Since moving to the Manalapan area a year ago, and trying at least a dozen nail salons, I found Nail Bar & Spa in Farmingdale to be the cleanest and most beautiful nail salon in this area. The service is fantastic and the results are amazing each time I visit. Definitely my new "go to" nail salon and highly recommend. read more

i'm going to go into further detail then because it's deeper than just a walk-in because when I first walked in, I was able to get my nails done and I had no problems, but I let the owner know what happened to me and what nail tech did it and he proceeded to talk to me as if I didn't know what I'm talking about mind you because of this nail salon my nail was completely broken in half all the way up to my nail bed it was causing me extreme pain and you acted like you didn't care and TRIED to explain how acrylics work when I know how acrylics work I've been getting my acrylics done for years on top of that. I'm not from here. I'm from Florida. This was the first nail salon. I came to. I had no problems until I switched nail techs. Let me ask you this as a person reading the comments if you had a problem and you explained to the person that's in charge of solving problems and they talk to you as if you're dumb. How would you feel? I proceeded to walk out and find a new nail salon unlucky for me. they fucked me up too SHOCKER ,so I came back. I didn't come back to the nail salon specifically I just wanted the nail tech that I usually go to. I was gonna cause no issues until the owner proceeded to antagonize me. I got even more upset so I left thank God I found a new and more professional nail salon that knows what they're doing . read more

Way to much nail grinding!!!! Then they told me my nails were thin and got me to pay an upcharge to "make my nails stronger"... they would be fine if you didn't Dremel them 4x! I should have told them to just stop grinding them.. next time I go anywhere I will pay attention to this. Was expecting to pay $37 for a simple basic manicure which was the price listed... ended up paying $70 for no reason plus another $80 for my daughters nails - not to mention that I can't understand what they are saying and while I am trying to be nice... i guess I just have to learn to stop being nice and say no! read more

Scheduled 2 pedicures and ran a bit late. No issues whatsoever. Service was great! The ambiance is beautiful and I wanted a mimosa but I refrained... had a good experience overall. The place seems about $5-10 overpriced on all services so expect to pay a little bit more. We had "Handsome" and "Mary" - they were both good. Check it out! Needed a pedicure and called and they were able to accommodate me fairly soon. The man at the front and the woman who did my pedicure were nice. Very clean and pretty Salon. Just got a basic pedicure. She kept trying to ask me if I wanted my nails or eyebrows done which I did not. The pedicure was OK. My feet look clean but there was almost no massage. 20 seconds one leg and foot and maybe 30 seconds on the other. That was probably the least amount I ever had. I understand there are spa pedicures that include more rubbing but this was disappointing that there was pretty much no Massage. I typically start with a basic pedicure before I decide if I want to come back. read more

Called salon 55 minutes before closing. Phone rang 4 times, then went to voicemail. I didn't leave a message, but immediately received a return call, and a very nice person booked an appointment for me at 5:15!! It was my first visit, but I'll be a regular customer! Beautiful interior, IMMACULATE, top-notch service with a smile, and a huge flat screen TV showing awesome travel destinations! I was in need of a new nail salon, when I tripped across Nail Bar & Spa. What drew me to this salon was Gigi and Justin, who are the owners and operators of the salon and I found them to be very lovely and professional. The salon is immaculate. Gigi is an amazing artist who can create any design you wish and the staff is extremely courteous. I would highly recommend this nail salon to anyone. read more

Looks can be very deceiving. The place looks nice but that's as far as it goes. The service was nonexistent to say the least. The person that did my pedicure didn't speak until the service was done and only spoke to ask if I wanted a manicure. I didn't even realize that this person knew how to speak. Anyways the pedicure was $37. More than what I'm used to for a basic but at least with basic service I get a bottle of water which I was not offered. This place boasts offering a margarita but I saw no such services. I saw a bottle of sangria as I was exiting the "spa" and I mentioned to the manager that I didn't know they offered alcohol which I knew they did but I wanted his response. He just casually waved it off and said, " oh , uh yeah". I paid for my service and left unsatisfied. Quality I'd have to say is very lacking! Very nice, clean, they all do a very good job with technique and quality. I get gel mani and pedi's and they are never too thick and my nails look even. They are always able to accommodate me (I usually can't schedule in advance because my schedule is always changing). It's nice that they're open on Sundays (many others aren't). read more

Very clean, very nice staff. Nikki did my nails and she did such a gorgeous job. I asked for chrome french tips and she totally delivered. She listened to my description of how I wanted the french tips to go long down the sides and wasn't annoyed at all whatever I asked to change the chrome color after the test nail. I was just charged 94.00 for a gel pedi, gel fill and brow wax. The foot polishing was spot on nut she couldn't make a simple flower. My hands, not good at all! I'll have to go and get them repolished somewhere else! Brow waxing, was going well till she dripped wax over my eyelid and under my eye! I was disappointed. I was hoping this would be my new place.
