I went to this Livingston store today looking to get a free fruit box, per the ad on the Edible Arrangements instagram page. When I asked for the box, the worker said that the manager would only give a free box if I made a purchase. I told the worker that the ad clearly says "no purchase necessary", and even showed him the ad. The worker just reponded by saying the manager is requiring a purchase for the free box. I told him this was misleading because the corporate ad clearly says "no purchase necessary". I asked to see the manager. The manager never came to apologize or even acknowledge me - all she did was slap the fruit box on the counter without saying anything or even looking at me. This was terrible customer service and also very unethical. The manager can't just set their own rules when the corporate ad says "no purchase necessary". The worker said I was the 15th person who's asked for the fruit box - good thing I stuck to my guns and didn't make any purchases to get the fruit box but I feel sorry for the other 14 customers that wanted their fruit box for free and got cheated by having to buy something. This is very deceptive and I feel cheated and scammed by this store and manager. Will be complaining to corporate as well. I was delighted when I received a fruit arrangement from a friend. While enjoying and sharing with my colleagues, we stumbled upon a bug embedded in the Kale. I called the store and the young woman who answered was quite apologetic. She stated the manager was not available but would reach out and call me back. She called back a few minutes later to tell me that they were going to replace the fruit with some chocolate covered strawberries. Sorry, right now I am afraid to open the box as I don't know what might crawl out of it! The store may be good and this may just be a "fluke" as the young woman explained that they do wash all of their fruit. Prior to this I would use Edible Arrangements for sending out last minute gifts but this is unacceptable and I am turned off!!! The manager STILL has not called with an apology. read more

i will never order from edible arrangements in livingston again, i ordered a fruit arrangement for around $45-49 and they charged me $22 dollars to deliver in the same town. The worst thing is it's not an outside delivery service, it's somebody that works in the store. This is outrageous, what a rip off read more

My boyfriend wanted to surprise me with some edible arrangements for Valentine's Day by sending some to my job at costco and turns out I never got them on Valentine's Day. Thanks for ruining my special day Edible Arrangements. So I was waiting all day for something to come I didn't know what it was but I left work empty handed and it turns out that they asked if I even worked there and the workers said there's no one by the name of that that works here. When clearly the girl on the phone said that she knew who I was "oh the short girl". Rude very much so. They didn't even want to try to look around for someone of that name. If you knew who I was, knew that I worked in the building, and it was Valentine's Day...you must really have wanted to just upset anyone you could that day. They tried making it up by sending an extra 6 piece chocolate covered strawberries but it still upsets me that I didn't get it the day I was suppose to. And they didn't even try. And better yet they had a phone number to call and didn't even use it. I would've had to pick it up myself when Edible Arrangements is suppose to deliver it. Bottom line. Don't order from here you probably won't get your overly expensive gift anytime soon. Better off picking up and making something yourself and delivering them. read more

For my birthday, my brother in law sent an edible arrangements bouquet with chocolate strawberries to me however what I got was horrific. The flowers were dead and actually two heads fell off the very same day, didn't even make it to the vase. The flowers actually are all wilted. The strawberries were soft and leaking inside. I would have never written this review if I had the opportunity to speak to the owner directly. I called several times and requested I get to speak to the owner "Rod" directly however he didn't feel it was necessary to speak to me. I left my number and asked him to call me back but that went on deaf ears. I simply didn't want others to get a gift basket like I did. My family spent a lot of money to do something really nice for me however what I got was just beyond words awful. If you are planning to do an arrangement from this location... run the other way. You will get horrible service and an arrangement that looks like it was 2 weeks old. The only thing that was actually nice was the delivery person called and made sure someone was home to get the arrangement. Everything else... I ordered an edible arrangement to go to a doctors office. The doctors office closed at 12 PM and I wanted to order before 11 if possible. I placed the order online. When calling to confirm the order. I was told that no deliveries before 12 PM because the driver doesn't come in until noon. I was informed that the driver would be arriving at 11 to deliver the edible arrangement before 12 noon. When placing the order online I was not informed that deliveries start at 12 PM. The delivery arrived right as the office was closing. I've ordered from other edible arrangement locations and never had I had such a bad experience. NEVER AGAIN!! read more

i called Edible Arrangement at 523 S. Livingston Ave, Livingston, NJ on Saturday, 8/30/2014 to have an arrangement sent to someone who did me a favor. when i called i spoke to Tonisha, she informed me that they cannot deliver because their driver came in waited an hour, decided they are NOT busy so he left, therefore i could not have something delivered, she told me to come pick it up myself and bring it to them. I was appalled that she would even suggest that. i asked to speak to the owner, she told me he rarely comes to the store. I asked to speak to the manager, SEBASTIAN and she said he's not here. i left a message for the manager but he never called me back. I WILL NEVER SHOP IN THIS STORE AGAIN, if i need something delivered in the Livingston, NJ, i wlll choose a different sort of gift just so i don't have to use this store. This was HORRIBLE customer service, she did nothing to try to help me out and I'm not sure if she just decided NOT to give the manager the message or if he just decided not to call me back. This store deliver late. I place the order at 11:30 am. It got delivered at 4:45pm. My wife finishes work at 4:30pm. You won't believe this but the store to delivery location is walkable...on the same street. read more

The rudest customer service ever! I wanted to get a birthday arrangement sent to my daughter-in-law today. I called early AM and it never arrived. Sadly, she was going out of town the next day. I called for an update on the delivery in the late afternoon and each time I called the young lady (Laquisha or Tonisha) won't even listen to me. She just transferred the call. Even when I asked to speak with a store Manager she did the same. Don't waste your time with this shop. I am so disappointed. Will never order from any Edible Arrangement place again. read more
