Dropped off my car on a Monday and get a call on Tuesday saying they figured out the problem. Said it was electrical but didn't really explain what was wrong with it and quoted me $680. Told them I couldn't do that price and he says it usually cost $800 anywhere else. I tell him that I'd be picking up the car soon. Take an uber to the shop to pick the car up and they are closed for an hour on lunch. Fine, I wait around since I do not want to waste more money on uber. When the mechanic finally arrives after lunch I ask him what exactly is wrong with the car. He proceeds to vaguely tell me the car is old and that the wiring is messed up and it keeps blowing the fuse. I then ask him if he did in fact change the fuse, said he did. I take the car to auto zone and find the blown fuse and replace it. Solved the problem, no more issues, hasn't blown the fuse since. SO THIS SHOP TRIED TO CHARGE ME $680 FOR A BLOWN FUSE. For those of you who know nothing about cars, please get a second opinion or do some research online before paying these people.

My appointment was for 1:15 but I got there early and was taken right away. The manager Issac greeted me and did the test . The website states smog tests could take up to an hour so I took a seat and within maybe 30 minutes I was all done. Issac told me my car passed and the certificate was sent over electronically to the DMV. I had a coupon for $10.00 off I found on their website and it was honored. First, I do want to take a moment to thank my service advisor Andrew, he is everything you want a service to be. He was very professional, detail oriented and most importantly, he kept in constact contact with me in all of my visits to the shop. The other thing I really liked about this place was the way that they send you a detailed report with pictures of the issues they find with your vehicle and classify them as urgent/routine. This really helped me proritize the services that were really needed versus the ones that could wait for another visit. And lastly, I love the fact that at no point in our interaction did I feel pressured into any services or was I forced to use them for specific products. I told them I was getting my Tires at costco, mostly for the cost and they were very honest with me when they said they could not beat their prices. For these reasons is why I am now choosing ABC Auto Care as my primary source for Auto repair needs.
