Very friendly technicians- especially Ultrasound Tech- Anna. I'm glad that they hired a lady now, and she is fantastic, full of knowledge, and empathy. The mammogram was very easy compared to my previous time done at the hospital. Waiting time literally 6min. New, modern, and clean building. I have been there on two separate occasions, I found the nurses, and nurse practitioners to be accommodating but the protocols are unacceptable. I left a message at the location, I was seen at to arrange a call back I was under the impression that I would receive a call after the provider finished with the next patient. When I didn't hear back, I called the telephone number listed on Google. You speak with a robot by the name of Amelia who asks a series of questions to send you to the right location. I was referred to an incorrect location multiple times it was a Saturday and I knew I was running out of time if I was going to reach someone. I told the girl no matter how many times I dialed I was consistently referred to the wrong location. She said she couldn't help me. I said do I drive there to get someone to talk to me and she said that was an alternative. So I drove there, at which time the young lady at the reception desk didn't seem particularly interested in my problem. She accused me of yelling when in fact, I was simply angry and I told her I'm not yelling. I'm just angry at which time I began whispering. I am an 81 year -old stroke patient who has to use a walker. She told me to sit down. She was rude, condescending, and not the least bit interested in making me feel better. She was defensive and responsible for involving someone else sitting in the reception area in our conversation. A five-year-old child would have known enough to not have the conversation in an open reception area. I asked to speak to the building supervisor at which time she put me on the phone in the reception area with the supervisor. Once again, everyone in the reception area heard what was going on. The receptionist humiliated me, and exacerbated a sensitive situation . I would never put myself or a family member in that situation ever again. This is a caution to anyone using this urgent care center.

I recently was at another doctor for a follow up appointment and the assistant asked if I would be able to contact this office for a copy of my records. They said they would locate them and fax them over. They literally took care of it within 15 minutes and my doctor was able to review these notes during my appointment which saved me time and a follow up appointment. Thank you!

If you call the corporate office number, if you can even find it, they can't help you because they are a different office. Midwest Center means nothing other than a common name, like going to a Shell gas station, one has nothing to do with another. Took me multiple requests, over a period of more than 3 years to get my medical records transferred to my new doctor, which were finally transferred as of this year, 2025. Good Lord. What a frickin joke. Please, please, don't waste your time there. See previous review by me if you want the full story. Sep 9, 2022Previous review After being a patient in this practice, long before it became MCWHC, like two decades long, my previous doctors retired, one after the other. Since the changes in doctors in this office, that for me began this year, it was a nightmare to get an appointment, no one seemed to know who was where and when. Had a procedure scheduled for March and received a call 3 days prior regarding the meds and was told that the procedure needed to be pre-paid, even though I have very good insurance. Was 'allowed' to make arrangements since I hadn't been notified and providing that I pay a portion up front. Subsequent billing to my insurance company was submitted with my name reading two different ways and insurance company processed the claims as two different people with two different deductibles. While in direct contact with the billing department, it took me 4 months to get it straight with the insurance company. All along, I continued to make monthly payments since I didn't originally know where the fault lay. Once I discovered it was the bill submissions that caused the errors and delay in payment, the claims were corrected by the insurance company. The very same day that I receive the corrected statement from insurance, I received a voice mail that I was being sent to collection. I returned the call and told them to do whatever they felt was necessary. Not one time did I receive an apology for the months of agony dealing with the insurance company that had to go through every single claim from every single provider this year to resolve the issue. The billing department of MCWHC further claimed that I had not made a payment since March when, in fact, I had paid over $800 while all of this was happening. After receiving nonsense responses from billing, telling me where to look on their website but in no way providing confirmation of my payments, I finally began sending emails directly to Dr. Clear to no avail. My emails have gone completely ignored. Last communication I had with her was that she was going to reach out to my oncology gyne for a consult and get back to me, that's right, oncology. Never heard another word. Maybe I am dying, I guess I won't know from Dr. Clear. The last email I sent to Dr. Clear, I made it clear that no response is a response. After reading all of the complaints here on Yelp, I could not agree more with the rudeness of the billing office and the office staff. They could care less about your health, they are all in for the money. I told Dr. Clear that it is unfortunate that she and others came into a practice that was built long and hard by others that they are destroying day by day. Very sad. Please go somewhere else as I am.
