We picked Eden Gardens as our wedding venue because we marveled at the lush, beautiful foliage and assortment of plants in the garden. The atmosphere was quiet and peaceful, and we felt transported to a new world as we toured the venue. The outdoor venue was preferable in consideration of our guests' health and safety due to the COVID-19 pandemic. There are paved pathways that made it easy for us and our guests to navigate from the ceremony to the pavilion where the cocktail hour was held, and to the outdoor amphitheater for the reception. We rented the onsite bridal cottage for the bridal party to get ready on the wedding day, and the remodeled cottage included a beauty room for the hair and makeup team to work in. The venue was a beautiful setting for our wedding photos, and our guests gave us overwhelming positive reviews about how breathtaking the garden was. Velvet Alley Events was a pleasure to work with as our wedding coordinator. Soltana was very responsive and answered any inquiries in the months leading up to our wedding. She was especially attentive about the schedule and vendor arrivals for the wedding day. Soltana made sure we received detailed information about what to bring and the flow of the day. On the wedding day, Cindy and her team followed the schedule and frequently checked in with the bridal and grooms parties to ensure we were comfortable. They laid out our decorations for the ceremony and reception and collected everything by the end of the night. They also oversaw the vendor arrivals and distributed our tips to them. We greatly appreciate how professional and helpful Velvet Alley Events was in making our wedding an efficient, smooth, and joyful occasion. Command Performance Catering provided the catering services at Eden Gardens. Jesus, the sales and event manager, was very responsive by email and phone, and patiently took the time to answer our questions about the menu selection and alcohol packages. We frequently corresponded about menu changes and diet accommodations, the guest seating arrangement, and furniture rentals for our cocktail hour and reception. Jesus adjusted to these multiple changes in the meals and rentals in a timely manner in the months leading up to our wedding. Beautiful venue. I'm in a local AFJROTC program that does their end of the year banquet there. You would not even expect that it's even there. It's right off the road but interestingly enough you don't here any cars unless someone is honking. The venue is big and super easy to get get lost. All in all a super beautiful venue! read more

Eden Gardens and their entire staff is straight-up MAGICAL. When we were deciding on Venues for our wedding, we made the mistake of viewing Eden Gardens as one of our first options, and it RUINED every other venue for us :/ We must have looked at over a dozen other venues, and none of them even came close to being as perfect as Eden Gardens. The Venue itself is so beautiful that my wife and I took several trips there just to walk the grounds and savor the amazing sights and beautiful music. From the view of the pond, the twinkle-lights, the lush greenery, and the sounds of peacocks, it is Heaven on Earth. They even have some cute little hidden areas off-the-beaten-path, which we used for a scavenger hunt during cocktail hour. The Ceremony and reception sight were both spectacular and intimate, and it made our wedding feel like a fairytale, without being opulent. Eden Gardens also has a partnership with Command Performance Catering (CPC), so you don't have to worry about hiring a separate company for chairs, tables, linens, or food. And we could not believe the level of choice, quality, and service that we received from CPC. Melanie was very helpful when it came time for us to decide on linens, and gave us a lot of useful input regarding food options paired well together. And the food is delicious. Many of our guests complimented the food at the wedding, and my wife and I daydream about the day when CPC opens up an actual restaurant to eat at - Their food is THAT GOOD. But the divine venue and incredible food aside, the best part about Eden Gardens is the service from their team. Kay was very helpful with showing us around the grounds, giving us advice, and helping us choose a date for our wedding. Soltana was AMAZING when it came down to the planning process, and she guided us through the entire planning process step-by-step, to make sure that everything was thought of. And there were a LOT of things that my wife and I did not think about (It was our first wedding), and Soltana made sure that everything was accounted for. I would definitely recommend paying a little extra to hire her as your day-of coordinator. She even helped us set up a scavenger hunt! And the day of the wedding the entire staff was wonderful. They guided us through every part of the