Not a uniform blend of Vietnamese cuisine as they offer things like edamame, shumai, pad Thai, gyoza, and a Korean soup. Order: edamame, pan fried rice noodles with chicken, and beef pho. Nothing bad to say about the edamame. The fried noodles were a mixture of thick rice noodles and eggs fired until crispy. I love a crispy/crunchy meal. The flavors were on point. This is hands-down, the best for place I've visited in all of Florida. I've been coming here for about at least 10 years now and they do not disappoint especially their Bho Ko (#3 aka beef stew). The broth has been consistent for a decade and it is to live for. I've tried other versions of Bho Ko around town and I always run back to this one; there is no competition. I would give them a five star they are so good, but lately my only complaint is that the beef stew has been overwhelmed with pieces of gristle and fat. I would say probably about 50% of the beef is gristle and fat now and I hope that they improve upon that. Their chicken curry is also amazing. They also have a Thai menu that has not disappointed. Wow I can't believe I haven't reviewed this place before! I've been coming here for years. This is actually the place where I had Pho for the first time! The service here is good and the food is consistently good. Their Summer Rolls are really good and fresh. The peanut sauce it's served with is yummy. We tried their Vietnamese Iced Coffee today and it was delicious! Strong coffee flavor and sweet. We also tried their Papaya, Daikon, Carrot, Basil salad w Shrimp. It was tasty but definitely something different. It's served with fish sauce so if you don't like that flavor you may not like it. I thought it was a refreshing salad and I enjoyed it. I also got the Seafood Noodle Soup. It was really good and they didn't overcook any of the seafood like some places do. Eeew! The smell of old oil was terrible. We started reading about all of the health violations and then noticed the thick black AC vents and the black wall near the vents. That was enough for us to leave without eating. Our clothes stink like that nasty oil, no joke! Will never go back! I appreciate the owners reaching out. I'm sorry to slam your place but please, get your air system professionally cleaned and change the oil. First of all we love this place! Have been coming here for years and the food is PHENOMENAL! I have tried several things off the menu but my favorite has to be their pan fried noodles. They are so good and they have a special touch that I haven't seen elsewhere! This is a small family owned business and we are so glad to be able to support them anytime we get the chance. We noticed that what used to cost us $25 max for both of us has now went up more than $10. I understand the reasons behind this and am not against it, it just feels a little pricey to pay over $40 including tip for lunch for two people. I have been coming to this restaurant since it opened. I even got a couple of my co-workers hooked on the place and they still visited from time to time. This past weekend I was in the area and a friend and I decided to get dinner. We rotate from our usual favorite dishes and the taste was still as good as I remember. We got the Curry Vermicelli with Chicken and the Chicken Curry. Both were fresh, made to order, tasty, flavorful and a good portion. We were so hungry that we finished them! It was busy for dinner and there was only 1 person doing various jobs, so if you are not patient or want to be taken care of right away, take this into consideration. One young man was handling all of service while intermittently propping open the front door to bring in some heat to ameliorate the frigid temperatures. It's a good thing this place has the best pho anywhere in central Florida because the service leaves a lot to be desired. This review is coming from being a regular customer (almost weekly for 5+ years). The pho broth is out of this world. Best by a mile compared to others. Fried rice is great, lemongrass tofu and rice platters all decent too. But they are woefully understaffed and it causes a lot of friction. I admittedly get takeout almost weekly for my family. It takes roughly 6-8 calls before someone will pick up the phone to take an order, even though they are never overwhelmed with dine-in customers. They've never remembered my phone number, my voice, my name, or me (and I'm a giant 6'4" dude that is hard to miss). That means 250x I've likely stepped foot in there, only ever dealt with a couple different people, and they don't smile, thank me, say hello, remember me... nothing. (As an example, next door is a Pizza Hut with higher turnover and their staff remembers me within 4 visits). I think it's just two people working at iPho at the most. A cook and a guy to do everything else, so it isn't turnover why they can't remember. It's lack of caring about customers. On several occasions I've had to drive there and place an order because they refuse to pick up the phone. When I get there, I've asked if there are problems with their phones and he curtly responds "No. now what do you want to order?" My child (on the spectrum) LOVES their pho and switching to another isn't an easy change but I've been desperate to find a new pho place that is suitable. I have started trying several other restaurants- every one with much better service. I'd be grateful if they could hire another person - someone who gives a damn about customer service - so I could continue going weekly for the next 5 years, but alas, I'm searching to take my business elsewhere. Father's Day, so my wife, daughter and I ordered 3 shrimp Pad Thai dinners for takeout. This was the first time we tried iPho. Pickup was within 5 minutes of scheduled time, very good. Food was reasonably tasty, but lacked a zesty flavor we've had elsewhere and become accustomed to. Also, each dish was a bit oily. I would categorize this place as 'generic' because it exists probably for convenience so that those who live close by can have a quick Asian fix. Otherwise, for 'even more authentic' Vietnamese cuisine, one could drive 20 mins South on I-4 to the SR-50/ Colonial drive