This used to be my go-to nail salon, but unfortunately things have changed since the management transition. I initially noticed issues with the regular polish, as my nails would chip the very next day. While I eventually switched to gel and didn't mind it, part of the reason I continued coming was because I live nearby and the location is convenient. What has been most disappointing is that I appear to have been blocked from calling the salon. When I try to call from my phone, the calls do not go through, but they do when I use a different phone. I have no idea why this would be the case, as I have always been polite and respectful. At my last appointment, the owner ended up fixing my nail because the salon seemed extremely short-staffed. When I first came in to have the nail repaired, I waited about 30 minutes before being told to return another day. I did not get upset or cause a scene, I simply came back as requested. Throughout my visits, I have been patient but my nails kept chipping. As a business owner myself, I understand that staffing shortages and operational challenges happen. I appreciated that they eventually fixed the nail, especially since I had experienced repeated chipping that appeared to be related to newer products being used. It's also sad to see so many of the original team members no longer there. What happened to this place? I'm going to have to hunt for a new spot and I'm so bummed about that. The vibe has changed a lot from what it used to be- seems there is new ownership? I came back after a long nail break and today was my third and final visit. The last two appts were a little bit off, all the little things that used to make this my favorite place were hit or miss now, but today was almost insulting. The woman doing my pedicure right away seemed new and unsure about everything she was doing. Cool, I'm patient. But it wasn't really the relaxing vibe I was paying extra for- a lot of bumbling around, leaving the scrub on my legs until it started to itch, cleaning the whole basin while my legs were cold and wet instead of drying them first, stuff like that. I was really dying for some pampering today so all of that stunk, but fine. She barely took any length off my toenails despite asking her to cut them short not just file. The clipper hardly touched them. I had to ask her to go back again and she did and they are STILL longer than they should be. But the part that was insane: during my 10 minute leg "massage" (which was only 8 minutes), she was literally texting with one hand and half massaging me with the other for maybe half the time. I was staring right at her in disbelief. I should have said something but I honestly felt weird demanding she massage me better? I wanted to relax, and that would have felt so uncomfortable. At one point she was just absentmindedly scraping her fingernail up and down the bottom of my foot, totally lost in her phone. I've never experienced anything close to this here. When I paid, the woman at the desk asked how it was, and I hesitated (this woman was right next to me) but said, slowly "um... okaaaay, but" and she cut me off "great! You owe $53"- she obviously didn't care, so I decided not to bother. The polish is nice even if my toenails will have to be cut in maybe a week max. That sucks. I still tipped 15% since I usually tip 25 or 30 because they are usually that good, but now I wish I'd tipped less. Absolutely wild experience. read more

This is an updated review after returning for gel removal, and a full new gel set. There is no doubt that the techs here are top tier. What sets them apart from other places is that they really care about your nail health (won't overdrill/overbuff, very careful with removals, etc). For my birthday, my friend and I decided to get our nails done together, and I thought Organic Nail House was the best place to go. Julie was my tech that day, and she was absolutely lovely. I got hard gel nails done in Japan, and it took awhile to remove, but she handled it with such care. My nails still felt strong. I chose to do white 002 with #13 chrome and it turned out so beautiful!!! I am literally obsessed with this new color and can't stop looking at it in the light!!! I may want to just do this combination every single time!! The salon itself is a very relaxing environment. Especially coming on a weekday, it was extra peaceful and lovely. First and foremost, the cleanliness is exceptional--it feels immaculate and totally hygienic. They actually sanitize the entire chair between customers, which is sadly impossible to find these days! What truly sets them apart, however, is their commitment to punctuality; appointments always start on time, which is a huge time-saver and so appreciated. The atmosphere is genuinely relaxing. It's a blissfully quiet environment, with a strict "no video/speaker phone" policy, making it a true escape from the noise of daily life. They enhance the experience further by offering complimentary coffee, tea, and water AND hot shoulder compress, which is a lovely touch. Long overdue review! My daughter and I had such a nice experience at Organic Nail House. From the moment we walked in, everyone was so kind and welcoming. They were especially sweet to my daughter, which meant a lot to me. The environment felt clean, calm, and relaxing, and we both felt comfortable the entire time. The massage chairs made it even better and helped us fully unwind. We loved the warm towels for our hands and feet. It added such a cozy, luxurious touch that made the visit feel extra special. It felt like a little mommy and me self care day. Also, cash tips are the best make sure to have that instead of using your CC. The only thing