wedding, and made sure that my wife and I could focus on enjoying our time, while they made sure that everything ran smoothly. Eden Gardens is a gorgeous venue! It is truly unique with all the plants, flower, live peacocks, and huge pond in the center of the venue with actual fish in it! The entire venue is a circle where the coordinators guide guests through the venue in a way where they can't see the next part of the venue until its time for that part of the night. Velvet Alley Events is the coordinator that is provided for the final 30 days and Soltana and her team were phenomenal! They made our entire day stress free and so smooth. Soltana took care of all the vendor coordination in the 30 days leading up to our wedding, made our day-of schedule and took care of all of the setup and day-of tasks. She allowed me to enjoy my day with my girls getting ready and I didn't have to worry about anything. She also guided us through the entire evening at a perfect pace! Highly recommend! read more

Beautiful spot for a wedding! For locals, this is a hidden gem right off of the 118 -- easy to find and just gorgeous. Came here for a wedding, so I dont know the prices, but it was beautiful from the moment we arrived. Walked through a lovely path of trees and flowers into a cocktail area before the ceremony. They had birds flying around and it was again, just gorgeous. Then we followed the path to the ceremony which was surrounded by flowers and off to the left was an amazing fountain (shown in the first photo I added here). After the ceremony we stroll through the pathway once again and arrive at a small area for hors d'oeuvres and then another spot for the bar and reception. I attended a wedding here recently and was quite pleased with the venue. Really a nice place to get married. The parking is a little interesting and when we attended the men's bathroom overflowed. We had multiple people from the wedding that said it was the best wedding they have ever been to. I had my wedding at Eden Gardens in July and my guests were floored by how beautiful the venue was. The birds, the lily pads, fountains, shade, size of the grounds, were everything we wanted. I had a 200 person wedding. Some of my guests love the big party feel and others prefer a smaller intimate environment. The nooks and crannies Eden had offered a place for my quieter guests to enjoy a more intimate setting and the big reception area allowed my more extrovert guests to tear up the dance floor. We chose to add the rental of the onsite house which was one of the best decisions. We used it for me and my family to get ready in, have lunch, and a nice private bathroom away from the guests. My groom moved to the bridal trailer which has air conditioning. If we hadn't rented the house, he would have gotten ready outside at a designated patio area in the heat. Kay was our guide for the walk through and was very helpful throughout the wedding planning process. The wedding planner I hired often went to Kay with questions and she seemed to really enjoy working with Kay as well. read more

When we walked in they had beautiful silk cloth hanging over the entrance with a chandelier. Walking through the Beautiful green Gardens with Gorgeous peacocks & Birds singing everywhere. I first stumbled across this GEM of a venue during a styled photoshoot I worked on as a wedding coordinator. I was first to arrive early that morning and was taken aback by the pure beauty of this venue. They were playing beautiful music throughout the venue, and George the groundskeeper was watering the plants and welcomed me with a smile. It was just magic. Needless to say, I was in love and at the time not even engaged but knew this is where I wanted to get married. Months later, there I was newly engaged and couldn't wait to show my fiancé. If I had to describe Eden Gardens in one word, it would be 'magical'. When my husband & I were searching for venues last year, Eden was the second place we looked at & we canceled all of our other venue tour appointments afterward. It was perfect. From the white peacocks & aviary to the elegant water features & lush foliage, this place is truly a hidden gem. I've lived in the area almost my whole life & had no idea this gorgeous oasis was tucked away right off of Tierra Rejada by the freeway that I have driven by more times than I can count. Even my guests, many of whom have lived in the area forever as well, had no idea this place existed. As other reviews have already mentioned, you must use their caterer, Command Performance. Sure, they are a bit pricey, but you get what you pay for... The food was amazing & my guests are still raving about the food. Melanie & her team are true professionals & work together like a well oiled machine. Plus, there are a ton of food options to choose from so you can customize a killer menu for your event. Also, the