I went for a day of relaxation and it was anything but. I go to a lot of spas and would just rate this as OK. Partly my fault because I don't speak up during the service but I also asked for an area to be concentrated on during my massage and she didn't focus as all on that area and it felt more like a PT appointment rather than relaxing massage. I also went for a facial and she talked me into a hydra facial. I assumed it was the same as regular facial but with different products but I was completely wrong. instead all I paid for was her to use this machine that did suction all over my face. It was so not relaxing at all and I don't think the result looks good either. I will not be returning here in the future. read more

I went there yesterday and i am Very disappointed. I paid 85 dollars plus tip for 60 minutes manucure and 15 min paraffine. I arrived at 10.30 am it was finished at 11.15 am No massage just a scrub and 5 min for the paraffine . This is an upscale spa not the commonplace for the nails. My husband bought me a gift certificate to this spa for Mother's Day. I am a skeptic at heart because I have had my share of bad spa experience (most are related to Mother's Day gift certificate because my husband continues to rotate). I'm glad that I had the 110 minutes massage with Eliza. She has the magic touch and years of experience to back up the awesome massage that I just had. The awesome experience is pricey. It's the price of the 5-star hotel/resort without the amenities for it. During covid, I think I can do without the amenities (I.e: rain showers, quit place to unwind, steam and sauna). I'll have to rethink about going forward for periodic rejuvenation experience though. Perhaps they'll consider an early birthday gift for me; since my birthday is coming up at the end of the month. Paid for top of the line facial at Miraval prices and might have well just gotten a microdermabrasion service at a different facility for less money. The lady was a dear but technique was not there. Top of the line prices but not top of the line technique. per the menu and price I was under the impression I would be receiving extra facial treatment. I basically paid extra for my head to be massaged (and it hurt and left my hair matted) and for cream to be slathered on my feet and and hands and have plastic bags put over them and have a limp massage to shoulder hands and feet. Microdermabrasion equipment was loud. I thought it might be on its last leg. Extractions without steam! Ouch! The hydra facial part was essentially a cool mist sprayed on my face and stopped abruptly. Suffice it to say very disappointing. Dont pay extra for this facial! read more

Had the worst experience with this spa. After leaving my treatment room I compared my experience to my friend who was there for the same package. The receptionist heard us speaking and seeing that I was confused by what I had received in comparison to my friend she advised me that this was not the norm and that they were understaffed for technicians that can perform both treatments and that a manager would call me. I was pleased when a manager reached out the following day. but the call turned rather quickly when his only response to me was how long they have been in service for and how qualified their technicians are. The manager Jeremy didn't care about my experience or my concerns instead told me I'm not the clientele for their spa. I was very disappointed about the time and money I had just wasted in which the manager then shamed me for being upset over a spa treatment. I have actually never experienced a call like that in my life. When I proceeded to tell him what the receptionist said he told me that the information I was giving was inaccurate and the receptionist never said that. At some point I couldn't be belittled any more so I requested a refund which he told me to take up with Groupon. I immediately did. I expected a Manager from a Spa with so many years of experience to be more sympathetic or at least courteous when it comes to unsatisfied customers. I have been a client for 20 plus years I will not return. I booked a microdermabrasion facial and it was the worst service I have ever experienced. I am a spa regular and have had services all over the world. The service was 50 minutes and the entire time the therapist talked the entire time and tried to upsell every product and service the spa offered. Typically this service is at least 75 minutes. I added a collagen mask and that should have added 10 minutes to this very short facial and it did not. The spa has not contacted me to offer apology or explanation for a very poor and expensive ($250) experience, I will not return and I will advise friends that use this spa. read more

Our esthetician was Nonna, and god bless her for giving my 30 year old husband his first ever facial. He loved it, and his skin was *glowing* after his facial. My Hydrafacial was also great. What we loved: - Location, right in Boca - Such warm, friendly, professional staff - A great menu of services provided - Very clean space where you easily feel relaxed. Smelled heavenly! - Prices were comparable with what we pay in Boston, and the service was good. What we would do differently: - We booked an evening service, which I usually love because we can roll into bed feeling the upmost relaxation. However, with it being so late, they were getting ready to close up shop, which maybe made the experience slightly less "spa-like". This use to be my favorite day spa in Palm Beach County and never had a problem driving an hour because it was always worth it. It's really gone down hill. The time before this I had a deep tissue that was just the massage therapist pressing up and down my body, not massaging my muscles. I thought it was a fluke and came back. I had a 90 minute facial and a 90 minute massage. My facial felt good and was relaxing but really didn't notice a difference in my skin, compared to other facials I've had. I'm not sure if you have to go on a regular basis to see results. I'm in my mid 20s so it wasn't like I was expecting a dramatic difference in my skin. The facial I can live with. What really irked me was the CUSTOM massage. When she took me back she didn't ask me what hurt or felt sore. So much for custom. Then I'm not sure if it's management or the therapist but after they do the limbs they put plastic bags over them. I'm not sure if that's their cheap way of trying to recreate paraffin but it took a lot of time away from the massage and made me feel cheated out of time. I think that was the point so they massage people less. This review is not coming from a disgruntled guest or avid spa goer. This is coming from a resort massage therapist. read more

I was given water and my masseuse called me in, right on time. Her name was Yulie(sp?) and she was amazing. I have been working out often and asked her to work on my overworked areas. She worked on my with the strength and knowledge of a personal masseuse. She was extremely informative and sensitive to my needs. The massage went quickly and was exactly what I wanted. I have been coming to this spa for over ten years now. I skipped this past year because of my COVID fears, but this past weekend I had the Ultimate massage for 85 minutes with Gabriella and it was wonderful. Everything was very clean, they do temperature checks at the door, and the therapist wore a mask the whole time (even though she said she was vaccinated). It was a relaxing, fragrant, peaceful escape from the world. This spa never disappoints. It's small, but you can get anything you need, facials, massages, manicures, but I enjoy the massages the most. Not only are the massages relaxing for your muscles (and your brain) but your skin feels so supple for days afterwards. Wonderful massage from Erica! She checked in with me just the right amount during my massage and really helped me relax. I liked how she incorporated stretching into her massage as well. They were running a special on adding hot stones to your massage, so I added them and I'm very glad I did. The treatment rooms are quiet, except for occasionally you hear the big whoosh of the HVAC system. But I can't imagine there's anything they can do about that, and A/C is pretty important in Florida!
