350)! I am not exaggerating. At such a drastic cost difference, you might think they compromise on quality. They don't. I elected to not "fan in" the paint job in order to ensure guaranteed paint match because it's a Jeep that will eventually get scratched up anyway. Well, Alex did such a fantastic paint job with his attention to detail when initially matching the existing vehicle's paint that I cannot see any difference at all; it is immaculate and much better than I ever expected. Lastly, I need to offer one more praise to their customer service. There happened to be a hiccup with the timeliness of the job due to extenuating circumstances. Yet, where there could have been room for customer disappointment, the superbly professional employees at Eddie's wouldn't allow it; they made it right. Notice I gave them 5 stars despite the slight hiccup. I hope this speaks to how pleased I was with my interactions and transaction with Eddie's. I could not give them anything less than 5 stars - they are that good. If you don't want to make your decision off of the reviews here, just go to their shop and check out what they do. He's very nice, runs a legit shop, and is a great communicator (he called me every time new info came about re: my insurance claim etc). I've personally done body work and took classes many years ago, so I know what to look for in a shop. Eddie met all my expectations. He was even able to identify a problem with my truck's frame, which another local shop didn't see...thank God! I'd hate to have had the repair work done with another shop and be driving down the road crooked to this day.
