I am very disappointed with this edible arrangements order that was a birthday gift for someone. First off I received a notification that the order was delivered and it wasn't. I was provided with a signature from delivery that was just a dash line. When I reviewed my outdoor cameras I saw no delivery made. We tried to call the store and no one would answer. The delivery ended up being made the next day and it was just left on the front porch. Then when we opened the strawberries they were very small and some of them had a weird looking film on them that appeared to look like mold. I would never expect anyone to eat something like that. Also, I paid $5 extra for a white drizzle on them that wasn't even done. I've ordered from Edible Arrangements before and never had a problem. When they had not delivered by 4 pm Mother's Day I called the corporate office, mainly because the store NEVER answers their phone. They promised me they would deliver by 7pm. At 8pm the corporate office was closed. The website changed from receiving the order to processing the order. (Mind you at 8pm at night...and I ordered 2 days ago.) I requested a cancellation at this time on the website and low and behold the store calls me to tell me they were in the midst of getting my order together and was going to deliver it. I said no I want my money back. A guy there assured me he would speak to the owner and get me a refund especially because they did this to me twice. (Last year they put they delivered at 6pm and didn't actually deliver till after 10pm. But stupid me for giving them a 2nd chance. NEVER AGAIN!) So now they never got in touch with me today. Never received a mother's day delivery and when tracking the order it said delivered. Checked with all neighbors, no one had it. Worst experience ever! This was also after they said they delivery till 9pm on holidays. That defeats the purpose, when your mother is in bed by then and family is long gone. Update: Monday they were supposed to deliver, then it turned into Tuesday. I went to the store to cancel the order, since the phone has been off the hook. Apparently there was a long list of other orders not completed and other customers there to complain. I placed an order Thursday, April 5, 2018 for chocolate covered strawberries and a plush bear. I had to follow up with the store multiple times including the driver and customer service to ensure the surprise was delivered. Upon delivery, we found the order was not complete. I immediately followed up with the driver and he advised speaking to the store. There is not a valid number on file for the store so I was unable to reach them. I then contacted customer service again and was advised to wait another 48 hours for the order to be corrected. This was not only disappointing but a true hassle and time consuming experience. This was a very special occasion that turned complete opposite. My hopes are to be completely refunded for the immense amount of time I spent on the phone with numerous reps and the surprise being ruined. I do not understand business at this facility. First, you cannot order and pick up while you are there. Second, you ask the person there for help and recommendations on what to order and they look at you and say it's against their policy to provide recommendations. Also, please wear a face mask! Also, would help to speak English as I do not speak a foreign language so there is a language barrier. So I place my order and she says it will be there between 4pm and 6pm. It was after 7pm when I called and she was very rude. Advising me that the delivery will get there as soon as the driver is available. It was purchased as a gift for someone that I would have liked to lift their spirits but I guess that didnt work as the fruit was mushy and the chocolate was coming off of the fruit. I placed an order online for my brother in the hospital on October 15th to be delivered October 16th. I called that morning to verify the room # and to make sure it would be delivered today because he was going discharged at 7pm that evening. I kept on calling after 2pm to get the status of the driver and no one can reach him/her but they can guarantee a delivery at 7 pm. How? You can't reach the driver, how can you guarantee a delivery? No one was helpful, they told you things you want to hear to get you off the phone. Oh and after 5pm, they either have the phone off the hook or they become suddenly incredibly busy. I had to call at least 10 times to get an answer. I ultimately cancelled my order but was in limbo until today (10/17/19) because the manager can only cancel orders. I was told it was in the system as a cancel on the 16th but on the 17th it was still in the system to be delivered. I called them AGAIN today and the package was at another store. I was told the manager at that store canceled the order but when I called that store, he said the didn't do it yet. This whole process was a nightmare!!! It's not just these two stores, Edible Arrangements in general need to do better with their customers. I have had friends not have their orders delivered on the day specified on the website and it's unacceptable. I know deliveries are not guaranteed but that should be an exception, not the rule. I was told a few times that the package is on the way but never came.
