My kids had a lot of fun running around Candy Kitchen. It's a good way to kill a little time on vacation, especially if it's a rainy day. Selection of candy is huge, and they have lots of other things like stuffed animals, toys, jewelry, etc. The peanut butter chocolate fudge and m&m fudge were both so tasty. There is an extensive selection of gummies. We also found labubus, so just a heads up if you are on the hunt. The staff told us that they were real, but at only $25 I wasn't 100% convinced. Purchased several pounds of the mini fruit slices. Clumped together by lots of sugar and soggy. Went back to exchange for something else. Young kid in charge wouldn't do any exchange for an old nasty product. Been going there for many many years with my adult children. I know what the candy is supposed to taste and look like. When I walked in, there was not as many candies as I thought, when I finally got something I wanted, I asked for service and they didn't help me for 20 minutes, they kept walking by without even batting an eye towards me and my friends. The candy that I bought expired 5 months ago, the service was OK at most, I must say, very little variety of candies.

Cute place but not much exciting beyond the aesthetics. I got some walnut fudge which is baseline for a candy shop and it was lackluster. Not delicious and barely any walnuts. Walnut pebbles if you will. My son got a tiny bucket of cotton candy. My 17 year old tried it and said "yuck glad you didn't get me any." It was cool to go in but we won't be back. read more

I don't know ... In a place called the candy kitchen, was expecting more candy and less stuffed animals. Prices are high, selection is kind of basic unless you're paying for the high end stuff they make on site ... and the other reviews are absolutely spot-on with the employees. No one said a word when we walked in (the place was empty and we were the only ones in there). No music in the store - just silence. There's a screen with a movie that ended and isn't being replayed, but no sound whatsoever other than that. Probably wouldn't go back. read more

Candy Kitchen is a Delaware and Maryland beach tradition. There are three locations in Rehoboth Beach and at least a dozen locations in Ocean City, Maryland. Candy Kitchen is a clean, well-stocked novelty store with homemade fudge, taffy and other candy items. My favorite is the peanut butter cups. The peanut butter is creamy and the chocolate always tastes fresh. My kids like the chocolate nonpariel candies with rainbow sprinkles and the papers with the sugar dots on them. They also have toys such as stuffed animals, beach pails and shovels and slinkies. It's a fun destination for everyone in the family. Make sure to try a piece of salt water taffy. read more

This is the 2nd time I've stopped into this location of the Candy Kitchen. The first time was almost 2 years ago on a girls weekend trip, and today, I stopped in with my husband and 2 sons. Both times, I have found that a smile is really hard to find behind the counter of the Candy Kitchen. When I asked for assistance, I received it, but I can't say it was top notch customer service. The young lady wasn't rude, but it was a stretch to say she was friendly. The candy was okay, but I found it over priced, but I'm on vacation, so I was ready for that. I can't say that I would feel the need to visit again. Especially since there is no kitchen at the Candy Kitchen. So, now that the kids have seen it, that's that. read more

Very expensive candy you can usually get at Wal-Mart or the grocery store for a fraction of the price. In fact, most of the candy they sell is the same exact stuff that every other store sells. It's a nightmare taking kids into Candy Kitchen because they want EVERYTHING. Be prepared to go broke, or be very firm when you say no. Haha. Sorry, I'm a party pooper I guess. Their fudge is tasty, nothing special, but I'm not a big fudge eater anyways. I will say that it's an otherwise fun store to go into, and they have a lot of "cute" things that nobody else has, like the different stuffed animals. Exceptionally great stuff here. They offer an entire sugar free menu as well as the good stuff. The fudge is excellent perhaps a little too sweet but the other chocolates here are really great, not Godiva but still adequate. read more

I thought I'd be able to walk in and find their candy in bins where you can buy individual pieces, all at the same price per pound, so as to try some of many different things. That's what I'm used to. Instead, everything is packaged as in a grocery store, only at a much higher price! Won't go back there. read more

Candy Kitchen has at least three locations in Rehoboth Beach, and as far as I can tell, they are pretty much exactly the same. The main attraction is the bulk candy. It is just like the place in the mall, where you get to fill a bag with a mixture of overpriced candy, except that at Candy Kitchen they fill the bag for you, which is less fun and ends up costing you more in many cases. They also carry fudge by the pound, and a variety of candy novelties and other junk like stuffed animals. read more
