Lately I've been liking how Jesse has been leaving my nails. She wasn't available today. So I decided to come in anyway, which was the worst mistake. The girl that did my nails literally gave me what she wanted soft gel hard. When I clearly asked her for gel X mind you the soft gel hard cost way more. I just got the worst service ever. They overcharged me my toenails look horrible. She couldn't even reshape the two big toes to match each other. And the girl that did my nails literally got mad when I told her not to add any chrome to my nails. I don't think I'll be coming back here again. read more

I recently started using this place for my manicures and pedicures. Really clean lots of stations and abundance of colors to choose from. The girls who work at the front desk are very helpful and efficient. all of the employees seem to know what they're doing. I've seen about five different technicians at this point and they have all been wonderful. Parking is conveniently located next to the building. read more

I really wish I could give this place more stars, there are definitely some pros. The location is great and I can walk over after the gym. They are really good at scheduling and I've never had to wait longer than 15 minutes to be seated. I recently had a gel manicure not chip at all after 3 weeks and my pedicures usually last well over a month. However it is a wild card depending on the nail technician. If you can find a good person to go to, that will help ensure you consistently get great service. However, buckle up for a story time about the experience I had this morning and it was less than ideal. I was assigned the technician Nina, and I've never had her before. I came in the get a gel removal and then a regular manicure. Nina was really pushing for me to get the gel manicure instead, she brought it up at least five times and from a bunch of different angles, saying that my nails were too thin and might break or that the polish won't last long. I am aware of all the benefits of gel but I can't afford to get my nails done every few weeks and I try to limit gel manicures to special occasions or work events. Usually I paint my nails at home but I always have difficulty removing gel without damaging my nails. After I refused many times she became very quiet and was filing my nails with a little too much vigor and removed some of the skin from under my pinky nail, when I brought this up she denied it. It even burned when she put acetone on it so it was definitely an open wound. When I was first seated I showed Nina a picture of the nail polish I wanted which was a burnt red/orange color, perfect for fall. She brought over a ring of color swatches that looked like gel polish, which is fine because if you don't put it under the uv light, gel colors function as normal nail polish. However, the swatches were only neon colors, which is quite different from the picture I had showed her. I showed her the picture again and asked if she had anything similar. She told me no, because I'm not getting gel and they don't have any colors like that in regular polish. This was so obviously a lie because the swatches she gave me were all gel colors. I told her this and she said I was wrong. This really made me upset and I was getting ready to just payout and leave then I turned around and saw an entire wall of shelves of OPI nail polish. I pointed it out and she lied again and said that it was all gel polish. I asked a different nail technician about it and she confirmed that it's was all regular polish. I grabbed the color I wanted and Nina was silent the whole time, never even apologizing. I didn't want to press the issue and risk getting my finger cut again so I was also silent. At the end of the day she did a decent job on the manicure itself, but why the theatrics? I know we live near LA, but we don't need to act like we are all starring in a soap opera. So if you do decide to get your nails done here, make sure Nina is NOT your nail technician. read more

Most of the ladies are by appointment only- which I can appreciate UNLESS they don't keep to them allotted time frames. I had an appointment with at 230pm the receptionist advised me it would a few minutes (it's never a few minutes) at 250pm I asked how much longer? The receptionist then advised me it would 20ish more minutes... what in the malarkey?!? I have other obligations that I need to attend to which is why i can appreciate having an appointment. When I let the receptionist know that they confirmed my appointment 2hrs prior how come they didn't reach out to advise that my appointment had been pushed back by 30+ minutes, so that I can make the decision to turn back around, she just shrugged and said the lady before me had an appointment to..... again, what ?!? That's the customer service you guys are running at this establishment? That person should have to forfeit their appointment or got to the back of the line Or waits for the next available tech. The owner then chimes in and said , some times the designs take long- AGAIN, not my problem. I asked if you guys have allotment times and it was like deer in headlights, the receptionist then responded, so, do you want to wait or not ? Used to like coming here but it's really gone down the drain. Not too sure what the receptionist situation is but they're consistently awful at answering the phone. Majority of the time I have an appointment I need to wait anyways which is NOT