is that it is VERY expensive. Over 2 years. Unfortunately, my last experience left a bad impression. My original appointment was deleted without notice, and I was offered a different time afterward, which was inconvenient. After the service, I also received a follow-up text reminding me about tipping. My boyfriend paid for the services for me and my mom as a gift to her for her birthday. We usually tip and I didn't realize that he hadn't tipped appropriately. That felt uncomfortable, especially since tipping is optional and something customers typically handle at checkout. They are already charging more than many nearby places. What if someone wants to support their business, but don't have extra money to tip? I dunno. I just feel like it was unprofessional. Hand model here I make money with these hands, so yes, I take finding a good manicurist really seriously! (The job as a hand model? Not so much. It's ridiculous and fun and pays great!) Sooo long story short- I recently broke up with my nail place of almost 7 years for reasons I won't bore you with. (bleeding cuticles and bad communication etc) So many people recommended Organic Nail House and I have to say - job well done! Now I know a clear polish manicure isn't exactly everyone's idea of a "fun" time but what my client wants my client gets. I upgraded to the Dream House manicure for some scrub and extra massage and my nail tech swept me away to a peaceful place of calm forearms and loose hands. So i'd say- worthwhile upgrade. When I recently called to book an appointment, I was told I now need to pay a deposit upfront. When I asked if this was a new policy, I was told it applies only to me because I "cancel frequently." When I asked for specific examples, I was told no records could be provided due to a recent phone system change. That's not a reasonable basis for selectively imposing a policy on a single customer. The call was then abruptly ended. When I called back to get clarification, I received the same unsupported claim, again without any documentation. For context, my appointments are simple and consistent. I've been a reliable, paying customer, so being singled out without evidence--and then dismissed when asking for clarification--is not acceptable. If there is a deposit policy, it should be clearly communicated and applied consistently to all clients. Selective enforcement without documentation raises legitimate concerns about transparency and business practices. At a minimum, I would expect accurate record-keeping and professional communication before any financial requirements are imposed. I hope the business takes this as an opportunity to review how policies are implemented and communicated, because this experience does not reflect well on customer accountability or trust. read more

I visited organic nail house for a pedicure recently only because I had a very good first experience a couple of months ago with Liz. This last time is unfortunately the last time I will be coming here. I got a dream house pedicure and was pretty disappointed. This pedicure costs $52, so I would expect it to be perfect. The massage was the only decent thing about it, and that was just okay. The nail tech was not thorough at all in any of the other components of the pedicure and did not listen to my requests in terms of nail shape and length. At the end of the visit when it was time to pay, the lady at the front who was taking my payment, asked how everything was. I told her I wasn't really happy because the polish was sloppy and there was polish over the skin and cuticles. She did ask if I wanted to have it fixed, but I was on a tight schedule and it was just an awkward experience. She then asked how I would like to leave gratuity; cash or card. This was very upsetting, as I had just told her I was not satisfied with the services. Please stop expecting gratuity for sub par services. Especially since you're already charging an outrageous price. This is just wrong. I feel that I could've done a better job myself. Do not recommend! read more

Sad to update my review but here it is. We've been coming here for a few years, always pleased with the service and staff. About three weeks ago I texted as I always did, asking if they had an available appointment for (2) pedicures 2 weeks away on a Sunday at 11:30. The answer was no, we have something at 9:30. I'm like wow, you're already booked two weeks from now? The response: the 9:30 was taken just now. I texted, just to be clear you have nothing at 11:30, you had something at 9:30 but now that's gone and we are talking two weeks from now? Oh, they texted back yes we have something for (2) pedicures on said date. Wth? Ok I texted we'll take it. We arrive, it's my sister and I always for years now, and they're super busy, they'll have to put one of us at one end of the salon the other at the other end. Ok, whatever, but it's a first. In the past almost immediately after I sit a super nice lady comes over and asks if I'd like a neck warmer. This time it's a guy I've never seen before and it's near the end of my pedi when he walks up and asks if I'd like one? Ok sure. I'm wondering who is this guy? When I sat down I told my technician I have a full card and would like to use it for callous removal. Sure, she says and I take my card out. When we are through I hand her the card and a tip. When we go to pay (my sister is treating me ). He gives her a total with callous removal which was about $18 more. Oh, I said I used my full punch card for that didn't she give you the card? We'll have to confirm that he said. Awkward and rude tbh. No, I'm lying I wanted to say. Long story short, we moved further away and had decided we'd keep coming