venue comes with a day of coordinator for your rehearsal & the day of the event, from set up to after the ceremony. And let me just give a word of advice here... Do yourself a favor & pay the extra money to have Soltana & her team stay for the entire course of the event. It is SO worth it. She is so on point & I didn't have to worry about a thing. From setting up a timeline, to contacting & organizing everything with my vendors the week of, to having everything set up & torn down on time, she is phenomenal! Seriously, she & her team took charge, made sure everything ran smoothly & by the end of the night, dropped the car keys into my dad's hand where we saw that everything had been skillfully packed into his car just like we had asked them to do. If anything went wrong during the ceremony or reception, we didn't know about it, which is exactly how it should be. All other vendors (i.e. DJ, photographer, florist, etc) you do have to find & hire yourself, but Eden will provide you a list of suggested vendors to contact & they are all top notch. I hired the majority of my vendors using that list & have no regrets. Plus, they have all worked events at Eden Gardens before, so there is no guesswork, they are familiar with the venue & they know exactly what to do. I cannot gush enough about how extraordinary this place is & also how professional everyone affiliated with EG is. Tour the grounds & book the venue ASAP for a truly memorable evening. From our wedding coordinator Soltana to the food catered by Melanie it was amazing! Their were 2 things that I can complain about if I really wanted to but we let it go. They were so small it didn't even matter. The staff was on point! Always was ahead of schedule and were very sweet. After our ceremony they had food ready for my husband and I in the Bridal trailer and drinks. They gave us 15 min to collect our selves and digest on what just happened at our beautiful ceremony! The venue at night just glowed! And the plants were so lush and green. Let's just talk about the food... it was exceptionally yummy! The beef short ribs just slid off bone and melted in ur mouth. We had on top of that the tomato vodka chicken, vodka sauce bow ties, potatoes, salad, and 2 types of bread. All was a 10! Definitely will use command performance again. If you're looking for an outdoor garden wedding, this is the place for you! We were searching for so many places with this "theme" and saw at least 8 in LA and could not find one that actually fits what we wanted. Eden Gardens was a bit farther than we'd like, BUT after seeing the gorgeous photos we had to go and see for ourselves. Right when we parked, we immediately knew. This was going to be the venue we'd get married at. It was BEAUTIFUL. A green oasis in the middle of the valley and desert almost. It was unreal. George and Kay were extremely helpful in walking us around the venue and showing us all the beautiful decor that were purposefully put there. Ceremony site- We were married around 5pm and it was nice and shaded for everyone. Absolutely beautiful Reception Area: Large and spacious and provided a natural dance floor. Beautiful bistro lighting is strung through the whole area and provided a great ambiance Pavilion- There is a large pavilion that can hold 200 people in case it rains (so thoughtful for them to include when planning the venue) this is also an area for the groom and groomsmen to lounge while waiting for the wedding to start Overall I could not think of a more perfect venue to have been married at. This place truly made our dream wedding happen. That's not to say everything was perfect, but all the good parts of it FAR outweighed the bad, so I cannot help but keep this a 5 star review. THE GOOD * ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL GROUNDS. Everything about it is magical. You will NEED to come to a tour of this place to get the full details, but my favorite parts of it were 1) the journey. There are niches for each wedding activity located around a central lake, and beautiful paths to each of them, making you feel like you are walking through the pages of a fairytale storybook 2) The views at night. If you think it's beautiful during the day with all the flowers and water features, try coming here at night when all the twinkle lights are up. I almost cried when I saw it at night for the first time. * THE BIRDS! You will see the birds as you first enter the venue, from the white peacocks at the beginning, to the parrot that greets you, to the aviary of various birds in the waiting area. This is truly a unique feature I have never seen at any other venue. Also, wedding idea: Pintrest the crap out of "lovebird weddings" * COMMAND PERFORMANCE - the required catering/rental company. This will also show up later in the bad, but for what it's worth, Command Performance really pulled through. I