area to explore the Asian town. An experienced foodie can order the usual combination beef combination pho bowl or the more adventurous Korean short rib plater. On a freezing Florida winter evening of 65 degree, I chose a more moderate beef stew pho with carrots because its bigger cut/ chuck of meat that allowed me to chew for longer time while enjoying the carefully seasoned, savory, and soft piece of beef. Not necessarily better, but just different from the usual beef noodle soup. It used to be be of my favorites, but not that many people order it in other pho restaurants, I feel like they make it less often and its quality could probably not maintained due to 'lack of practice' per se. This is a family run PHO themed restaurant located in a strip plaza between Tijuana Flats and Pizza Hut in Lake Mary. I've been to this restaurant on many occasions in the past and have always had a delicious meal. Today (1-18-19) I ordered the One option (steak) PHO large for $8.95. I love the fast attentive service here! I literally walked in, sat down, ordered a water and my food in less than three minutes. The server brought my water and fresh vegetables for the PHO. Then about 3 minutes later, my server delivered the super fresh and piping hot PHO. I barely had enough time to take pictures of the menu items in the restaurant before everything arrived. Simply amazing food service at its best! They might be a small restaurant but they sure are mighty. I can hardly wait for my next visit. Little side note about seating: * Outside, there are four round tops with four chairs each. I am assuming it is okay to bring a dog. * Inside, there are five half Booth tables that can seat up to 6 and three deuces. The restaurant is very clean and well-kept. Ipho Noodle House has won my heart!!! The Pho is the best that I have tasted in the Orlando area. As a vegetarian, I was able to take advantage of still having the Pho broth, rice noodles and Vegetables. There are a few good servers here in Ipho, but I can honestly say, don't expect too much. I believe that because there is such a language barrier between most customers, it creates and oddness in most interactions. As stated, there are a few that will have great conversation with you, but don't expect much. Now, the food is always cooked fresh and you will never be served a cold meal. That is a major plus for me. The vegetables in the Vegetable Pho were fresh as well. They also have the option to add tofu to your Pho or any other dish. Lastly, the space in Ipho is very limited. They are busy on most days and there are only about 5 outside tables. Inside there are about 8, so you can imagine a Friday night. My bf got the Fiery Fried chicken which pretty much tasted like Tabasco sauce. If you do go here, the pork chop is still decent and I havent re-ordered their pho in a while but I did like it. I stumbled on iPho, walked in, and a kind little woman greeted me. She said I could sit where I like. I sat outside on the patio where I ordered a water with lemon and a large bowl of pho tai. Now, I am picky about my pho. I like less meat and more noodles--said no one ever except me. When I asked the waitress for pho as described, she very graciously said of course! My pho was beautiful when it arrived. She gave me more than enough noodles and just the right amount of steak. The waitress came outside to check on me and refill my water. She was kind, sweet, and had great manners. The service overall was great. I returned for a second time today and the pho was equally as delicious! I sat inside this time. There seems to be a steady flow of business as there are guests regularly dining inside. Additionally, there is high traffic of people picking up takeout orders. IPho is one of my favorite Vietnamese restaurants. I make special trips to Lake Mary just for this place. It's quiet and small. The servers are always polite and attentive. You seat yourself wherever you like; however, seating is extremely limited. There's also some outside tables. I like to get the Vegetarian Noodle Soup. It's delightful. The broth is flavorful and you get plenty of vegetables and noodles. Lately, I have been mixing it up, and started trying new dishes. I am never disappointed with their food. I recently ordered the rice platter accompanied with grilled pork. The pork was excellent; it was juicy, tender, and well-seasoned. The fried rice is also great; it's not greasy at all. I'm seriously have fixed reviews about this place. Our server, the young gentleman was pretty decent as a waiter. Their pho is ok, but barely any toppings. My husband and I both ordered tendons as one of the toppings and we had to dig to find these tiny thin slices of tendons about the size of dimes. The broth was alright, don't exactly feel like bone stewed, more like package seasonings. The food taste I understand is different with each person but what I can't stand is the feeling that the old man that works there doesn't like my family. We've been there handful of times and every time we're there, if we had to have the slightest interaction with that old man, he would just look angry and won't respond to our 'Thank You'. I assumed, he may just be that way with every customer. But, this recent visit we had other families with us and the old man was coming into the restaurant so he held the door open. My family and I walked out and we each said 'Thank You', pretty loud and the old man made not one peep or happy expression. BUT, a customer walked in as we were walking out, the customer said 'Thank You' and the old man responded with 'Yes'. After our very first experience dining here last year, I would only come here because it was the closest pho place to where we lived. Sat outside for 15 minutes without being able to order so we decided just to get it to-go and eat back at the office. Waited inside for nearly another 10 and still couldn't order. Left and went somewhere else for lunch because who had that kind of time to wait to even place an order!? Never again will we try to dine in for lunch, as they are just not equipped to get people in and out in under 90 minutes, let alone 60 minutes!