to ONH because we've been so pleased. I've been searching for a nail salon I love, and this one had the highest Yelp rating. It's appointment-only and time slots usually fill up days in advance, so you have to call ahead. The first time I went was a lovely experience. I was offered water and a neck-warming heating pad, and the salon was meant to be quiet, relaxing and serene... no loud music, talking or calls. I liked the screens playing HGTV shows so that you can just zone out. The second time I went, I asked for a chrome gel mani. I don't think my nail tech knew how to do chrome, as she asked a few people before confirming with me that she could. She then told me that I had to pick the base color (I don't know.. whatever makes the chrome work?). We tried a few together before it seemed like white would bring out the shiny blue the best. She messed up a few times and had to start over, and I was in the salon for over 2.5 hours when I had to go back to work. I know that people have to learn, but there was no apology and I just wish she'd told me that she didn't know how to do chrome nails, or recommended someone who could. She really took her time to ensure all the calluses were removed, and I can tell from the results that my feet are so smooth and beautiful. I'm happy to have found Lucy. I've been a loyal customer for over five years, and it used to be one of those rare places that truly had heart. I looked forward to every visit--not just for the service, but for the warm, welcoming atmosphere and the people who made it feel special. The former receptionist was exceptional--gracious, attentive, and made every guest feel genuinely seen and appreciated. It was the small but thoughtful touches that set this place apart: a hot beverage offered to every client, curated TV programming that created a calm environment, a warm neck wrap, and above all, a sense of human connection. That experience is gone. Change of ownership I believe. Over my last two visits, the shift has been impossible to ignore. Service has declined, the environment feels cold and transactional, and the new receptionist--unfortunately--lacks even the basics of customer service. A serious training in hospitality and client care would be a good start for her. It's disappointing and so sad to see such a meaningful experience reduced to something so forgettable and overpriced for what you get (or rather no longer get). I won't be returning. read more

My favorite nail salon, by far. I'm very sensitive to smells and it doesn't smell like a salon in here AT ALL. Very well ventilated, very clean, very quiet and every nail tech has been very professional and kind. They have Spiritual, which is a vegan, cruelty-free and 12-free brand of color. Also tons of OPI! Their color selection shelves are always very neat, organized and clean. They take good care of their space here. Their prices are great - $25 for a basic pedicure at the time of writing (May 2023), and so many nice extra services that you can add on to that if you want to make it a truly indulgent spa day. They have a clean, spacious bathroom. Pretty much always some house-based tv programming on the TV - renovation, hunting or just plain educational touring - but with the sound off so you can chill. This is a very sensory-friendly place for me. It's easy to make an appointment on the phone and usually we have no trouble calling in the day before for a weekday appt. I've actually had this bookmarked for years due to its ratings so I was excited to finally get to try it out. Appointment only so I called about a month in advance. Street parking is fairly easy. Surprise bonus: it's pretty close to Porto's, incase you've got a craving before/after... The place itself is small, simple, and the experience was soooo zen. Quiet inside with big screens playing renovation shows. They are very punctual, I started exactly on time and ended at the exact minute my service was complete. Bought the dream house combo as a self-care gift to myself for my birthday and it was great! This included a regular mani / pedi, scrub, lotion, massage. In addition to an incredibly relaxing session, each chair is its own massage chair you have control over AND they bring you a heated neck pillow. Super relaxing, so much so I almost fell asleep. Also received a complimentary water, tea, or coffee. Honestly the price point was very reasonable and for being my first since before the pandemic, it was so worth it. It's now 1.5 weeks later and everything still looks perfect. Will definitely be returning, even moreso after discovering they have a punch card perk! Sunday evening was my first time going w my sister the lady at the front was kind and lovely they gave us a neck warmer and the place was clean Unfortunately the lady that did my nails wasn't the best, she picked my skin on two of my toes so bad that I couldn't wear closed toed shoes nor socks the next day. I would have said something when I was there but I thought she had just cleaned around my nail and we were there close to closing time. Honest review: Today was my first time at this nail salon. Still in search for a good reliable nail salon in the area. Unfortunately I would give this place a mediocre review. Pros: they give you a nice heat pack in your neck. Smells amazing. They use few organic products during your service. They generously use their hot towels. They give you water as well. The ladies are pretty polite. Cons: my mani lady nicked 3 of my fingers causing it to bleed. Okay, i would understand if it's just once, but 3 times ?! She didn't apologize either. They also only use some organic products, but the polish is still the same as where you'd see anywhere