will have to refer you to my Yelp review of Command Performance here because I'm running out of room, but to summarize, everyone is STILL complimenting me on how good the food was, and GET THE PRAWNS UPGRADE! You won't regret it :) * KAY NIELSEN - the provided day-of coordinator and yes, she deserves her own category. My lengthy wedding research taught me to get a 3rd-party day-of coordinator and I even interviewed a few, but after a few conversations with her, we made the risky decision to stick with her, and we don't regret it one bit. She was ALWAYS on top of things, had GREAT communication, and offered her help in any way possible. Even the stuff you forget to take care of, she will magicially have it done. It's like she reads your mind. Talk about stress relief! She also coordinates many other events/ weddings at other venues and her experience shows. * FLEXIBILITY - As long as you like flowers and water and the outdoors, the venue is really flexible for any bride. If you don't like doing too much yourself, you can just go with their standard setup and your wedding will be amazing. If you, like me, are more hands-on and like to come up with your own unique ideas, they will work with you. This was a HUGE plus for us since surprisingly, not too many venues we saw were this flexible (despite what they say). Also in terms of flexibility is that this venue really accommodates various number of guests. We had a small, 50-person wedding and didn't feel too small, but even one that was 5x the size of ours could probably have fit comfortably without feeling too big. *EDEN GARDENS BRIDAL SHOWCASE - DO NOT MISS THIS. It's an amazing event and will REALLY help you visualize your wedding day. It was free with our booking, so I don't know if it costs money if you haven't... * PRICE - This will also show up in the bad, but in general, their price was really reasonable. We had our wedding on a Monday holiday and they were so nice to give us normal weekday pricing for it, so that really worked out for our budget. BRING YOUR OWN ALCOHOL! was also a huge plus for costs. Plus, it allowed us to be creative with our alcohol served at no additional costs :) Included day-of coordinator was another cost-savings for us. Also, this place has SO many flowers that you really don't need too much more. That's pretty much a potential savings on your florals! THE BAD * COMMAND PERFORMANCE - Again, I will have to refer you to my Yelp review on Command Performance for this part, but to summarize, they were really tough to get a hold of and to get questions answered and decisions made prior to the wedding. That was really stressful and if it wasn't for Kay, we probably would have given up on Eden Gardens. * PRICE - The venue was reasonable, and you have to pay extra for valet and security if your wedding has over 100 people, which will be an extra $1000 or so. Beyond that, you just have to be careful of the inflated prices from Command Performance for any upgrades you wish to do for chairs, rentals, and the like. Luckily, the venue is so beautiful you shouldn't really need too many of the upgrades. CONCLUSION: As long as you are prepared for possible communication problems with Command Performance, this would be the perfect venue. My tip would be to get things planned well beforehand and to always be on top of questions you have asked and still need answered. If possible, filter all your questions through Kay first and then put all of the questions into 1 email instead of multiple. Or just hire a planner to do all of that for you. If you're okay with that, then you will have the perfect wedding of your dreams! read more

My wife and I chose Eden Gardens to have our fall wedding and it was perfect. I was not the biggest fan of the venue when we first booked it and was very skeptical about using their in house caterer Command Performance Catering. But let me tell you, they both over exceeded my expectations. Once the venue is set and the night falls, it really takes shape and looks like a page out of a fairytale book. The fountains only add to the aura of the venue. All of our guests were impressed, surprised and amazed at how the night turned out and looked. The food didn't slack either. Command Performance came through and delivered probably the best food I've ever had at a wedding (and I'm not just saying that as the groom). I had plenty of people tell me that night and the following nights, that the food was simply amazing. The taste was great and everything was cooked to perfection. The service from Command was awesome as well They were constantly checking to see if me and my wife were ok with food and cocktails all night. Super on point. Let's not forget our wedding coordinator, Soltana, with Velvet Alley Events. She was the best. We didn't worry about one thing while she and her team were on the job. She set the plan