the point of an APPOINTMENT. First walk in ever yesterday and the woman was extremely rude. Everything was EXTREMELY RUSHED. Explained my hard gel was gonna cost 85$ (mid appointment) which I've NEVER had to pay that much here. Reason being is because my nails were 'long' and she had to file them (which didn't even make them shorter like I had asked.) Sorry but isn't filing your nails part of getting them done?! This review isn't necessarily for the spa as a whole but for a specific nail artist that works there. I was booked with Bella for a gel x mani and though the manicure looks decent, the experience was absolutely awful. I had a cut on one of my fingers when I went in and now I'm leaving with 4 new ones. I told her that the cut I already had was extremely painful, but she still continued to file over it and press on it throughout the entire appointment. She was extremely rough in her removal and nail prep. I was there with my friend and she was also giving nasty looks to her and overall had a bad attitude by the end of my appointment. I still paid full price for these nails which I honestly shouldn't have considering the treatment I received. The biggest takeaway from this review: I was vocal about pain and discomfort and she didn't listen. Super disappointed. After I paid I didn't feel good about my experience so I went back into the salon and spoke with the front desk addressing the situation. The girl in the front said she would tell the others in charge of complaints and such. As I waited, Bella came back and asked what the problem was and I explained to her that my cuticles hurt and that she cut me in a lot of places AND she left nail polish around my fingers. Instead of taking accountability and apologizing about it, she blamed it on me and just sat me down and peeled off the excess nail polish with the cuticle clipper, WHICH FURTHER TOOK MORE SKIN OFF. I was so baffled like I was too stunned to speak. I was not compensated or even at the very least APOLOGIZED TO. I used to love coming here but lately things haven't been so good and i don't think i will be returning. First off, I made an appointment with Phoebe for 2:30pm, yet they make me wait 30 minutes . Then AFTER waiting 30 minutes they decide to tell me Phoebe is on maternity leave. Why didn't they call to tell me this when they saw my appointment was booked with Phoebe online??? Or at least right when i checked in?! To my mistake, i then agreed to let anybody do my nails, partially because i was getting tired of waiting 30 minutes after my appointment time. The nail tech was very nice and i showed her what i wanted , a stiletto French tip with small design. She assumed i wanted square and cut my nails very short and my nails look nothing like the photo i showed her. Also they now charge for everything?? I don't even know what im paying for because the receipt only shows the total price , not the cost of everything. If you guys didn't know apparently stiletto is $5 extra?? Since when? Also i ended up getting a small cut on my finger from the filing. I didn't notice until i got home and it stung when i washed my hands. Also the nail tech (I think her name is Thi) didn't clean under my nails. I thought that was standard with a manicure?? If I'm gonna pay $105 for a manicure at least clean under my nails. I did not have a chance to get a Mani and Pedi before I left the Bay Area so, when I landed got set in my room off to find Breakfast. While having lunch we decided to find someplace to do Mani's and Pedi's and we decided to give Eden Nail and Spa another chance despite last year visit . Same results no change won't make mistake a third time. Upon arrival,l I was asked if we had an appointment when we did not because we just landed and located this place. The lady said it would be about 10 minutes. DO NOT tell me 10 minutes when it is more than 15-20 minutes. After 20 minutes we were taken to the Pedi Chair where we were asked what type of Mani and Pedicure. We selected the Deluxe from the Menu sign outside. I was told it did not include callus removal which is additional. Each little thing was extra.... and these things should be quoted in price from the beginning. I know Gel is extra. I did ask to speak to the Manager who I was told was off and not available but, another lady spoke to me who really did not listen she let her employees do the talking. My biggest frustration is when associates in a business speak to each other in their own language in front of the customer. This really gives the wrong impression that the customer is being talked about, When you promise a customer Overpromise it is going to be 15 minutes tell them 20 minutes and look like a HERO. Don't tell them 10 minutes and be at 25 minutes. Don't hard sell... Give the Customer the price and move on... When I am paying my hard earned money to a business I expect Good Ole down home CUSTOMER SERVICE , Fast and Friendly with a Smile. I did not find this today at Eden. I would say leaving here today I will not return and will not recommend . I can only tell you there is a pattern in the reviews in the last Month and they are all going downward. What is the point of booking an appointment if you're going to wait EVERY single time? I held off on leaving a review for this nail salon, as I've given them more than a handful of chances to redeem themselves, but of course they have not. I understand that life happens, but don't overbook if you're not