Stopped in EA after church. I was heading to the library and to my p.o. box which are in the same building on Wayne avenue. The guy inside was very helpful. He explained all the flavors I could get and the smoothie was delicious. I just think they should have either Indoor or outdoor seating if they serve drinks and food. It's a tiny little spot, but it works. I've haven't ordered an edible arrangements, but I will send some for Christmas to my business partners and some clients. Overall a good experience. read more

I ordered a sympathy arrangement and it was left on the doorstep in 100 degree heat. Within 15 minutes of bringing the delivery in the house the chocolate was melted and the fruit was mushy. I have been trying to get in touch with the store but no response. They do not pick up the phone and I don't want to leave a message. This is not the impression that I wanted to give to a person who was grieving and loves edible arrangements. Ver disappointed. If the store reads this please respond. read more

I ordered my mother a fruit basket and other items for her surprised birthday party due to her being diabetic a day prior to her event. I started calling the location around 9am to confirm delivery and spoke to a lady that advised me the order was out for delivery and would arrived around 3PM... No problem we were at my house waiting around for them.. 5PM approaches guess what no order - let's remember the delivery guy still has my order riding around making delivers... so I called once again and spoke with the store manager (lady) i don't recall her name.. She advised me they had so many orders come through for the day and my order was still out for delivery.. unacceptable I order a day prior as We had plans on eating dinner at 5 PM and edible arrangements in place of the cake Due to my mother being diabetic... she rudely says to me what would you like me to do for you... worst question you could ever ask a customer... I hung up and left it at that:.. around 7:30 PM after my mom leaves my order is finally delivered.. The fruit definitely wasn't fresh, cantaloupe smelled spoiled, strawberries were bad and the pineapples were disgusting. Whole edible was useless as well as the strawberries we ordered for the dipping station had white mold on them...I attempted to call the store all throughout the weekend with no answer until Monday morning - I advised the manager of experience...and requested a refund immediately as we did not touch the arrangements and it was still sitting in my Fridge.. she then says I'll have my delivery guy come pick the order up once it was in their possession your refund will be issued... get a new manger and if it's a franchise owners they should be ashamed to have edible precious name attached to this owner! read more

I received an edible arrangement last week. There were a few strawberries dipped in chocolate. I have to say I would never order this for someone based on my experience. The honeydew melon and strawberries were completely unripe. They were actually crunchy and inedible. The cantaloupe was OK and pineapple was satisfactory. read more

It's almost 5 and the gift I sent my mother has not arrived. The instructions are to call the store to check on delivery, but of course they are not answering their phone. Does not want to make me do this ever again, what's the point. Instead of a happy surprise I'm left furious and my elderly mom is disappointed...on Mother's Day. Not even close to being worth the money I shelled out. I chose EA because I wanted to be sure this wouldn't happen and I wasn't comfortable trying a new company, next year I may as well as it seems Edible Arrangement is not as reliable as it used to be. It's one thing to be expensive but dependable, expensive and can't be counted on is an incredible fail. And it was quite expensive. Worth it when I thought it was going to be a fantastic surprise for my mom, but service has delivered a fail and now it seems silly to spend money on something like this, won't make that mistake again. read more

A friend had edible arrangements in Olney, Md deliver a fruit basket, flowers and a box of cookies for my 20th wedding anniversary. The presentation was beautiful but the delivery person sat everything on our front step and by the time we got home the ants were all over everything including the box of cookies. I registered a complaint with edible arrangements and they delivered another box of cookies a few days later. The cookies were delicious! The fruit basket and flowers were nicely arranged. read more

Fantastic customer service from Loida at this Silver Spring store location. I had placed my order at a different store (the Rockville store). The Rockville store delivery person decided to just leave the fruit basket outside on the walkway of the recipient's house since she wasn't home. I got an email with a photo of the fruit basket just sitting there unrefrigerated, where insects or animals could have gotten in to it. I repeatedly tried to call the Rockville store and there was no answer. Finally in desperation I called the Silver Spring store. Loida picked up and went out of her way to help me resolve this issue-- and it wasn't even her store! Thank you Loida for saving the day! read more