else. Based on my experience having been to many different salons, I can tell the ladies who serviced me were not very experienced. Finally a nail salon that provides quality. I'm tired of going to salons where I made an appointment and then everything is going good then a walk-in comes in and the technician hurries up to finish. I just moved to Burbank and I was looking for a new nail salon to go to that was walking distance. I saw the amount of reviews so I decided to come and check what the hype was about. They only do appointments and your slot is your slot. It is consistent and the same amount of time given to you each appointment. I recommend getting the home sweet home. You get to choose two additional services. I usually do the paraffin, scrub, and I add the callus removal. All the ladies that work there are very good. I usually get anxious when nail techs are cutting my nails but at organic nail house they are very careful and don't rush so you can rest assured you want get cut. Prices are on the higher end than other salons, but you really get what you pay for. And if you want quality and be spoiled I recommend coming here. read more

The appointments usually started on time, you were REALLY well taken care of, and most importantly, the end result was a 10/10. Recently, there were VERY loud conversations, from both people in the waiting area on phones and the nail technicians. They no longer seem to play shows - last time they put on a YouTube montage of basic houses on repeat with music playing that sounded like a cell phone ringtone - even the nail technician working with me thought a phone was going off at one point. The service was the worst it's ever been. It took so long (appointment started late), it was quite a while before being offered a neck pillow or a tea, and it just missed the warmth and kindness it used to have. My very basic requests like nail shape and amount of coats (I wanted less) were argued. (Side note: I've been getting my nails done for over 10 years, and I typically stick to the same basic colors). It was clearly one of the techs first time doing one of the services, and the paint looked so messy and uneven. But the real dealbreaker for me was that the area around my cuticles were red and stinging for about a week after I had them done. This was a $100 service. This used to be the most dependable, gentle place in terms of nail service. I would always really look forward to appointments and have referred so many people here. Now, I don't just go around handing out 5 star reviews all willy nilly .. but I may have found my new home. I really can't complain about anything here, my experience was more than I expected and completely perfect. Let's start with parking: I went on a Thursday around 10 am and was able to park right out front in the shade. I barely got my foot in the door when the receptionist scurried my way with a big smile on her face to welcome me. "Ashley?!" She exclaimed, I assured her I was me and she proceeded with her warm welcome. She took my temperature on my wrist, had me sanitize my hands then gave me the gel colors to choose from. I picked 126 for my hands and feet, a nice nude color i definitely recommend. Next I was shown to the first chair. The warm water was running and my two nails techs greeted me. I was brought a chilled bottle of water and offered coffee or hot tea. It was 10 am so the coffee was right on time and very good. While enjoying my caffeine the receptionist offered me a warm neck pillow, which helped me sink further and further into my chair. It smelled so good and the warmth felt like a soothing hug. They reheat this pillow for you as often as you like, and will also offer more beverages during your visit. My mail techs were phenomenal. When trying a new place I'm usually hyper vigilant, staring at my nails to see if they're shaped properly, if my cuticles were done correctly without pain or to see if they miss a spot with the polish. I didn't feel the need to do any of that. These ladies took their time on each step. I didn't feel rushed, but extremely pampered. They even told me to check in on Yelp for a free hot stone massage which I'm so glad I did. I would certainly pay for that service next time. During my session I noticed the other workers cleaning and sanitizing the shop after other customers left. This was very reassuring. They followed all the Covid protocol very well. After my nails were all dry, they put my shoes on for me and I was too comfortable to get up. I was completely satisfied with the job they had done -- absolutely no complaints which is something rare when trying a new nail shop. Once I checked out i was given a face shield and also offered chocolate. Now you KNOW, I want some damn chocolate. I love it here y'all. I definitely recommend you try it, but don't tell you friends about it because I still want to be able to get my appointments when I call. I'm selfish. read more

I had a great experience here. They do offer organic nail polish options (I didn't know this was a thing lol), and several regular polishes. The prices are so reasonable for the services! I got the dream house combo that came with a regular mani, pedi, arm and leg massage and foot scrub. It was only $85 and took about an hour and a half. I was in heaven. The regular mani/pedi combo is around $55 and the individual services are around $30. Gel is another $20. They start off all services with a hot neck wrap (I think all packages come with this?) and a massage chair. The staff was all really sweet. Nicole did my feet (wow that massage was amazing) and she had such a gentle touch. Cindy did my fingers and they look adorable! Will definitely return! read more
