The contact lenses were a nightmare! First contacts prescription was completely wrong. Could barely see with them. Went to an appointment to get them corrected but I accidentally forgot the lenses, asked if they could reset my appointment for any time later that day...NO. I had to wait 2.5 weeks to get seen again! At the next appointment, they "corrected" the prescription but it took them one month to have them available. Despite multiple inquiries about my contacts, emails and calls to their lens center, the contacts were sent to a different office, about 35 miles away! I asked if they could either transfer to my doctor's office or mail to me...NO! They insisted on a whole new order. Yet more waiting! They did expedite the order but the prescription is still off. I need to hold small print about a yard from my eyes to able to read it. There was no follow up on their part. Totally frustrated, I am going next week to a different doctor and company to get contact lenses that are supposed to be right for me! To add to the frustration and my negativity was that I was there three times a week asking for my lenses (only because my physical therapy was across the hall) and each and every time they asked my name (you'd think they'd remember after 10x, assure me that they would call me as soon as they would come in; when they eventually came in, nobody called. What a waste of money and time!!!

My issue is with owner Stephanie Paris who is very rude and aggressive. The issue started with my contact lenses and they wanted to charge me extra to fix the issue. I was told I could find a new place to get my glasses and contacts after they wanted to charge me more. Stephanie is beyond rude and treated me very disrespectfully and also told me I was not able to speak with Kelly. She literally told me this. I would not recommend this spot. Also, when it came time for my $40 refund, I called and gave the front receiptionist my cc info to which I never got a refund. I had to call back again and the office claims I never called. They are spiteful and vicious and unprofessional. I've found a new spot in boston where I'm treated with respect and kindness. Do yourself a favor and stay clear of this spot.

My family and I have been seeing the same optometrist in a nearby town for over 20 years. However, some recent experiences left me wanting to try someone else. I am so glad I made the decision to visit Dr. Le. In my first visit, she examined my eyes and found a condition that can lead to a retina tear. Dr. Le helped me get an appointment with a highly regarded ophthalmic practice. An ophthalmologist addressed the issue the same day. The ophthalmologist told me that I probably had the condition for around two years based on the scar tissue. He gave Dr. Le (who he doesn't know) a lot of credit for identifying a barely visible problem. He said that he could have missed it himself. Beyond the eye issue, Dr. Le was very thorough in examining my eyes, filling my prescriptions, and fitting me for the best glasses and contact lens. She is friendly, explains things effectively, and provides compassionate eye care. I would highly recommend Dr. Le to my family, friends, and anyone who is looking for an optometrist.

Dr. Azin Abazari was recommended to us by his ophthalmologist in Naples, Florida.Dr Abazari is a wonderful doctor! Very gracious and very friendly. She fully answered all of our questions and made us feel comfortable and confident in her. We Wouldn't think twice about going back to see her for any problems that may occur while we are here!

I loved my cornea specialist (Peter Rapoza), but he has moved on. Required a different kind of help…read morefor a tear duct issue, and was wholly unimpressed with the specialist there. She did not listen to my concerns (I think in an attempt to keep her success rate with the procedure she performed intact). She tried to break the blockage in-office with a Xanax and far too little local anesthesia. It was insane. Note: the doctor I visited in Maine confirmed my suspicion on the blockage being real. I'm letting him deal with it from now on. I was going to stick with the new cornea specialist assigned to me for an annual visit. I was scheduled for a 2/19/26 appt with the new cornea specialist, and received a note that the date had to change. It said 2/26 in the communication. Shame on me for missing that someone had inadvertently noted 2027, not 2026. Made the journey from Portland, Maine to Danvers - in the snow, to learn about the mishap. I guess it was "my fault" for not noticing the error, but between the lack of concern from tear duct specialist and this - I am done. I had no idea how low the yelp reviews were for this practice. Always thought I was doing the right thing going to Boston. Done with that.

It has been almost 3 weeks since my LASIK procedure and I am in awe of my new eyes! I was very…read morenervous going into it, but looking back I had nothing to worry about! From the initial consultation, the staff were friendly, patient and understanding of my nerves. On the day of my surgery, Dr. Giles was great and made me feel comfortable the entire time. The procedure took less than 20 minutes and was painless. After the procedure I experienced very little discomfort and after a few days, any discomfort I did have completely went away. I experienced dry eyes for the first week, but since then that has also gone away. Being able to see is the greatest gift and I am beyond grateful to TLC for giving me the gift of eyesight. If you are nervous to get LASIK, know that I was too, but wish I hadn't been so nervous because in the end I had such a positive experience.

He totally SCREWED UP my eye exam (how hard is that??) and missed diagnosed my astigmatism by TWO POINTS! And they couldn't get one of their machines to work. Plus he said such a big change was very unusual and it might be corneal disease and sent me MERSI in Waltham for another exam and more $$$. All they wanted to do there was talk about surgery for my cataracts (which is not needed) Maybe Patel gets a kickback? So when I got my glasses, my vision was totally distorted and I was dizzy. So I finally went to a real optician at Newton Wellesley Eye Associates, they confirmed I actually had very little change in my RX and fortunately, the great folks at Focal Point in Newton changed to the correct RX without any charge. Pearle Vision was a DISASTER.
