Great ambiance and music but the pedicure was very blah. They didn't give a menu or anything so I presumed it was all included (hot towel, hot stones, exfoliating, etc.). Nope just a nail clip and lotion with a weak, can't feel anything massage. The pedicure lasted 10-15mins and when she was like "Thank you!" In my head I was like oh that's it?!? Granted it was only $30 which is good for a professional nail clip and lotion but I was willing to spend more money for a next tier up pedicure. Might try one more time just in case this was a first time fluke otherwise I'm looking for a different pedicure spot. read more

I visited oasis last week to get a gel manicure. I requested to do cat eye with every nail being a different color, and the artist was willing to take her time while asking me collaborative questions. I'm honestly super surprised at the negative reviews for Oasis. I've been coming here for pedicures for years but what changed for me was when someone else really screwed up my nails and I called Oasis to see if they could fix it. They fit me in and cleaned me up with no problem. I now exclusively go to Zoe for my hard gel manicure and when my nail art ideas get wild Laura jumps in to handle it. Iris has also done my nails and is very skilled with hard gel! Ok but back to what brought me here first- the pedicures! Inside the salon it's very relaxing and the chairs are large and cushy. The bowls for your feet are bagged and sanitary. Both pedicures and manicures have lots of add on options, sometimes I add an extra 10min massage and it's insanely relaxing. There was a time that I thought my nail polish wasn't as clean as I wanted it and after emailing them some photos they scheduled me for a repolish. Overall, this place is clean and relaxing. I haven't had any communication issues with front desk. Every technician I've had has been polite and friendly. The one time I felt they left me wanting something better, they fixed it. My nails were done today by Tracy. Sloppy, thick and clumped. I look like I have clubbed fingers, and paid $50 for it. Insane. But Beauty is subjective, so judge for yourselves. Amazing first time experience!! I normally go to Oasis on Riverside and didn't realize I had booked the Magnolia address instead. The Magnolia Oassis I prefer MUCH more now. The design and vibe of the place feels like a community driven spa. Really beautiful decor and detail to their business. Such detail as the bowl we place our feet in for pedicures. I got a gel x refill and a gel pedicure. Both ladies (I didn't get their names) did SUCH a great job. Every time I've gotten a mani at the other Oasis they never paid much attention to my cuticles. However here, she worked on my cuticles for a solid 20 minutes (desperately needed it) and had such grace and patience. I'm literally in awe of my hands because I've never had such beautiful cuticle work before. EVER. I will 100000% be coming back as a regular. I'm so happy!! read more

I just want to start off by saying that I don't regularly get my nails done so I wanted to treat myself! I found Oasis on yelp and decided to come here based on the good reviews and photos cause I was in the area running errands already. I got gel nails with a beige pinkish color (I don't recall the name) and they lasted me almost a month! I was really surprised because I don't usually get my nails done because I work with my hands a lot so nail stuff don't really last long for me but gel didn't peel off for almost a month! I ended up peeling them off myself at home cause I was being antsy at my desk one day but I'm sure they could've lasted longer if I hadn't. My cuticles have also never been so clean. They were really gentle and clean and I could tell they care about their customers well being. There's plentiful free parking on the street as well! Bad vibes. I've been cut the last two visits. I have been coming here since 2018 and I think this is it for me. The quality of service has really gone down. The nail tech wasn't polite about cutting me and made me feel uncomfortable for being in pain. She kept saying "I don't see anything". It was alarming she couldn't see the little chunk she cut. So I asked her to stop the service. I still paid for a basic manicure, and got my gel pedi done. When I first started going here last year, I thought it was the best and I was so happy to have finally found a nice relaxing spot. However, the last three times were a total disappointment. I received the worst manicure, and pedicures; I left there with jagged edges, smudged nails. My manicure needed to be redone the moment I left. And the woman next to me had the same complaints about her manicure. We both left with nails that looked bad (the woman next to me used the S word). My nails were filed at an angle, and the polish was put on sloppy. Same with pedicure; and the nail tech got into a debate about me wanting my to nails to be trimmed straight across. She barely cut them, I repeated asked that she please cut them shorter but straight across; I don't know what was so difficult about my request. 100s of pedicures techs prior to her all understood that if cut rounded it would grow back ingrown. She actually fought me on it. I couldn't wait to leave. The first time you get bad service at an otherwise fantastic place, you just think it was an off day. But a second and third time, its a pattern and definitely something is wrong with the place. Also, I should note that they gave me a manicure and facial at the same time; that is when my nails got filed at the angle in which the tech sat. I asked the woman giving me a facial to kindly help with my clogged pores, she told me that my pores weren't clogged; how could she tell when we were sitting in the dark; she had no light on me, no magnifying anything to see my face. I had a really great facial there prior and this was just the worst. There's attitude and a real lack of respect for customers. I will not be back and I will not recommend this place to anyone. Every nail tech I've had here has always done an amazing job and I love that I can walk in without an appointment if they aren't super busy. They popped off within three hours after the appointment called and nobody answered to repair it so disappointed in this salon please please please save your money and go somewhere else. Most everyone here is very nice and I never have trouble getting an appointment, but I only come here for basic pedicures now. I got a set of gel-x nails done here (which were great), the issue was when I came back to get them removed. I specifically scheduled a gel-x removal, but I'm not sure the woman doing the service knew how to properly remove them. She drilled so hard she burned my nails, and then she didn't even remove all the gel - I was left with a little lip of gel towards the end of most of my nails. Because my nails weren't properly prepped, the regular polish she put on afterwards looked teeeerrible. I've found a new salon for my finger nails, but I'll still go in for regular pedicures once in a while since those are great and the area's convenient for me. read more