and she delivered. I've heard horror stories about wedding days and all the things that go wrong and unorganized. I was not about to let that happen on our big day. Well worth the extra money to have her there overseeing everything. She's an awesome person to boot and that always makes these types of working relationships, that much better. Just went to a wedding here on Sunday. The venue is gorgeous!!! The staff was very friendly and helpful. The food? Wow- it was good! Every area was carefully thought out and the details were perfect. The reception area had a wall along the back with small waterfalls that created the perfect background noise. The ceremony area was beautiful! Bathrooms were clean and very nice. I can not put into words how amazing, beautiful, peaceful and perfect This place is. It's a slice of heaven on earth and will take your breathe away. It's not just for weddings, the grounds can be used for just about any event. During the day, the flowers, pond the size of a lake with a bird sanctuary with beautiful, unique birds, gorgeous fountains everywhere and an area for white peacocks (yes, I said peacocks). There are paths that will intrigue and surprise you at every turn. I've had the pleasure of meeting the owner/designer/artist of the gardens. He can tell you about every plant and tree and how he strategically positioned it. He is an amazing gentleman who created the garden as his dream, not to make money. It's just what he loves and it shows! There is a circular wall that is a complete waterfall! Patio sitting areas, everything you would need for any event! Nighttime...oh nighttime. Just imagine all that beauty with thousands of twinkling, hanging and swaged little lights all through the arches, in the pond...I can't say enough. It is a hidden gem that I wish I could spend my life simply walking around listening to waterfalls and birds chirping. I am giving this venue 5 stars as I absolutely loved my day of coordinator Kay. She was amazing to work with. She put everything to ease and such a gracious lady. You can tell coordinating weddings is her business. The venue itself is gorgeous. The only things I wish I would've known is the music has to be a certain decimal and can't use fireworks of any kind even the sparklers for an exit idea. They make you use their caterer Command which I didn't like at first but in the end, SO GLAD WE USED THEM!!! The food was delicious and got so many compliments on the food, ambiance and venue. Eden Gardens was the third venue that my husband and I looked at when we were planning our wedding. Ironically my husband found this hidden place which I was skeptical about seeing at first. When we did our first walk through with Kay, we knew this was the one, it was literally perfect (Not to mention, we absolutely adored Kay, she was the most sincere, kind woman and really saw us through to help us have our dream wedding). We wanted a Vintage Disney themed wedding and the outdoor ambiance with the birds, the lake with changing colors, and the beautiful scenery really inspired us! My husband and I knew exactly what we both needed for our wedding day. My must haves were the venue, my dress, centerpieces, and most importantly, not having to worry about forgetting something - I wanted a venue that did it all. While my husbands were great food, alcohol, and a happy wife ;) The day of our wedding was the first time either of us had seen the venue with its entirety and beauty at night - the lights are absolutely amazing and it really sets the tone. Our guests were so impressed and amazed at everything! From the stunning fountains, to the love birds, to then carry into the cocktail hour areas where you see out to the lake - all of it was perfect and our guests were as stunned as we were at the turn out. They really do make the venue look like a fairy tale and that is exactly what I wanted. Everything about it was so simple yet added to our Vintage Disney theme perfectly! As for the food - we were skeptical about having to use their in house caterer Command Performance Catering, especially because that we missed the event to try the food before hand so we really had to trust that they served food that tasted as great as it looked in the photos. But come the day of, they exceeded our expectations as well as our guests. the array of meats we chose were absolutely delicious! Many of our guests voiced to us how surprised they were with how great the food was and how much there was. The taste was great and everything was cooked to perfection. They even had special plates made per my request for my bridesmaids that have food allergies and sensitivities - putting it the side with their names on it, hot and ready to serve. The service from Command and our day of coordinators Dylan and Soltana was so well executed. They were constantly checking on not just us but our