Although we did use a…read morehealthy amount of florals, the venue's vegetation itself lends much to the beauty of the event and we could have likely had less florals with no loss of ambience. The night lighting is beautifully romantic without being too dark, in addition to the multiple fountains adding elegance. The paved walkways were well maintained and kept clean of leaf litter during our event. The availability of two get-ready suites was essential to our queer wedding, and provided ample space for both brides to get ready comfortably with family. Booking the venue requires you to hire their partner Velvet Alley for wedding coordination (or buying them out), but we recommend you take the full coordination package as their assistance with the entire event was invaluable. Soltana was an amazing addition to our planning team, and that is coming from a couple who is fiercely independent, self-sufficient and has high expectations. Soltana was detail oriented, highly-competent, easy to communicate with, ready to answer questions, very willing to help us solve problems, and positive when talking to us. We can honestly say that dealing with Soltana was a highlight of our wedding planning process and our big day would not have been as smooth without her. Overall, our wedding was amazing, and our guests loved the food.

The most striking feature of all was the precision demonstrated by Soltana Mulhearn, and her team from Velvet Alley Events. https://www.instagram.com/velvetalleyevents/ From first meeting at rehearsal Soltana greeted the party, took us on a tour of the lovely property, and explained how the ceremony would be conducted. Soltana's deft handling of the 25, or so, members of the wedding party, all while being patient, and with a smile, was more than reassuring to me, and the others as well. Her staff seamlessly underpinned the event. Her staff were professional, well trained, and just beautiful people. A live event can go "off" at any time. Soltana kept the wedding on track from start to finish, and all with that smile! I would, without hesitation, highly recommend Eden Gardens, and the amazing services of Velvet Alley Events. Thank you. A. Corrao

We've been wanting to and had talked about it... but the day we went in and met Jennifer Frankel, we knew we had to join right then and there. Jennifer's awesome attitude embodies Wood Ranch. I have to also give a shout out to Glenn - the best Bar Master / Cocktail Chemist we've ever met. All in all, every employee here is stellar and they treat us like family. Wood Ranch was exactly what we expected - our home away from home; a place to make new life-long friends; and a place to go for an all-around great experience! Now where do I begin? The food? Ah, their new chef is incredible! The food is the best in Simi Valley with an ever-changing menu and top-quality ingredients. The drinks? Just ask Glenn and he will make it happen. He made Prosecco magically appear for me! The golf? The golf shop is well-stocked and the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. The course? GORGEOUS! I won't lie. It's a ball-eater... but it's also extremely well-maintained and gorgeously groomed. And as I've been told on several occasions - if I learn to play on this course, I'll be able to play anywhere! But wait! There's more! Let's get to the meat of my review here - it's the friendships we've made that are indeed priceless. I joined the ladies 'Pitch N'Sip' league and am meeting some of the nicest, most fun women I have ever met. Another shout out to Stephanie, Ingi, Rita, Julia, Mary, Debbie, and the rest of the ladies... Thank you for making me feel welcome and part of your Wood Ranch family :-) Whether it's live music for happy hour, or a 5-star meal overlooking the pristine golf course, or relaxing in the sauna in the Ladies Locker Room, or enjoying a book in the private room inside the Ladies Locker Room, or attending one of their awesome events (wine tasting! comedy night!), Wood Ranch is an incredible place and I highly recommend you join if you have the opportunity. Remember to say 'Hello' to me in the bar - I'm the one sipping Prosecco ;-)

This is FIVE STARS! Every American needs to come to and…read moreexperience the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library and Museum. It is life changing and will challenge you. So much history. If you were alive then, or younger now and learning about this time in our country's history, this is a once in a lifetime must do. Ronald Reagan's entire life history, his career as an actor, Governor of California, and then President of the U.S.A. is presented. But so much more. This time in our nation's history was well presented, the good and the bad is all presented. Lots of amazing artifacts, Reagans actual writings, historical speeches and his love of his wife Nancy is all there. But the coolest part of the tour is in the pavilion, they have the actual Air Force One jet President Reagan and 7 other presidents traveled on and you can tour the inside of it too, very cool! Also, there is the Marine One helicopter he used, a collection of presidential limo's and secret service vehicles. In the gardens is an actual piece of the Berlin wall and the burial place of President Reagan and his wife Nancy. My wife and I had no idea how big this place was, we got there at 10am and barely finished at 5pm when they closed. Plan to be there all day, we were wiped out when we finished. They have a good restaurant, we got the Ruben, and it was delicious, but the restaurant is expensive. There is so much to this place, too much to write here, you have to go.

There are so many interactive stations from playing "doctor" or "grocery store," to building full landscapes in the sandpit (complete with interactive features like a volcano!). Everywhere you turn, there's something creative and engaging for kids to explore. We stayed for over two hours, and my daughter still didn't want to leave. She's already asking to go back, and we're definitely making this one of our go-to spots! What makes it even better is that they also have workstations for parents who work from home such a smart idea for when you need a little break while your child is entertained in a safe, stimulating environment. The owner was incredibly welcoming, giving us a tour and explaining all the unique interactive experiences. It's rare to find a place that feels this thoughtful and intentional. I would 100% recommend Reign and Shine Play Lab 10/10! Truly a unique experience that every parent and child should check out.

She was very reassuring since we live 6 hours away in SF and made sure everything we wanted was taken care of. If you want a day-of coordinator, you can hire Laura to take care of all the important details on your big day. We also had our rehearsal dinner here (you can pay extra) to rent out the house on the premises or you could just rent out the huge outdoor area in the back of the house. Table and chairs are included with the rental fee. We decided to go with DJ's catering that Laura recommended and they took great care of the catering + drinks part. That is another business I'd highly recommend. Laura has a pay-it-forward program where you can donate one item from your wedding decor and you get free access to the entire room of decor such as signs, card boxes, table numbers, bar signage, vases, etc to use for your wedding which we made great use of. Our ceremony took place in the front grassy area and the reception dinner in the cobblestone area. Our guests couldn't stop raving about how nice everything was afterwards. We had no hiccups or issues on the day of the wedding, the weather was in the low 80s and by the time dinner came around, it was perfect temperatures. The venue offers plenty of greenery and shade even on a hot day. There is also plenty of parking spaces for guests and areas for guests to roam around the venue during cocktail hour. We hope you choose RDLP when it's your turn to tie the knot, we couldn't have made a better decision.

There are multiple spaces that can be used. Indoor and outdoor dining areas available. Pond with ducks and geese. Lots of paths to walk around in to kill time. I see that there is a residence in the premises. If this is available for the bridal party to use to get ready, this facility is even better than I thought. Food was pretty good too.
