It is also located close to Niskayuna, which is a safer, nicer, area of Schenectady. The apartments are the perfect size and they apartment building is well maintained. As I've continued to live here, I've come to realize how incredible the management is. I have lived in different apartments for 7 straight years now due to moving with school and my husband's job. Safe to say this is the absolute BEST management staff I have ever had. They are very responsive and actually listen. I cannot rave about this place enough.

It's tough to find living arrangements for our parents, but I feel quite comfortable with my mom living here.

Oh, and a 2-car garage! There are two styles, this a "condominium style" and the other a hotel style (one main secure entrance and all the separate apartment entrances are inside. No longer have to do yard work, snow removal, don't have to repair or replace appliances, don't have to pay for weekly pool service or an annual gym membership. Need something, just "call the team." They are polite and prompt to respond. Close to shopping, restaurants, casino and downtown area. Cable included! Electric, gas, water, sewer and garbage are an additional charge but National Grid is around $110/mo and the other utilities/garbage average less than $50 month. If I could have anything different, it would be a different style refrigerator, the upright with freezer on the top (and no ice maker) doesn't provide much freezer space. Without reservation, we recommend the Reserve at Glenville for a peaceful, beautiful lifestyle! There were no water restrictions in Rotterdam at that time. :( This was a wonderful place for seniors when my mom moved in 2005. With a new building manager this place is a great place.

This could be a very nice place for people to live except for (Julie) the woman in charge in the…read moreoffice. She is critical, manipulative and downright abusive to the seniors. My mother lived there and had dementia and was not very mobile. This woman would barge into my mom's apartment, ranting and raving and being insulting. She would threaten my mother with eviction for no good reason other than to upset her and also threaten to make her get rid of her cat that was no issue. I spoke to her, letting her know that my mom did not understand everything anymore and would become confused but she did not care. My mom has since passed away and I remain friends with some of the other folks in the same building. She continues her abuse of all of the seniors unless they strictly comply with her made up rules. She has made many of them cry for simple problems such as the loss of a key when the person is in their 90's. Such a person as this, should NOT be dealing with seniors who many are in their final resting place in their lives. They should be being treated as individuals and not have to be nervous where they live. I will also be contacting the Albany Diocese about this venomous woman to get her removed from abusing the poor seniors in this senior housing complex. No one should be paying to be abused, this is worse for them than being in a nursing home. Saying a prayer for the people at this location and any others that she may work in.

In that time I've had issues, per normal apartment…read moreliving, but any time that I've reached out to the office I've gotten help and the problems resolved. Recently they went above and beyond to make sure a very stressful issue was resolved and went to extra steps to be sure that I was happy living here. No other place I've lived has ever done that. The owners, staff and maintenance team treat tenants like friends and family, not just a rent check. No apartment community is without faults, but when I hear people complain I often wonder if they have tried other communities in the area because I have, and this one is one of the best. The apartments are spacious and cozy, and I have made this my home.
