If you are hesitant to come to this place, please do not be. It is very welcoming and you should definitely come in!!! I walked in the other day did not make an appointment and I was seen right away. I always drive by this and I'm just so glad it's so near to my home. I know this may sound weird and it's my trauma speaking but -I felt so loved and cared for coming in there although it was my first time. I am really glad that I walked in because they have been nothing but so lovely and so, so wonderful. What I appreciate most is also the people who own it and staff there are also kind people. The owners Yvonne and Vincent are so great and genuinely kind. And it's not a fake smiles and fake customer service and two faced kind ya know?? They are just so respectful to each other and the way their demeanor and they speak kindly and polite to each other as husband and wife -you can tell that there is so much mutual respect and love between them and it's not like your usual husband and wife hostile behavior with a nail shop couple yelling and belittling each other in front of clients, etc. (Other staff are also very nice and welcoming!!!) People don't realize how rare it is to see a husband and wife, actually respect and love each other and speak to each other kindly or is that just my trauma speaking, lol but it was very healing to witness more than once. It just reflects the type of people they are, the managers they are, and the kind of healthy environment they provide by how they treat each other and staff. Not many people follow the golden rule to treat others how they want to be treated and it's very rare to experience common decency. 10 billion stars seriously!!!! Highly highly definitely recommend!!!!! My nails came out beautifully and perfect. I'm so obsessed. Major confidence boost as soon as we finished up. I got a milky gel and Vincent did beautiful work. He's very thorough, very kind, so gracious and made sure that I was comfortable the entire time and let me mess with my phone. I'm sure how annoying that could be for other people lol and they make it known, but there was not a single bad vibe here. There was no animosity no drama no negativity. It was just very peaceful in there and I'm really grateful that I got to experience this because it's been a long time since I've had a set of nails that I loved. I will definitely come here every time that I can for as long as I can to support them! I'm very proud of them - thank you very much Yvonne and Vincent !!!!! 1 billion stars out of 1 billion stars you guys are amazing and I appreciate you so much. You have no idea.

I love Edgy!! Been coming for years. I always get a gel pedicure. They are always busy so make sure you come early! Lisa, Ivonne and Angie are my favorites.

Amazing service ! I called and asked if they were available in about 10 minutes and they said yes. When I got there, they greeted me and although I did wait for about 30 minutes once they started my nails it was a great experience. I asked for something very natural that could be inconspicuous at work, but still making my hands look feminine and clean and Yvonne nailed it. She was very sweet and I will be back !

I've been going to this nail shop for a while now and honestly up until today I've had a good experience and the work is always good. But today, the main who did my nails did an awful job. I asked him 3 different times to fix them and he half assed them every time! So when I go to the owner she tried to gas light me and tell me they look good and that's he's the best! If he's the best then wtf this is. I will say the lady who did my toes did an amazing job. But this is ridiculous. I didn't have to pay but I don't like being gaslit either.

Love my new set of nails. French black tip gel with a design done by free hand. The art piece Yvonne did looks Great! They make my nails pop. The place looks great the employees so friendly and cheerful. There's so many colors to pick from. The options are endless. I've been coming to Edgy since they opened many years ago. I have had to stop and come back a lot of time during all these years, but Yvonne never forgets my daughter and I. She is more than an owner of a business she is now an sweet friend! Everyone that works here does awesome work, no matter who does your nails or toes, you'll be leaving so satisfied! The shop is also very clean and big, always a nice relaxing atmosphere. Come give them a try.

I am very disappointed with my experience. Not only was our appointment not honored when we arrived(which was placed weeks in advance), but the quality of the work was also far below expectations. The nails were uneven, polish was left on the skin, and the overall finish looked rushed and unprofessional. I expected much better service and communication. After taking time out of our day for a scheduled appointment, (which was for a wedding!) being turned away and receiving results like this was extremely frustrating. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this business based on my experience.

Edgy Nails is the spot if you want good pricing and great outcomes. Yvonne is patient and kind. I appreciated her small talk without overstimulation and that I didn't feel judged due to my nail preference (short, small) she really impressed me with her skill, focus and professionalism. Have come here 3 times and the techs are all very friendly and do a good job. Pricing is also great. Yvonne did my nails this last go around and they came out great compared to the photo I showed her. Only complaint so far is the wait times. Second time I came I ended up having to wait 1.5 hours even with an appt. This last time was a 20 minute wait with my appt. Overall, love the service and pricing, just wish they were more prompt with appointments and respecting peoples time.

