I recently got into a car accident and had my car stored in their Camarillo yard. The gentleman working (Bobby) was kind, professional and very accommodating. Prices were beyond fair for the storage fee, and they were quick to help me get my car towed out and get it where it needed to go. The driver who dropped the car off after picking it up from the yard went the extra mile to make sure it was dropped in a safe place and made sure I was happy. Getting a car towed in any capacity sucks. There's no doubt about that. If I ever have a problem I'm coming back to Eddies everytime. Battery died, car wouldn't start when jumped; contacted AAA, they sent out Eddie's Towing Battery Service. Eddie's was there in a little under the estimated time, my battery was tested, found to be in very sad shape indeed (not surprising as it was quite old), and replaced in short order. This company should be glad that they have Drivers that saves this company from a customer service standpoint. I called this place needing a vehicle towed, and the owner's daughter (Nikki) was an absolute smart ass. She first gave false information about an employee not being there, then absolutely railroaded the conversation. The Driver finally gets to me, and we had a pleasant interaction. Our vehicle got taken care of, and everything was golden. I asked him, "who was the lady that answered the phone there?" He immediately said "was she rude?" I said hell yes. Unbelievable. I have no words to describe the sheer lack of decency shown by a driver from this company. I called AAA for a tow which dispatched Eddie's towing. I needed a flat bed and they showed up with a dolly. I politely told the driver that I don't think a dolly would work because my car is too low. He told me to F myself and drove off. Entire interaction was maybe 10 seconds after waiting over an hour. Unbelievable Update: dispatch called me and were also in disbelief of what originally happened. Eddie's Towing is the AAA service provider in Newbury Park. I was at Home Depot and when I returned to my car, it wouldn't start. It's a newer well-maintained car, so I was shocked. Called AAA and Eddie's Towing was dispatched. The tow truck driver assessed the situation and attempted to jump-start my car, to no avail. Rather than immediately tow my car, he called for a battery technician, who soon arrived. He used two portable chargers together and got my car started. I called to request a tow service to help with parking issues in a gated community in Camarillo. All I wanted to know is if the Property Management called them, would they respond to impound vehicles that were blocking residents parking, or impeding traffic flow. The answer was.... "LOL.... we are too busy for that type of business, and you will never find a tow company willing to do that"....this woman was rude, and dismissive. Broke down inside a car wash in Newbury Park, got a push out and called AAA. Braden from Eddie's towing was dispatched and arrived within 25min. He examined the car, diagnosed a dead (as in deceased, not flat) battery and gave me a couple of options. I chose to buy a new battery right there and then out of his fully stocked truck. My old 2015 battery was recycled, a new one put in and I was off back to work within 20 mins of Braden arriving. Totally awesome service from a very pleasant expert in what he does. Whole thing cost $200. Unbelievable value given the potential inconvenience in play. I'd recommend Eddie's and in particular Braden for any electrical failures while out there on the roads. Arrived very quickly. Petey was very respectful of my 21 year-old daughter. Petey is very knowledgeable, checked out the damage to the car and explained clearly what was damaged. He reassured my daughter that it probably wouldn't be too expensive to fix. Turns out, she didn't need a tow. Petey was very personable and open to conversation while putting on the spare. He explained clearly the limitations of driving with the spare on and the precautions she should take. He never posed personal questions to us.
