Being that I have short bangs, there's not a lot of options to hide such a disaster and I took desperate measures and stopped managing them all together. When I found my brow fully grown in and I resembled Frida, I knew it was time to trust someone again. Zenobia told me to lie down on the table. LIE DOWN? yep. She was happy to work with a fresh palate, and she successfully honed in on my natural brow arch and sent me home happy. But with the state I was in then, couldn't anybody have made me happy...maybe. So before touting her amazing abilities I figured I would try her a few more times. After my third visit, I can honestly say Zenobia is the best brow waxer in Denver county (probably further). She's not only talented at her trade, she's very friendly, and always asks "anything new with your skin regimen?" to verify she's not working with something that will cause issues such as Retin-A. Her new location is very clean and the scheduling is very easy. PLUS she keeps a punch card of your visits and you get a freebie after 10!

I sent my college daughter to Rekha for her first experience with threading today. Daughter has had…read more5+ years experience with waxing but wanted to switch to threading. She was genuinely nervous about what to expect and left after her service was performed, in tears. We chose Rekha based off of reviews and had hoped for a great first experience. The call I received from my daughter was a tearful "I never want to do that again, why did she have to be so rude to me". My daughter asked for lip and brow service, asking before and during the appointment to start with the lip service, easing her into the newness of threading. She said she was completely ignored. She has beautiful, full brows and was nervous about the shape as she was not looking to thin them. She repeatedly asked and tried to communicate with Rekha, prepared to show her a photo of her preference but she was rushed through the visit, feeling ignored and with no "voice". I am sad that this was the experience for my daughter and feel it is important to share her experiences because there are "bad days" and "busy days" but completely ignoring a clients needs or not taking time with a new patient should be brought to the attention of others looking to begin their threading journey. Change can be hard for some adults and if a client suffers from anxiety, a little empathy takes just a few extra minutes, and can be a huge way to show kindness. My daughters personal experience today was a lack of respect, an unwillingness to listen to or see (past) photos of her eyebrow shape preference and a disregard to her newness and obvious anxiety to the threading process.

BEWARE!!!! I went in to get a brow lamination and tint for the very first time and was assigned an…read moreappointment with Sydney. Vibes were off from the beginning and for some reason she over-waxed my eyebrows and didn't even laminate them! She literally tried to apply the tint with the lightest touch and it was so uneven there's no way it was an accident. She left my brows oily so luckily it completely washed off the next morning! Not only that but then she tried giving me the crazy 2015 Instagram eyebrow look with one of my eyebrows but not the other?! She sabotaged my eyebrows! It's insane behavior from a stylist if you ask me. I had to go home and wipe the front of my right eyebrow off with micellar water. The whole process took less than 15 minutes which was another red flag but I didn't know. So when I went home I realize she didn't do anything and other than tint and wax my brows. I am beautiful and as a woman whose profession it is to help me with my beauty, to see someone go out of their way to sabotage it is psychopath behavior. I'm going in today to see if they will side with me and give me a refund!