First time in while I'm visiting Burbank and I had an amazing experience. It was a spur of the moment decision, and they gladly take walk-ins. I was helped right away. I chose to get the outdoor manicure ( worth it, it's so nice to be able to have the option to switch it up) and I added extra time for the massage. My manicurist Zoe did a fantastic job- she had attention to detail and took her time. I know my nails are short, but she cleaned up all my crazy cuticles and hang nails and made my hands look new again. The massage was perfect-I work with my hands all week and this was a perfect wind down. She knew how to hit certain pressure points and it was super relaxing. I've been aware of Oasis for about 15 years since I used to frequent their Alameda location around the block from my last job. Nowadays, with most salons closed, I was in dire need of nail TLC. Anyone who gets their nails done knows how tough it's been to find a nail salon and I really haven't found one I trust in my neighborhood. I found that Oasis Magnolia was doing outside appointments by searching out the outdoor nails hashtag on Instagram! After figuring out my schedule, I took to Burbank on a Sunday morning after a pleasant exchange via email setting up my appointment. Sunday mornings are great for finding free parking on what is usually bustling Magnolia Avenue. All the socially acceptable protocols are in place at the front desk as you sign in and fill out a COVID waiver. You're taken out to the patio area where the chairs have been moved for a lovely experience with your nail specialist. I got myself a gel mani and regular pedi with a ten minute neck massage. Please note that massages aren't longer than ten minutes on hotter days. All in all, it was a great visit and will go back if need be. 4 stars for the Deluxe Pedi 2 stars for the Basic mani I went in on different days: Tuesday (Valentines day) @ 11 a.m. and Saturday @ 4:00 p.m. The Deluxe pedicure was fabulous. Only thing is the manicurist cut the corner of my big toe nail so that it slopes downwards, not straight across the way it's supposed to be to avoid ingrown toenails. I think this may have been because she used cuticle cutters instead of nail cutters to cut my toe nails. The mani was basic, as it's called. However, the paint job could have been better. The right hand needed extra paint on the last coat, and it looks like it's missing a top coat. The middle finger on my left hand had a dent in the paint. When I showed the manicurist, she said it was because my nail is like that, but I think she could have at least tried to smooth it out on the surface level. Total cost was $62 dollars for the Deluxe pedicure and Basic manicure separately. read more

Second time here for regular pedicure only. This place is large and conveniently located. The staff is friendly. This time around Misha did my pedicure. She was so nice and did a really great job with cuticles and painting. I really liked Misha. It was easy to communicate with her. Filing, pumice and massage was quite quick in my opinion. It was a very quick service overall. I thought I'd have more pampering time. I think it only lasted 20-30 minutes. The quick pedicure service must be like 5 minutes! The cool neck towel was wonderful in the summer heat. The place could use some updating/cleaning in places but its not bad. They have fans blowing, soothing music, plants for tranquility and air cleaning. I felt like the tools were clean and staff wore masks. I'll def come back. . read more
