My boyfriend took my here for the first time and I love everything about it! The food and the people Everyone was so nice! It was also very clean and smelled absolutely amazing! We had a 16" chicken bacon ranch pizza (I wish I took a picture), the garlic knots, I had a cannoli, and my boyfriend had the tiramisu. Everything was soooo good! Elizabeth at the reception was amazing!!! Loolie made my pizza, OMG. It was made in the authentic and classic brink oven. To die for!!! Well, I want to keep living to be able to eat here again. I've been wanting to try Eddie's based on the reviews and being voted one of the best pizza's in the Orlando area. I ordered a large pepperoni pie and wings on a Friday night. The service over the phone and in person was awesome (hence the two stars). The pizza on the other hand was lackluster and I barely finished a slice. We both agreed it tasted like cardboard and the wings were average. Maybe it was an off night, but with so many other great options in the area, I'll be going somewhere else. read more

Eddie's Pizza is your classic American-style Italian quick serve/delivery kind of place. The menu fare is the typical stuff you'd expect - some soups, salads, subs (both hot and cold), pizza, pasta, the strombolis and things like that. But here's the thing with Eddie's - they do all of this stuff really well. As a restaurant, it's really not a sit-and-eat kind of place. It's definitely a spot designed to primarily be take-out. Go in and you'll see. It's the kind of place that uses old cafeteria tables and chairs and uses a lot of the space as storage. So, beautiful it is not. However, the quality of the food and the care that the chefs put into it, is what sets this place apart. Especially considering that it's sort of in this no-mans-land out here on Ronald Reagan Blvd, by the train tracks, somewhere between Longwood and Lake Mary. This was my first time trying Eddie's and it was a great experience. I was immediately welcomed with friendly smiles and I could tell that they cared about my business as a customer. The food came out fresh and hot and I appreciate that they put a different spin on each item. Although I ordered carry out, there was plenty of seating and the great customer service made it seem like a comfortable environment to sit in. Overall, it was a great experience. Stromboli Regular...looked amazing...taste filled with very little cheese and way way to much onions and green peppers. Best pizza in Longwood try to eat here every time we get pizza and it's consistently good. I usually get a half pepperoni and mushroom half cheese and it's consistently good and delicious. The owner is super nice and very grateful for your business. They have many other things on the menu that people say are very good, although I haven't tried them yet. read more

Fabulous pizza. No, really! FABULOUS PIZZA!!!!(screaming so that the folks in back can hear this too). Thin crust, but not too thin, crispy on the bottom but not crunchy, holds its shape when you lift the slice, cheese not too salty (I don't wake up the next morning all puffy in the face from it), toppings are spread evenly, the sauce is not intense...light...like nonna's passata di pomodoro. So, it's not original Italian-style pizza, but if you want Italian, go to Italy {shrug}, but Eddie's is what good NY-style pizza was once upon a time ('cause let's face it, it ain't what it used to be). Every time I'm in the neighbourhood I swing by and get a slice. Last time I got a whole pie all for myself... I wanted to eat it next day too... oh and it tastes awesome cold too. I'm not paid to endorse Eddie's, I just really like pizza, and I know good pizza when I taste it. OK...all this talk of pizza, now I'm hungry for Eddie's pizza again. read more

It's been so long since I patronized this place that Eddie ain't crazy * no more, but he's still cooking! He and his wife and two kids, whom you often see in the restaurant, have been a fixture for many-a-year on 427, a hard-working family that only takes one day off a week. I'm glad to see that they have survived the Covid death-grip that's tragically caught a lot of other small businesses. But seeing very little business even on a Saturday night (with no sign of his Porsche Cayenne parked out front) might mean that he is barely hanging on. So I promised myself I'll cook less often after this most recent visit. And on this visit, we just wanted a pizza. We ordered the 16" Philly Cheese steak, which I'd never ordered before here or anywhere. And BTW, unless you're allergic to left-over pizza reheated the next day in the oven, ALWAYS order the largest size available, or at least do the math first. In our case, vs. the 12", it was 75% bigger but only 25% more expensive. The pizza was a little, well, strange. When I got it home 5 minutes later, I noticed a ton of grease seeping to the bottom of the box. Not sure if it's from the cheese or something else. So, when it's TOO greasy like that, I don't care for it as much. As well, a Philly Cheese Steak pizza is about as 'good' and idea as BBQ Chicken pizza. I like PCS, and I like BBQ Chick, just not in a pizza! So, it's not Eddie's fault, as the pie was well made with great ingredients (fresh juicy mushroom and red bell pepper in addition to the onions and steak). So next time, I'll do the meat-lover thing, probably; and if that doesn't work out either, I'll just have to settle for his delicious lasagna! But if you're in the area, go and support this small business, will ya? * The establishment now goes simply by "Eddie's Pizza", losing both the 'Crazy' and 'Grill'. However, Yelp has been slow to catch on - I've alerted them to this new identity, but to date, they have yet to make the change. This is perhaps not inappropriate. I'm so glad we found this gem on the way back to the airport. The staff was great, very friendly. Ordered the Stromboli it was delicious, spaghetti and meatball were also great. Our server took the time to wrap my leftovers in foil and bag so I could take it to the airport. Will definitely be making this a go-to when in town. read more