guests to make sure everything was in order, the food tasted great, and everyone had what they needed. There were one or two instances that came up with items in our venue and a guests plate of food and both times Dylan and Soltana were there picking up the pieces immediately, they were always on top of it. I appreciated so much as the Bride that A. I never even knew of the issues going on ha! and B. that the two of them cared about my day and my guests enough to make sure everything was perfect at all times. Soltana with Velvet Alley Events and Melanie from Command Performance were great since day one. They are so helpful and quick to respond, especially with the needy bride ;) We loved working with them because they really wanted to make our day perfect and they did deliver for us. Great venue but if you are having music DJ or a band make sure they bring 1 small speaker the music has to be at certain decibles and believe me it's low!!!! AND SECURITY WILL MAKE YOU LOWER MUSIC!!! Never again will I ever DJ or do any kind of event here!!! You have been warned it's really low there decibles rule!!! Look elsewhere! We had my daughter's wedding at Eden Gardens and it turned out to be the most beautiful day ever. Kay and Soltana and the whole team there were wonderful to work with. My daughter had a lot of DIY extras (handmade terrariums and figurines, bookmarks, custom made book arch, and companion cube all made by hand) for her wedding and I was a bit nervous to see how it would all work out. The tables looked fabulous as did all the decorations and little specialty items that made the wedding so unique. We had a couple broken figurines when they struck down the tables at the end of the night but that was to be expected since they were very fragile. The newly refurbished cottage was an unexpected treat for sure. So much fun to have a beautiful house with a large shaded porch, a well stocked kitchen and even a beauty salon at our leisure to enjoy. Such an amazing venue. All in all, from the white peacocks to the fountains to the lovely personnel and lush surroundings, it was like being in a fairytale and I couldn't recommend them enough. Came to a wedding here and all I kept thinking was how "unreal" this place was.. It's amazingly beautiful and well maintained. The venue made the whole wedding even more magical and beautiful. Everything from the water fountains to exotic birds I loved everything about this place. read more

My friend got married here last night, it is a beautiful venue. It is beautifully lit at night. I can see how she fell in love with the location and had her wedding here. The flowers everywhere are so pretty! They also have lily pad filled fountains, white peacocks and funny pigeons. read more

I got married here on July 22nd, 2017 and was not disappointed at all. The first time the now hubby and I saw this venue we fell in love with it and knew it was the perfect location for our enchanted garden theme wedding. Kay was very professional and friendly as she showed us the venue and answered any questions we had. From the moment you walk in you see peacocks, parrot, love birds, fountains, and gorgeous flowers. I highly recommend this venue for any type of reception. You are required to go through there catering vendor, command performance, which I will review separately but they are top notch. Me and my husband got married here on July 7th of this year. Kay was very sweet and very responsive to questions. This place was absolutely stunning. The gardens are immaculate with beautiful blooms. The multiple fountains and ponds were gorgeous. We got so many compliments on our venue and were so happy with it. It was 104 degrees on our day,but it was still beautiful. The only thing that could be improved was the grooms dressing area. It's outdoor, and can be really hot. The other thing that is pretty common with most venues is that you have to use their catering company and coordinator. But we were able to select our own DJ, photographer, and cake. Overall, we were very happy with our choice to have our wedding here. read more

We had our wedding at Eden Gardens and it was amazing. The landscaping is lush and well pruned with flowers everywhere. It has little winding paths with leaf impressions that are simply a darling touch and add to that storybook feel. We had the ceremony on one of the lakeside gardens and it was magical. The cocktail party was by the fountain and bar area. It was gorgeous and perfect sized for our wedding of 130. The reception was in the amphitheater which was simply amazing. Heat lamps were used at our October evening wedding but once we started dancing it was perfect weather. The market lights that are strung created a festive atmosphere and the back wall with the waterfall glows. The owner truly created a one of a kind magical world inside Eden Gardens! read more