I brought my daughter to this establishment with an idea on her nails. Boy did they deliver on her idea. She lovessss the color green....Not a big color choice by some peoples standards so be brought our own just in case. She got a mani pedi done. The pedi came with a nice massage that also included hot stones. They asked several times if anything was ok before actually doing it to ensure quality. The man that worked on my little girls nails Vince really knew what he was doing. He really worked hard IMO focusing on my daughter's nails for nearly an hour. IMPRESSIVE! We hope to come here again for my other daughters in the future to get this kind of quality again. read more

Good pricing, good service and friendly staff. Taking one star off because the pricing that was verbally communicated was different (higher) than the pricing on their service menu and there was a little back and forth about that. Also wish they had a wider color selection. read more

I have only gone here for pedicures and they do a fantastic job but I only gave 4 stars because the wait can be lengthy and depending on who you get the pedicure might take 2 hrs if you get the little old lady. Still a great place though , will come back maybe with an appointment the wait won't be long. read more

I have been going to Edgy Nails for years, so this review is long overdue! I normally just get a pedicure, but their manicure stations are always busy with repeat customers, so I know this service is excellent, too. In all years that I've come here, I've never had a bad experience. The nail technicians are all good. They take their time, use lots of products on you, give great massages, and carefully apply the polish without any mistakes. They are all very friendly, too. The prices here are very reasonable. If you haven't tried Edgy Nails, you should! They are the best in Riverside! read more

I hate to leave a bad review but I had a pretty rough experience tonight at edgy nails. I came in for a pedicure, acrylic fill, and to get my friend a pedicure as well. All was well until the fill came up, I provided reference photos and asked if it was something that was possible to be done. I was told it could be done. Once the nail tech began on my nails she told me she was going to "do it her way" and completely changed the design. After expressing that I wasn't happy with the way it was coming out I wasn't Met with any kind of solution. The nail tech proceeded to add gems to all of my nails in random places which wasn't something requested nor in the reference picture. I kept having to show the tech spots she was missing with polish between gel coats. After all was said and done my nails ended up smudged and with gaps and gems I didn't ask for. I really tried to politely let yvonne know that I wasn't super happy with the way they came out, unfortunately I was told my fill would be $50 dollars despite me expressing how unhappy I was with the design and fill outcome. I was given a $2 discount off of my $130 total. Felt a little stingy and was told that it looked nice despite trying to explain how unhappy with the outcome I was. Unfortunately will not be returning or recommending this place any more. Included reference photo. Just wish they would've let me know up front they couldn't do it. Or taken off more than $2 for such a bad fill job. read more

I really enjoyed my experience as the ladies were very nice. Didn't have a lot of conversation but still pleasant. Got a small complimentary massage which was nice. The chair for pedicure was very uncomfortable after sitting for 2 hours no matter how I tried to situate myself but the pedicure itself was nice. Manicure was decent. It chipped right away and not really shiny as next day it looked dull. I love showing off my nails and usually get tons of compliments at work not this time unfortunately. I feel a bit cheated for what I paid for but still wouldn't mind going again, maybe. read more

Beautiful nail job, even though it was rushed. But long wait, understaffed, and not very clean. Young children hanging around in spa chairs is unprofessional in any place of business. Seemed like a daycare. Significant homeless problem in the area, most are clearly mentally unstable with odd unpredictable behavior. Don't linger after service. They rushed me through there so quickly the gel didn't even finish curing. Why rush a gel manicure? It's gel. Four nails have peeled. I'll have to get another manicure. Terrible. This fill cost me $40 and barely lasted two days. read more

I left from another salon to come to this one. It was pure luck I ended here I was at another one and the lady with all respect was so rough she kept filing my cuticle skin area I tried so hard to suck it up. But once she got my skin with the drill I just told them that I wanted to leave I had already asked if someone else could do my nails...I felt so bad that I apologized so many times but I am done staying quiet in the expense of my comfort anyways I called to come here and Angie was so understanding & gentle. I am a happy customer and thankful she was able to finish my gel pedicure they do have a lot of customers and I see why! I will come again in the future! I was looking for a refund and a cancellation of my membership. Thankfully the membership got cancelled but no refund because of their contract. But the business claimed no wrong doing and insisted that these are normal results after a mircodermabrasion. You be the judge of that. The one-star review is for the sole reason that I'm not returning to my previous waxing provider, which comes down to management response, or lack thereof, on two separate occasions. The first issue occurred over nine months ago when the Upland location closed. I was unable to get a refund for the remaining balance on my account. When I called this location to ask if I could at least use the funds toward product purchases, the manager never followed up. The second issue happened just this past week. I brought to their attention that the stepping stool (used to get onto the waxing table) has always been filthy. I was told this was not a priority, as there were "more important areas" to focus on. For those unfamiliar, clients sometimes remove their shoes before stepping onto the table for a bikini wax, which makes the cleanliness of that stool especially important. After that response, I made the decision not to renew my membership. Respectfully reviewed.

