Nora was an absolute angel from the second we walked in, to the second we left. She gave us a free dessert and greeted us very kindly and walked us through the menu. I've lived in this area for 24 years and never knew this place existed and this is easily going to become an every week staple, will also be using them for catering for client events. 100% recommend!

I would give them negative stars if possible based on the horrible, rubbery beef in their beef kabobs. It's inedible and the owner must know it. They deserve to go out of business for ripping off the customer.

Outstanding as ever. Consistently delicious, down home, comfort food. This is a small, family-run business and they are super sweet. It's in the Paradise Point shopping Center on the NE corner of Thunderbird & Tatum; there's plenty of parking. I almost forgot to take pics because I was so excited about the food. The Catfish dinner is my ultimate favorite. Prepared well, seasoned perfectly, and their rice is light, fluffy, and flavorful. Support small & local businesses! This places has been around for a while, and I've been coming here for over a DECADE. They must be doing something right! Check them out.

When i first came to Phoenix 7 years i had the good fortune of eating here 2019. I ate here again in 2020 before the Pandemic. It has been too long for a Return visit. The food is always fresh , well seasoned and delicious! Nothing has changed except the restaurant's popularity has grown. Almost every table was occupied for lunch.. I was delighted again to enjoy a Fatoosh Salad and a Tabouli Salad. Love Salads since i was a child growing up on Garrison Boulevard in Baltimore, Md. Eden Grull rates a 12 , not a 10.. Tasting the food and listening to Middle Eastern Music transports a guest to so many destinations? The Owner's parents are from Iraq. To finish the meal i had Baklava. What an Awesome Feast

My car was getting worked on nearby and I needed to jump on a zoom call and oh my was I starving. Just walking around I found this great place and the owner was there. She was so nice. Let me jump on my zoom and I ordered what I thought was lunch and OH GOSH! Wow it tastes so good I'm so happy I needed to take some home. Definitely coming back with real people next time! Thank you again Nora!

Had a pleasant experience at this unassuming local spot. Was surprised to see the restaurant pretty empty on a Friday night but we didn't mind having it to ourselves while we feasted on Mediterranean goodies. I had the appetizer sampler for my meal and ordered some falafel. My husband had the Moroccan chicken. Portions were very generous. We still have leftovers a few days later ! Compared to other Mediterranean spots. Id say the hummus was a standout- creamy and delicious, tzaziki was rich and perfectly balanced and the falafel were crispy and filling. Pita was so so and the baba was very tasty but not my favorite in the valley. Will definitely go back.

Haven't been here in so many years and regret not coming back much sooner. I'm glad they're still around and seem to have a number of regular customers. Pros 1. Authentic and very fresh food - so glad to be eating real food and not that processed crap at so many restaurants these days 2. Family run restaurant - owner told us about how his mom cooks at the restaurant on weekends. I definitely want to return to try some of mom's dishes 3. Table service - a lot of the middle eastern restaurants seem to be order at the counter now. I was feeling lazy and wanted to have someone wait on me Cons N/A

In past visits I loved their Asobuco but none was on the menu. That's what I wanted to order. There was free baklava ....wasn't looking for free....went up to the counter to order some. Then was given two out of a bunch of stacked containers behind the register. If I hadn't inquired wouldn't have known. In past visits they always walked around with a tray and offered. This was dry as well..... I do appreciate free but not dry. I was willing to pay. I probably caught them on an off night, business was good which is always a good sign. I'll give them another shot but won't order the Chicken Chips.

Every detail you notice is extravagant and purposeful. Visiting on a Saturday for lunch, there were plenty of other families eating together too. I noticed the crowd was mostly older, which lets you know this restaurant is a true staple in the community (I find that usually the old people know what's up). As all 4 of us weren't super hungry, we split the Persian Room Special- Combination of barg (Filet mignon), chicken filet and Koobideh kebab, served with basmati rice and grilled tomato. It was a huge portion of food, served on a large silver platter. The menu states that it serves 2, but it perfectly filled us 4 adults! Granted, we weren't super hungry to begin with, but 2 is definitely an underestimate. I'd say it can easily satisfy 3 hungry adults. Anyway, quantity aside, THE FOOD WAS AMAZING! Everything was so flavorful and paired well together. The meat was also juicy. My favorite was the koobideh kebab for sure. There isn't much more I can say, as the food speaks for itself. The Persian Room is definitely something you need to try for yourself. Weeks later, I'm still craving it and will definitely be back!

I'd been here several times years ago, and after coming back, I'm honestly wondering why I don't eat here more often. I ordered the chicken shawarma, a stuffed grape leaves platter, and hot tea. Everything was exactly what I hoped it would be. The chicken was well-seasoned, tender, and wrapped with the classic toppings, and the portion was fair for the price. Speaking of price, the value here is honestly hard to beat. The stuffed grape leaves platter came with hummus, tabbouleh, pita, and hot stuffed grape leaves. I had completely forgotten they serve them warm, and my brain needed a minute to recalibrate because I'm so used to cold dolmas everywhere else. Once I took a bite, though... yep. That's how they're supposed to taste. Soft, flavorful, perfectly seasoned, and absolutely delicious. I ended up adding some of the hummus and tabbouleh to my shawarma, which made an already great sandwich even better. The service was just as impressive as the food. My server was genuinely kind, gave me a few extra minutes when I couldn't decide, checked in without hovering, and even offered to package my hot tea to go when he noticed I was still working on it. (For the record, ordering an entire pot of tea for one person was an ambitious life choice on my part.) The dining room isn't huge, and there's also a small market attached, which adds to the charm. This place reminds me that consistency is underrated. Years later, I came back, and it was just as good as I remembered. Great food, great service, great value. I'll try not to wait so long before my next visit.
