I'm sorry to be writing this after so much time has passed, but my life has been inundated with…read morehardships in the last year and a half. Please, please don't board your pets here. I left for a trip and came back to my poor pup bleeding and wounded. He had a choke collar at this point, and I was sure to tell them to take it off unless he was going out. I also offered to take it off for them when I dropped him off, but they said no because he was going to be let out first. When I came back from my trip to pick him up, I immediately saw blood and matted fur around his neck. They had never taken the collar off; not once. It had dug into his throat and left puncture wounds (see pictures). When I confronted the owner, she refused to take accountability. I got him into an emergency vet visit that night, where they treated him. Through this, I was on the phone back and forth with the owner. She not only would take accountability for neglecting and abusing my dog, but went as far blaming me (stating I never instructed them to take it off) and my dog (because of his "excited nature"?) for this incident. Her excuse was that she and her employees have never seen a choke collar, despite being a boarding facility. I explained she could have called me at any point, or referred to YouTube to see how to take it off, but still, absolutely no accountability for their neglect. She was rude (cursed me out), defensive, and even hung up on me. Her insurance paid for the vet visit, but she refused to reimburse me for his stay there. I cannot convey the distress their abuse and neglect caused me and my dog. I am only here to tell you of my experience and warn you, though I'm incredibly sorry for how long it's taken me. Please, please, do not trust them with your pets.

They've been accommodating each time. One of the times they had our golden for 3 weeks. The most recent they had both dogs for a week.