I never been to this nail salon before so I was skeptic at first as I am ALL new nail salons I go to. Are they going to know any English and be pro active in conversation or are they going to talk non stop to each other in their language and ignore you? Well I took my mom, sister in law and step sister here for Mother's Day to get pedicures. I called before hand and scheduled an appointment just to make sure we would be ok since, you know, Mother's Day and all. When we got there we were greeted right away in a friendly manner. They started the nets right up for us and we took a seat. We also got to turn on the back massage on the chairs (no added charge or markup for that.) Then they gave us a sheet and were told to pick which pedicure we wanted. I chose the herbal pedicure. (35.00). I didn't realize then what kind of pedicure it was until they started on me. My mom has been to horrible nail salons that make her bleed because they man handle her feet and are rough. But she was LOVING every minute of her pedicure. They even went as far as pulling out your ingrown toe nails WITHOUT hurting your toes. WHAT!?! That never happens lol. Also, ALL of their tools were packaged in medical grade packaging so you KNOW they are fresh and completely sterile. That's a HUGE thing for me. Anyways, back to my herbal pedicure. They put fresh lavender herbs in the water which gave off a very beautiful aroma. It helped relax us. They also use hot stones on your legs and feet with lotion that feels OMG Amazing!!! Their herbal pedicures and manicures are VERY organic! The women also were engaged in conversation with everyone. They didn't make you feel awkward or uncomfortable. They were all super friendly and funny. All in all I had an amazing experience and will be going back here from now on. I also went back two days later to Yvonne and got my nails done. (I got the Mermaid Gel polish on my hands and feet.) Definitely TRY it!!! read more

This is my first time using Yelp ever, and this cute little nail salon and spa is definitely worthy to be my first review. The customer service is PHENOMENAL! I came in and everyone greeted me with the smiles and all asked me if I wanted water. It was scorching hot so the cold water was . I got a gel manicure with some a cute rose and it turned out really well. I also got a facial and an eyebrow wax that was amazing as well. I HAVE NEVER BEEN SO RELAXED AT A NAIL SALON, the atmosphere is CALMING, RELAXING, and EVERYTHING IS SUPER CLEAN. I saw them always cleaning and sweeping after finishing a customer, and omg everything was simply perfect. There was Leena's daughter who kept me company for a little while and she was the sweetest. The ladies here are also very nice and some don't talk a lot but that's okay because they are super good at what they do and I get to relax and have some peace and quiet with their soothing music playlist. I had Leena do everything for me, but I'm pretty sure everyone else is good, and their prices are very reasonable This place just makes my day, I will definitely be booking another appointment and coming back very soon! I had set out to find a new salon to try since I had consistently been let down at the local salon I had been going to. I found Edgy nail and saw the great reviews and that it was super close to me so I decided to give it a go! I saw they accepted walk-ins so I decided to try my luck. Everyone was so nice and friendly from the moment I walked into the salon. They had a few customers ahead of me but never made it feel like I wasn't their number one priority. They checked in with everyone throughout their visit and made sure everyone was happy before they left. I worked with Yvonne and she was great! I get dip powder manicures and I was so excited Yvonne had such a range of techniques for that (not to mention the color range she had is the largest I've seen!). My first time going to this place yesterday. Me and my sister were in need of a nail tech badly. We drove around to 3 different salons and couldn't get in because it was almost closing time or we needed an appointment, but Google came through and we tried one more time and found this gym. The techs were super nice and they actually pushed back my cuticle and prepped my nail unlike everybody these days who just skip to applying nail tips super quick. My daughter brought me here for my birthday, and from the moment we walked in, I felt so welcomed. The entire staff wished me a happy birthday, which made the experience even more special. I went to this nail salon for my bridal nails and wanted the ombre style nails and they came out better than I could have ever hoped or imagined. My daughter and I both got our nails done. The first nail tech i sat with for my fill said he was only able to do the ombre nails but not the glitter. But then the nice lady in charge said she was able to do it all for me. I had two broken nails and about 3 other nails that were chipped on the sides. She took her time, was focused on fixing my nails and making sure i got the result i wanted. She asked me about the pigmentation of the pink for the ombre and whether i liked it or wanted more. She would constantly ask and make sure i liked what was becoming of the nails. went to another salon and they told me to come back the next day. edge nail was still open walked in and asked if they would still take 3 of us 45 min before they closed and they did it without hassle. It is a happy place and friendly definitely. The quality of their work is top notch and they back up their work totally. Angie!! I wish we took a photo the first time I ever came to you. My nails were so short weak and had uneven nail beds from damage from acrylics from a different nail salon. I have since been coming in every two to three weeks for a gel manicure and you do the best job every single time. Where do I start -- not only did they get my in quickly for a manicure/pedicure on a busy Friday afternoon, but they helped pick out a color combo that I loved! I've been to this salon once before & saw that they had a change in management. All I have to say is WOW! I love this place.... I like to get my nails dipped in powder and this is the only place I have found that does this without leaving them too thick. They have a huge selection of colors in the powder and can do the ombre look (most places can't or won't do this with powder). I haven't found a better nail salon in Riverside than Edgy Nails and Spa. I have a pedicure every 2-3 weeks and acrylic nail fills with gel. Kathy's work is amazing! I've never had my nails look so good!! Also, Tony does an excellent pedicure! I really enjoy the quiet atmosphere with soothing music AND, it's much cleaner than most nail salons. I've been going to Edgy Nails Salon for dip powder for 4 months. First, everything in the place is very clean. Second, the employee are extremely nice & helpful, and proficient in their work. Third, their work is top notch & they do all kinds of nails at very reasonable prices. The people strive to make sure you're happy.