02/18/20 First I must say that I love Edible Arrangements and have never had an issue with an order from another store location. I ordered an arrangement to be delivered on Valentine's Day. The arrangement was not delivered. I attempted to contact this store all weekend with no response. They never called, never sent an email, never did anything to even acknowledge that they had screwed up and failed to do the delivery. I contacted the corporate office who in turn contacted the store owner. The owner called me 5 days later and said they attempted to do the delivery on that 5th day...only they couldn't because they didn't enter the gate code to the community as I gave it to them. Their idea of a remedy was to attempt delivery again on the 6th day. I guess they thought that was a fair remedy because the owner sounded surprised when I asked for a discount due to the failure to deliver until 6 days after the holiday. The owner reluctantly offered me $15 as compensation. That was an insult as I literally spent about 3-4 hours of my time getting in touch with them to fix the issue. So I asked them to just cancel the order and give me a full refund. I will continue to do business with Edible Arrangements, but this particular store will never get my business again. 02/19/20 I'm revising my review because the owner of the shop contacted me today and is making amends for the earlier issues. Literally the worst customer service. They sent me a coupon for my birthday granting a free 12 ct box of dipped fruit. I've been trying to use this coupon for days without luck. I called the store and they informed me that in order to use that coupon, I would have to spend 29 dollars. Nowhere on my coupon is this specified. I explain this to them and the woman states, " I know. But that's what it is now. If you want I can give you a free 6 ct." I try to explain that my coupon says otherwise. And she's just not having it. One would think that you would stand by your word and clearly this business does not. Will not be purchasing anything from this business ever again. read more

This place lied about delivering the order and then couldn't deliver it later in the day. Don't recommend!

It's common for place of business to be particularly busy on holidays, but what isn't common is for a customer to be blatantly ignored and put on hold for 2 hours. I ordered some items for delivery to my home and simply wanted an update on my order to get a window for delivery. I called around 1pm and was sent straight to VM, called again and was put on hold by the system so I waited on hold while checking my order status online (says order was being arranged). The call was dropped so I called back and was promptly hung up on. Called again and this time whoever wanted to hang up did not fully hang up the phone and I heard people in the store talking and laughing. Not a good experience at all, I simply wanted an update but was met with VERY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE AFTER SPENDING OVER $100 dollars ... read more

Edible Arrangements is always a good idea to me! Especially, the one located in Downtown Silver Spring. The Staff at this place are super awesome and very professional. I was running out of time to get something special for my boss's birthday. I remembered that this place had just moved to Downtown Silver Spring. They were fast, very friendly and oh so helpful! I placed my order for 1/2 dozen chocolate strawberries and picked it up (neatly wrapped) within the hour. I love edible arrangements. Every time the delivery is on time and fruits are super fresh. The teddy bear and chocolate pieces were amazing. My favorite is the boxed apple, banana and strawberries. When these get delivered the whole Office swallows them up in seconds. More please! read more

I love sending this as a gift, but once the person send me the picture---quite frankly I a embarrassed. If you can't afford to fulfill the order---stop. A good friend ordered an Edible Arrangement for me and someone very professional made sure it was delivered to me. He gave me an update on the new Bourbon Barbecue Popcorn (which is delish) and really ensured I was happy with my arrangement. I haven't experienced service like this before with a delivery. I appreciate that the gentleman went above and beyond to really ensure that my chocolate-dipped strawberries, apples, and other fruits were in good shape. I placed my order online FOUR DAYS AGO, but they just called me at noon ON VALENTINE'S DAY to tell me that due to high demand THEY WILL NOT BE ABLE TO DELIVER MY GIFT! My fiancée had wanted to surprise my parents at their store on Valentine's Day with an order from edible arrangements. She had placed an order in advance of Valentine's Day, and had properly placed the correct delivery address and contact phone number. After a guarantee estimate of delivery during the daytime hours, we discovered while driving to Valentine's Day dinner that evening that the order was still not out for delivery. She had called the store and the corporate number and was left on hold for hours. After finally getting through, she employee had simply hung up on her. My mother just now received a call from the store asking if she was available to now accept the delivery. It is Presidents' Day, and my mother is at home and not at work. As she is in the middle of communicating that she would not be able to accept the order today, the employee hung up on her as well. Some simple, basic words of business advice for this establishment - 1. Learn how to correctly anticipate and accurately predict the volume of orders on a special day, 2. Learn how to actually answer the phone and proactively work towards a resolution instead of cowering under a lack of social acumen, and 3. Learn foundational customer service and etiquette. read more