able to tend to your customers. I have waited 30-40 mins after my set appointment time each time I've came here. Even when I show up on time and I pay premium for the Royal pedicure and always tip over 20%. If I could give them 0 stars I would. I've been coming here for almost 2 years, have recommended 10+ people if not more, that have been LOYAL customers too. Honestly, at first it was great, I'd come in for a gel x appointment and a regular pedicure. I would pay $90 for both. My gel x was always $70-$75 and my pedicure was $20-$25, just depending on tip and so on. I would come every 2-3 weeks, yes I was high maintenance, but I worked in an animal hospital and in a pharmacy lab, so my nails would always get ruined after 2-3 weeks. I've always had to wait around, have my appointments changed by TRACY to come in sooner, or later than my appointment time. But I didn't mind at first, because if she ever had to squeeze me in or a friend she would. The last 3 times I came, were so stressful! You come in to relax, not have a full on anxiety attack. Tracy has been overbooking like crazy, makes me wait even longer because she's always doing some other girls nails while she's doing mine! Not only that, the appointments are always rushed when she actually sits down to paint them, she gets up in between, goes to someone else, comes back etc. then she's always running around with other clients and checking in, in the middle of my appointment.. When I tell you I would be at the salon for 3+ hours, when my appointment should only be taking 1.5 hours, this was all because she was overlapping appointments! I kid you not, she left my nails soaked in acetone for 2 hours and now my nails are the ones paying for it... this last time that I went I ended up paying $165 for a gel x and a pedicure.... A month ago this set would've costed me $75-$85, but her price increases are insane! I've gotten more crazier designs and custom colors and those never even costed me what this set cost me. This last appointment was it for me, I had requested an appointment originally we scheduled for a Monday because she was busy. So I was just going to get my nails removed and get a pedicure. Then she messaged me the same day saying I could come in on Friday and I'll get my pedicure done and my full set done by her. I get there at 9 because that's what I was scheduled at, she messaged me and told me she was going to be 10 min late. She was 35 min late, she starts soaking my nails and doing the removal, it's 10. She walks over to me and tells me she doesn't have time to do my nails now because her next appointment showed up. Uhmmm??? What???? You told me to be here at 9 and I was! YOU were 35 minutes LATE, and YOU are going to tell me you don't have time to do my nails anymore because your next appointment showed up?! Like are you kidding me? If YOU were on time then YOU would've had TIME to do my nails!!! After all this she told me to come back Monday, or if not she had another girl that was amazing and she was just like Tracy at doing nails. So I said fine, I'll do it with her because honestly, the way Tracy removed my nails were horrible and literally left my nails all jacked up and I did not want to leave the salon with gross nails. Keep in mind I got there at 9am, the girl that's doing my nails, kept messing up the French tip, so she had to keep wiping it off and that made the nails look wonky. They came out thick and lumpy and I had yellow glue all over my nails. The longer I had the nails the worse that glue was getting... I did not end up leaving the salon until 1pm! 4 hours at the salon, because I had to keep waiting around while I was being overlapped with other appointments and not to mention they were the ones showing up late! All of the people I recommended will also not be coming back, after I told them my story, guess what, it happened to my sister and one other friend! I was embarrassed for even recommending this place to them and for it being their first time going and they also paid $120+ just for gel x nails and nothing else... and had a horrible first experience... Ive been going to this salon for years and despite trying a ton of other salons in the area, Eden Nail comes out on top for me 10000% I am never disappointed with the work they do on my nails or the overall customer experience and it's so impressive! Over the last 5-7 years I've been getting my nails and toes done here, they never stop trying to elevate the calming and professional look of the space for its customers, as well as hiring the best nail artists with incredible skill sets. It has just taken me so long to write a review because it's not until I have tried other "high end" salons in the valley area and left dissapointed in one way or another and have realized just how spoiled I have been going to Eden! :) For instance, today I full gel X set by Vivian and a gel Delight pedicure from Angie. Vivian never disappoints in giving me gorgeous nails, but above all a completely comfortable and relaxing experience the whole way through. She was so patient and eager to help me figure out what color I wanted to go with on my nails and was able to help accommodate other clients and her co workers throughout while doing the same for me. It was honestly so impressive to watch. Then, Angie's massage skills with the sugar scrub and moisturizer was AMAZING. Really above and beyond and not lazy like some give their customers at other salons.
